Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are huge. Location is good if you like to be near a number of tourist attractions.
Cons: No elevator, 50 steps to our room on the second floor. No AC in lobby. Needed maintenance. No safe in our room, but one was installed when requested.
There was a plumbing leak in the wall of our bathroom that steadily worsened. At first there was water on the floor; then it progressed to water on our toilet seat. We requested a move which was honored. We were upgraded to a better room with a view of the water front, but moving all our things late at night was a hassle.
Overall, I felt it was overpriced and not well cared for by the owners. The staff tried as best they could to accommodate us, but they couldn't control the upkeep. Definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. The first floor restaurant is not run by the hotel as it was in the past. The food is excellent, but expensive by Cambodian standards. The included breakfast is served on the 4th floor..nice view and reasonable quality. The roof deck restaurant is a lot of steps up and the stairwell is not air conditioned.

An excellent hotel at the riverfront, wonderful view from th Panoramic suite. The suite is huge and nicely furnished with beautiful old furniture. The staff is courteous and speaks decent English. The location is close to the Royal Palace …
The room was excellent and very comfortable. Water wasn't always hot for showers though.
A typical 3 star in SE Asia. Polite and friendly service. Maybe not the best choice for most western travellers accustomed to the Hilton. If you spend little time in your room is more than adequate though. Firm beds, so perfect for us. Great modern style French cafe downstairs adjacent, roof top bar for nightlife. Directly on riverfront across from waterfront promenade. Close to bars of all kinds and night market.
Located at Riverside Phnom Penh. Nice clean and big rooms but no lift. A bit poor breakfast comparing to a mid priced hotel.
If you want to look back at the colonial age, the riverside rooms of this hotel are for you
The rooms are eueopean 4stars quality, just top, ok no swimmingpool but just nearby 3 min. Walk!! The prices are ok also in theyr restaurant which is managed by european chefcook!
The hotel is in riverside front, best nightlive nearby but stil quit rooms! Ok if u older or problems to go stairways, just look for a room first or second floor, but at the moment they install a elevator!:-)

Hate being conformist, but I cannot agree more with the rest of the people labeled this hotel as overrated. The only good thing is the location. The amenities are far from the standard required for 80 bucks/night.

One of the better places to stay in the area. Only down side is the noise from Candy bar next door, you might want ear plugs to sleep. Good café / bar.

Inexpensive, clean enough for a nomad to appreciate, guest friendly, close to the river, amongst the 136th street bars, excellent and very honest staff. Room #8 is huge and has a balcony, but it's on the top floor (no lift for the disadvantaged) and there is a bit of street noise up to 0400.

Very helpful staff. Meals were good. Even with the lively street that they are on, I slept well.

No frills budget hotel. Cheap but clean and friendly staff. Got a room with no windows which turned out to be a blessing because of all the noisy pubs nearby. There is a safe and small fridge inside the room. Breakfast was decent with omelet, toast, juice and tea or coffee. Many dining options and convenience stores nearby.
