Hotel Parnasse in Sozopol

DO NOT GO HERE! We came as a group of 20 which appeared to scare the staff at first ,however we continued to sit down and choose our food.
We had to wait around 20 minutes to order and then around an hour for our mains to start appearing. We did not receive any cutlery as well as the drinks that we ordered and we just had to go inside and get them ourselves. Some peoples meals were forgotten and some meals which were incredibly small were taking a very long time to come to the table. Don’t even get me started on the waitresses .They were rude , unbothered and appeared very stressed as if they have not had clients before. They were rolling their eyes constantly. The place was not clean or looked after and our table didn’t even have a cloth on it compared to the other tables. To finish off with, the view is actually really nice as it was right above the sea however everything else was a nightmare so avoid this place at all costs!

Awful. Clearly they double booked in error during busy season and then making up lies instead of apologising. First lied that they tried to call us to confirm the booking but no one answered. Then lied that someone answered and advised that we were not coming. When we showed a written prof of conversation with a member of staff confirming the booking, a very rude manager just shrugged and said they have no rooms available anyway, not willing to help, no apology. Appalling. Imagine if we have flown from abroad and had no possibility of finding a place for the night during the busy season. Also only one person at the reception barely spoke some English and we had to wait for her whlist the other obnoxious woman mumbled something in bulgarian whlist walking away. Vile.

Booked with them through booking.com and wish i seen the google reviews first. Turned up as planned, they lied to us stating we they tried to call but we didn't answer, then they changed their story saying a woman answered and she said we wouldn't come.
They where very rude as if having a customer was an issue for them and when we asked if they had any spare rooms they turned us away. We travelled a long way.
I spoke to them through Viber days before the visit to confirm the payment method which they accept to be okay.
No doubt they overbooked and turned away the overflow.

They have a restaurant. Unfortunately we ate there. Not all of the ingredients listed on the menu were on the plate. The meats were paper thin and burnt. The vegetables were burnt. The salad were trash. We had to wait long. Do NOT go here! At least the view was nice.

We knew the hotel wasn’t going to be all that from the pictures but upon our arrival our room was so dirty. The shower curtain had black gunk on it and the floors are so dusty. The wifi is very weak and there isn’t air conditioning in all of the rooms. The hotel is very outdated and not wheelchair friendly. It’s in a beautiful location but the hotel itself isn’t worth the money we paid.

Terrible

Terrible all over-dirty rooms, terrible food, terrible amenities....it was a hostel, I would not call this a hotel...

This may have been a nice hotel when it was new...
The advertised photos are clearly a few years old, and neglect to show the abandoned concrete shell next door, the tired furnishings, the filthy lift, the mouldy shower curtains and shower tiles, and the general decay of the hotwl.
While it is in a stunning location, don't expect a peaceful stay. There is a club / bar nearby and you will hear the beat of their music until the early hours of the morning, as well as the sound of the massive airconditioning units on the hotel next door (the opposite side to the abandoned concrete shell.)
On arriving, we were first told we hadn't booked, then that we had, but there wasn't a parking reserved for us; and then they decided we had booked, but the parking were all taken despite our parking reservation having been confirmed... The one member of staff that said we must park somewhere else has clearly never had any good travel and tourism lessons or experience, and was downright obnoxious!
All in all this was a very disappointing experience, and we were actually showcasing Bulgaria to my mother.
Sozopol, and Bulgaria, has some really fantastic accommodation at very good prices, but this place is a very bad example of what's on offer!

They never cleaned the room or made the bed.
They did bring clean towels once in 4 nights
We ate in the restaurant I would not feed my dog with what they gave us
My wife sent her chicken back 2 times as it was poor quality and tasted like salt
The refrigerator can not be reset and keeps everything warm saving electricity for the Hotel and making everything you drink taste like warm..
