Hotels on first line in Sozopol

Breakfast is the same for the whole week and it is just eatable. Don't go for All inclusive - there are plenty and plenty of big and small cafes and restaurants by the sea with a descent local dishes

The location is very good, the beach is in front of the hotel, the old town and the center are nearby. We were lucky to find a free parking spot in front of the hotel entrance

One of the receptionists was polite (Asya) and also one of the bellhops. Beach towels are provided upon deposit. The rooms are clean and if you book sea view, it is nice

There is elevator only up to the second floor so keep that in mind if you are traveling with an elder person or someone with difficulties to walk. The main thing that made impression was the staff

The two barmen at the lobby and pool bar were asking for tips everytime you wanted to get something even if you have all inclusive and many times we had to wait a lot until the barman smokes his cigarette and comes to give us a cup of water

I know it is indicated in the offer, I do not think that for a 4-star hotel they should limit you in this way. The pool is okay but the children's section is extremely dirty with yellow water

And speaking of the beach, the toilet there was absolutely horrifying — one of the worst parts of the entire hotel experience. It was dirty, neglected, and far below any acceptable standard

Our stay in the hotel was absolutely pleasant, this was the best vacation we had. While the hotel base is questionably 5 stars, we enjoyed such peaceful and quiet stay that all minor flaws were easily omitted

Most important for us was that there were no queues in the restaurant whatsoever ( we had negative experience with that in better hotels). The pools are very clean, there are always chairs and shade available

The beach is a beauty, clean sand and water, perfect view and location. We enjoyed the entertainment for children and adults, especially the dancers

The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, it was cleaned every day by a very nice lady, who changed towels and sheets every day and made small surprises for our good mood

The food was very tasty and while some of the items were the same every day, we always found something new to taste. The Bulgarian corner was especially good, with very tasty cooked traditional food

I’ve been visiting this hotel every year for the past 10 years and always considered it the best option in Sozopol – great location, close to town, and just a quick taxi ride to the trendy beach clubs

The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and smells fresh, even in the lifts! Top floor plunge pool views are amazing, very comfortable sunbeds. Order drinks from your sunbed

The good part: Excellent location, amazing rooftop pool and superb breakfast

The worst part: the hotel has depreciated quite a bit over time, with mold around exhaust fan in the bathroom; dirty sun lounger on the room's terrace; the fact that room's terraces on the first floor are literally into each other without any privacy; amazingly how they charge you for the parking of the hotel per night, no matter that you are hotel's guest; loud music starting around 01:00 AM till...

The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard,lovely thick towels changed everyday and night gowns provided, luxury toiletries replenished every day, Reception staff are all lovely, and always greet you with a smile 😃 😊, and nothing is to much trouble for them

Spent 10 day's at this hotel,with my partner, we are on our last day booo. The hotel 🏨 is of excellent standard, Breakfast is of a good standard, in our opinion there is plenty to choose from

The staff was polite and helpful. The location is good, the beach is excellent. The pools are always an good option for the kids and adults. Room was good, but go with higher class room if you are with kids

We had a great vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they greeted us and helped us with the luggage. The senior housemaid understood our needs perfectly and cleaned flawlessly. Would absolutely recommend!!

The only problem I have here was Sozopol the city its little far the rest is good the boss is very kind person, the food is good, the beach is good ,the staff specially in reception is amazing, the swimming pool is clean , our room was regularly clean I think is pretty good for Bulgaria

The room, which overlooked the sea, was also wonderful. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to relax for a couple days

Food was great, even for vegetarians. Private beach is great advantage of this place, with sunbeds and umbrella for free (covered by all inclusive)

Older hotel which is a part of larger resort. Rooms bright, clean, with air conditioning, but with carpet. In the resort, there were plenty things to do, many pools, restaurants, bars

Large complex with good food and helpful staff, pool with water slides is a bonus

Very nice place for a vacation. Although when arrived at my Pelican hotel, the sink was clogged, and so half the day we had no sink privilege. Other than that, very nice 👍

It's like a mini village. You have everything you could need there, including a medical centre. Unfortunately the guests are very unreasonable. Some smoke in rooms and the smoke goes into ventilation.

The smoke goes into ventilation and from there in the other rooms, so that sucks. And we got Covid from our holiday, because of the lack of guests' hygiene...

Location is nice, view form the restaurant terrace and rooms with seaview is gourgeous, the food was tastefull, varied enough that everyone can choose something

The view from the room was fantastic - sea, beach, the old Sozopol. The staff is polite, always smiling. The food is delicious, the portions are large.

