This stay was a terrible experience. The hotel service was perfunctory, and they were slow and unresponsive when problems arose. Communication was inefficient, and the overall experience was very poor. The environment was unpleasant; the water was smelly, the air conditioning was outdated, and the swimming pool was unclean.
I booked three nights, and the first night was very unpleasant, so I requested...
It was our second time returning to Navutu for a holiday stay and it was just as good as the first time. The service there is so accommodating and the rooms are extremely big. Our room had a bath and a long en-suite bathroom and shower and all of the rooms are designed to feel like you are immersed in nature while still enjoying complete privacy. The breakfast menu is extensive with Asian and western...
Navutu is absolutely beautiful! The staff are terrific. Breakfasts are excellent and we had a few dinners there as well which were also excellent. Rooms are spacious. My massage and facial were wonderful. I can’t think of any more superlatives. Highly recommend for any Siem Reap visit
This hotel is clean friendly and well appointed We used the spa, which was excellent and ate in the restaurant on several occasions , the food was good Overall a lovely place to relax while visiting the area

Spencer Tracy once said when I die, I want to go to Claridges. I kinda feel that way about this lovely, small hotel. It isn't over-the-top luxurious, but rather warm and super comfortable with the little things that make you feel very well taken care of. The rooms are very large and resort like. The pools are beautiful and the service. at the bar and restaurant is friendly. Happy hour from ...

Great location and really lovely staff. Not enough pool sun beds and air con in our room didn't work well, either on or off to control temperature ( which the staff knew about).
We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Hotel and rooms was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. And The breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious. Thanks so much!
The service was great especially I want to thank Phearun that was very kind and tried to help
The breakfast was very good the hotel is very clean and nice
The swimming pool was great in the late afternoon to cool yourself.
The WiFi was very bad and we couldn’t get in
It was nice that at the hotel was a singer
But we were 4 nights and every day we had the same one
Nice hotel, which is already a few days older. We enjoyed our stay and the time at the pool was brilliant. The breakfast is varied.
The great thing was the people. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Not right in the centre, but with the tuktuk you can get to the important places quickly. I can recommend it.
The very best hotel we have stayed at during our trip so far! Total luxury for an affordable price. Large quiet rooms, super comfy bed and attentive respectful staff everywhere. Breakfast is always delicious and sets you up for the day. The best pool we have had as it is huge! A short tuk-tuk away from the chaos of the city centre. We will definitely return. Thanks 🙏
I went to Siem Reap on my vacation and spent 3 nights at this beautiful resort was a truly wonderful experience with a great location and just a 5-minute ride by tuk-tuk from Pub Street and wonderful staff. Great breakfast buffet with many choices. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are at home, Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast is nice but restaurant staff should be trained. Overall rating is fair.
Very Accomodating
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Excellent welcome and service in a very well located hotel because it is close to the center but in a quiet street. Large rooms, a little old but very pleasant. One downside: average breakfast
Great little hotel on edge of town. Quiet and tranquil… rooms clean either good beds and showers, what make place is the service from check in to check out Anita looked after us superbly. Massages are great and with a la carte break and free tuk tuk I to town it’s all you need.
Great room, superb territory with tons of plants. Nice location not so far from pub street, but in a more calm district
Mane History Lovers is a delightful gem of a hotel a bit outside of the city center. The hotel is decorated with Cambodian artifacts. The rooms are spacious and the restaurant is good, especially the generous a la carte breakfasts. Best of all, guests enjoy the assistance of a personal guest services coordinator. Great hotel, located centrally to the markets, Pub Street, Old French Quarter & Wat Bo. Plenty of restaurants & shops are located in the area. Stayed in a hotel room rather than a villa. Bed was super comfortable & the room well appointed with A/C, TV with streaming services, fridge, water daily & Tea/Coffee making facilities. Staff were super helpful & friendly. Breakfast was A la Carte with a variety...
