Complex Europe in Dolna Banya

Dear guests of Hotel Europe, I do not recommend a vacation in this place. A friend of ours stayed there, we went to look around the place with the intention of staying for the weekend. We sat down with him to eat, while he explained to us that the bed base was good and clean, as well as the water. What was our surprise and surprise when, with a bang and shouts to her colleagues, swearing and insults, a tattooed employee startled us in the restaurant. Coming to our order, there was no welcome greeting, only rude tossing of menus, like dogs, and the food afterwards without a polite smile, also thrown in. While in a bad mood we could barely swallow, the shouts and "kind" epithets to colleagues continued. We had no choice but to hurry to leave, because anyway we sat down and we couldn't eat peacefully. Even the bill was thrown at us, as if we were given a handout, and we are not customers and we did not come with our money. I think that Vanya wrote on the badge about the employee, we didn't even pay so much attention, we were very disappointed. Apparently this is the way of communication in this place, we just thought that we would apply some other epithet. We gave up the entire stay and looked for another place to stay, where they will behave better with the customers and we will be able to enjoy peace and pleasure from the food.

Me and my friends have been here so many times over the years and everything was perfect. That's why we chose the villa once again. Unfortunately, we were very dissapointed this time. Everything started way before we arrived. We made the reservation for the whole villa and send the advance one or two months earlier. Every few weeks a different staff member would call us with the same questions again and again- indicating the lack of communication between them. And every one of them said- Oh, i don't know, maybe you have spoken with my colleague.
Another thing you should be aware of is that you have an additional fee for most of the things:
1. The rent of the villa (1990lv. per night) includes only the bedrooms and breakfast.
2. The kitchen and living room in the villa is another 400 leva per day.
3. The jacuzi is another 40 leva per day.
4. The football field in the complex- another 100 leva.
5. The barbecue is 350 leva per use.
6. Not sure if the sauna is also paid separately, but either way if you want to use it you should call reception 30 minutes prior for them to turn it on.
7. Another thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is working until 21:00h.
Nonetheless, this wasn't the problem. It's just annoying that it isn't listed anywhere for you to see beforehand and decide if you want to stay there and use the facilities.

Once we arrived our friends had to wait 20-30 minutes to be checked in (they arrived earlier than us). After dinner we went to one of the bedrooms and there were bugs all over the bathroom. We managed to get a room in the hotel part of the complex for the two people who were supposed to stay there. We have asked for the jacuzi for both days but when we arrived one of the staff members said that they don't know of such a thing and that we won't have it for the first day. One hour after they have turned it on on the second day a woman from the complex came and said that we don't use it and they'll turn it off. When we asked if we could turn it back on later in the day, they said no. The second night the mineral pool was filled with cleaning chemicals in the evening and we weren't able to go in. When we asked the guard why did they did it when they know there are guests in the villa he said: I couldn't wait for you any longer.
Overall, the place is not so different compared to previous years (except for the bugs), but apparently with the change of staff throughout the years the quality of hospitality has dropped dramatically.