Fridge would not cool and a/c would not blow cold for the first two days (though it did kick on for the rest of the stay, it must have been turned off for the end of the season and was not turned back on for the start)

Room was clean, spacious, maybe the furniture is old-fashioned for the tastes of some, but well maintained. There are not enough parking places at the hotel, but you can park near the hotel in a paid car park

Excellent quality, both for the rooms as well as for the services and food, definitely higher than the 3* category formally assigned to the place 👍! Owners are very nice and pleasant to interact, all very natural, nothing over-pushed 👌! They took great care of setting up the place with a clearly shown attention to the smallest details, combining this as well with their passion for art

Nice resort to stay, close to the beach but not much around the area. Pets are allowed, but it is best to phone for verification. The rooms were nice, the food was good, small shop with nessassary items.

The resort offers everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday, and there’s really no reason to leave the premises during your stay. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Hotel manager welcomed me with parking for my car right opposite hotel that had tons of space (and also many colleagues with normal sizes pets - its nice its sensibly pet friendly) - parking made me feel calm because I'm obsessed with cars, great room, and restaurant has fantastic...

Great place with a pool! The employees are Russian and very nice. The restaurant had very good prices.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and everything was fine but a couple of details could be improved. Nobody put toilet paper if we don't ask even after changing towels

The swimming pool is in the shadow in the evening, for me it is ok because I like being in the shadow after a hot day but my housband didn't like the cold water. In the morning, the sun is there, so no problem

We spent 4 days in the hotel and definitely there are things that can be changed for the better. Rooms are nice and ours was properly cleaned from the previous guests. It’s close to two beaches and high street

Some tables of their restaurant are situated near the road and you can hear and see cars passing by this road. But in general, it is a beautiful hotel with nice staff and good breakfast

The pool can not accommodate even half of the vacationers i. the wind is too strong and you don't want to be on the beach. People were SMOKING EVERYWHERE

The two main pools and the beach have lifeguards the older guy is very attentive. Loved seeing the birds flying around the main pool but a daily cleaning would be good the decking and sun beds are a bit dirty

Hotel was superb. Very clean and newly built. We went during the off-season so the hotel was empty. Free parking and great breakfast followed by a touring the old town of Sozopol.

Just back from our second stay at the Selena, as normal a word for the staff who are a credit to the hotel. The cleaners never stop ,rooms are serviced every day, and public places kept very clean

Dont expect bacon and eggs for breakfast every day, but there is a good selection of cold meats, cheese, pastries etc. Cant comment on the evening meals ,we always go Bn B

There is easy access to the many restaurants, and a lovely walk to the old town, which is a must visit. The hotel itself has lovely sea views from the rear of the hotel, and its a two minutes walk to the beach

A very well-designed place with a variety of attractions for the whole family. Beautiful gardens and a clean beach. The downsides were no fan in the bathroom and all the moisture staying within the flat

A very good combination of aqua park, swimming pool, saunas, parks, sea, entertainment. The price is overestimated: about 300 euros per night for one adult and three children (9,7,6 years old)

The old key-lock safe cost €10/day, and things like inflatable beach rides, mini golf, PlayStation area, all required additional payment

Summary: Great nature, pools, and beach, but spoiled by poor food, rude service, and extra charges

The quality of the food is good. Negative side is that the variaty between the meals is not big. All other cocktails and drinks are with low quality. Water in the pool was ok but it could be better filtered

We asked for a birthday song to play on lunch but they probably forgot to play it. But some of the rooms were pretty far away from reception and the restaurant a worst of all the far away rooms didn’t have wifi

Amazing ! You can pay 20bgn per person for the access to an equipped beach, a natural swimming pool, a swimming pool with a magnificent sea view and a great park! perfect to spend half a day, very relaxing and clean.

A stunning natural spot on the Black Sea with a rocky beach and incredible views. The clean, untouched coastline and clear water make it perfect for swimming, relaxing, or enjoying the sunset

And they always upgrade us because we go out of season. You often see dolphins in the bay when you dine in the restaurant by the pool 😉

If you're from the UK expect mistreatment! She totally ruins it really bossy and sour. We have stayed here several times before she worked here and it was much better. We mainly stay for the location and views

We will definitely come back during the summer! Guests get free breakfast, free parking, access to the gym and two outdoor pools. There is also a paid sauna and a tennis court (though we haven’t tried it yet

The location is great, in the old town, with superb view over the sea. The hotel team - like a family always working for their quests' wellbeing. The room I believe is smartly designed
