Clean rooms and good location - next tot the sport hall, on the vank of the river and in the middle of sport playgrounds. It's not a fancy hotel but you can spend some time here without hesitation

It is a good 3 star hotel, the rooms are ok, but nothing fancy, basic but good breakfast, but the best thing was the relaxing zone, the saunas, the pool, super nice and clean.

It's a great hotel back to back with the sports complex. The rooms are a bit dated but the friendly staff and great location make up for it. 2 things to note are the great breakfast buffet that is included and the SPA with a large indoor swimming pool. Recommended!

Malyovitsa Hotel has a stunning view, a welcoming atmosphere and it's kids-friendly, with efforts to improve the place. However, the jacuzzi is dirty, with visible mold, and the kitchen is probably the worst I’ve ever experienced - low-quality food at high prices, completely ruining the experience. It’s great disappointing because the beautiful surroundings and improvements deserve better.

The location of the hotel is exceptional and very convenient. Travel time from Sofia is less than 90 min and it's great that there is onsite parking. The temperature in the hotel and the room was perfect to get warm and feel cozy. The food was delicious.

Kartala is the best place to ski in Bulgaria! Period! Ski runs were perfectly groomed, not much waiting time for the lift, and the best is spectacular 360 ° view on the top!!

If you want to escape the massive crowds and high prices of Bansko or Borovets, Kartala is the ultimate local secret. Tucked away in the Rila Mountains near Blagoevgrad, this resort offers a pure, "no-nonsense" alpine experience that focuses on quality over quantity.

The place is great, the lift is nice, fast and comfy. The slopes are wide, but some of them are very steep and wouldn't recommend for beginners. If there is a lot of snow the place is a great place to spend a few days. The price for the lift is affordable and the cafeteria offers good meals.

One of the best places to ski in Bulgaria! Certainly very unique in it's location and style. There is almost nothing around, so you can ski freely ball you want, and there is an elevator going from your hotel room to the ski life ..I kid you not! The best off-piste spot in Bulgaria! Stick to the pow 20-50m right from the lift for the time of your life! PS: brace yourselves for some technical narrow paths at the bottom of the hill! Keep in mind that you simply have to take your board off for 20m of walking at the very bottom, but IT'S WORTH IT!!!

Dream hotel was perfect for our quick night in Zagreb! They were prompt and courteous with the airport shuffle, even with arriving at 1:30AM. The next day, they went above and beyond by dropping us off near the airport where we needed to go. Great beds, shower pressure was perfect and welcomed after a long journey from the States. This hotel is located to the south of Sofia in the shadow of the mountains. Small, friendly, comfortable hotel it has no restaurant at present but there sre cafes and restaurants nearby. Dont trust the lift it is unreliabile. The rooms are large enough and clean. It is a short bus ride to the centre of Sofia and there are walks in the mountains.

Stayed there for one night before flying back home. The hotel room could be bigger. Price felt little bit too high, otherwise no complains. Parking is available right infront of the building. Next to it is a small grocery shop, but unfortunately it takes only cash.

Had an overlay at midnight and tried to find a hotel near the airport to sleep. Stumbled upon this quiet little hotel that is only 10 minutes away from the airport by taxi. Great experience from the moment I booked the room from the hotel's website. Staff was polite, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Overpriced hotel whose heyday was over 30 years ago. The reception staff barely spoke English. You can see from everything that the best before date is long gone. Situated in a quiet residential area (Lozenets), parking space on a nearby parking lot (5 mins). Friendly and helpful receptionist. The bathroom was really dirty - the bathtub was not cleaned and the jets and drain have probably never been deep cleaned, the toilet had poop stains - overall disgusting. The furniture was old and the chairs had dark stains. For 1 night it was okay-ish for an okay price but if I had to stay more and needed to use the shower, I don't know what I would've done.

Small boutique hotel not too far outside the city centre, 10-15 minutes walk away. Our room was small but looked new and are very clean, extremely comfortable bed. The lobby bar is a kind of a joke, 2 stools and a few bottles on shelves, nothing chilled. The staff were excellent, very helpfull and very friendly. A buffet breakfast was included with some choices.
