Hotel was OK - average but OK for Bulgaria and at the price charged. The room was large and OK. It was warm and clean. The restaurant & bar was actually quite good - breakfast was average by UK standards but it was OK.

Lovely stay
Our maisonette was warm and cosy. It was lovely having the two balconies with views of the mountain.
The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
The only niggle was the pillows! Very lumpy and uncomfortable!
I was a little bit disappointed that the hotel did not offer a personal touch to congratulate my husband on his 60th birthday. I had explained that that was the reason for our holiday and hoped they would do something a bit special, such as leaving a bottle of wine or a cake in the room, or even a birthday card, but nothing. Bit sad...

Great value for money! Breakfast was basic !
Great location(supermarkets and Bulgaria highest peak mountain isn’t far)
Staff were friendly and helpful ,gave suggestions on what we could do in the hotel and outside the hotel when asked. We were told that we couldn’t use the pool but the gym .
FYI: Breakfast isn’t buffet,you will be given a menu and you choose 1 option per person. Drinks:water,juices,coffee are out-you can take as much as you want but if you want fresh juices,you pay extra

Not a bad place for going with your family. I tried there the pool and the gym they have inside. The room was normal and clean. The restaurant have a big number of plates and the food is tasty. The only reason i give 4 star is because the service of the restaurant was so poor. They were hired some children at 16 years of age and we were big company about 30 people. It was just impossible for the young servers to manage with us. In spite of that the managers were inside and didn't help the servers. So that made all the proccess slow and many of us stood without meals and that made us angry.

I ate in restaurant on the first floor. I wanted to eat traditional Bulgarian food. They brought me Šobska salad with fresh pepper (this is wrong). the waiters don't speak English. The other food was correct.

There’s nothing Grand about it in the slightest. It isn't the cheapest hotel around yet you still have to pay 10bng to use the sauna each time. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Bulgaria and this is the first I’ve heard of this. No kettle or hairdryer in the room, just a TV and drinking glasses. Extremely dated, the bed is not comfortable and you can feel the springs. The drains/water really smell disgusting and the shower curtain stank of cigarette smoke. The room was not at all soundproofed (it is really noisy). You can hear people in other rooms talking and even going to the toilet! Breakfast is not a buffet as stated in the description, it is an option of 4/5 small offerings. I ordered scrambled eggs as stated on the menu and this is literally all I got! My partner ordered the combination option which included one slice of tomato, stale cake with salami and cheese. In addition, check-in took ten times longer than it should as the guy didnt speak English. He had to make calls to someone else who worked there to translate. Fair enough until he kept on saying we owed 80bng for the room. I said I had paid (on Gtranslate), it was then written on paper for me. I reiterated I had paid and showed the invoice yet he then claimed I still needed to pay for breakfast which was included. Totally unprofessional.An apology was given for the language barrier in the morning but it is the demanding more money that I didn’t feel comfortable with.Not worth the money, get nicer and cheaper!