We spent 3 weeks in Cambodia. After careful research we booked our own hotels and traveled independently. Most of our choices were great. Sadly our first option in Siem Reap let us down. Cockroaches! Thankfully Reasey Boutique Villa was close by. On every count;comfort, cleanliness, location, helpfulness and value Reasey comes out top for our stay in Cambodia. And a special mention must be made of the...
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here; this little hotel deserves 5 stars. The staff were incredibly friendly with excellent English skills. The manager, Mr. Vanna, was more than kind and always helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean, and there was a small pool – what more could you want? The location is fantastic, central yet quiet, and just a 15-minute walk to...
My husband and I stayed in Seam Reap for 3 nights at this boutique hotel, together with our daughter and her husband. The hotel environment is charming, with tropical plants and flowers bringing serenity to our stay. The rooms were very large, have one queen bed and another full bed. The bathroom and shower is spacious and clean. The rooms are called Villas. Rooms were cleaned every day. There’s a...
The hotel has a good location, not far from the bar street, and several popular local restaurants nearby. The food is good, and I didn't get diarrhea.
Make sure you book the right room type. Except for the small bungalows, none of the rooms have balconies, and some don't even have windows facing outwards. Otherwise, you'll have to go downstairs to smoke. The staff are friendly and polite; they'll...
I've been traveling around Asia for over two years and this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The value for money is unbeatable and it has everything you could need. Spacious room, comfortable beds... The best thing is the wonderful staff, especially a slim, young woman with short hair who serves breakfast. She's absolutely lovely and helped me a lot. I recently stayed at The Aviary Hotel in Siem Reap for 7 nights (Kingfisher Deluxe Room), and it was an overall exceptional experience.
Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Just a short walk to Pub Street, local markets, and the riverfront. This made exploring the city easy without relying on Tuk Tuks for every trip.
Amenities: The pool area is the highlight, with plenty of sun loungers...
Near pubstreet, really good vibe.
A lovely, modern hotel with beautiful rooms. Due to a bit of a lull they upgraded us, which was lovely. Sadly we were disappointed in the subpar breakfast, for a 4-star hotel especially. Staff were very polite but clearly not comfortable enough with English to give us local recommendations, but did absolutely fine otherwise. Overall, a comfortable stay!
Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but there was just too many things going wrong. 2 pools and the bottom one was out. 2 lifts and only one ever worked. And sometimes none. Electricity kept going off. Having said that... Great location, rooms and service. Happy hour on the rooftop bar is great. I'd absolutely stay here again, hoping the small bugs don't happen again. And even if they did, I'd...
As always in Cambodia if you’re not getting amazing friendly service you must be doing something wrong. As everywhere is amazing service and The Avery was no different. Visiting New Riverside Hotel Siem Reap felt like uncovering a hidden gem—a refined urban garden retreat where contemporary Khmer design meets heartfelt hospitality. Tucked into the historic district yet just a short drive from Pub Street, the Old Market, and the Royal Residence, it balanced convenience with serenity.
A stunning hotel in Siem Reap with warm hospitality and a beautifully designed space. The perfect blend of comfort and charm, making every stay unforgettable!
Great value hotel, but little bit far from central market area, like 30min walk or 10min by Tuktuk or Car. Spacious rooms, have breakfast facilities, swimming pool, Spa & Massage center (expensive), 24h reception, free parking space.
Stayed here to attend a conference. Certainly one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in Asia. It is not plush 5 star but just a genuinely beautiful hotel. I had a large comfortable twin room with everything I needed. The hotel manager and all her staff were first class and could not have been more helpful and attentive. The hotel is in a quiet secluded area away from the bustle of central Siem Reap...
I bring school groups to Cambodia multiple times each year. For the last 7 years we have stayed at NRH - and with good reason. What matters to us is the safety, comfort and "feel" of the place - which is largely dictated by how keen the staff are to interact positively with our students, and how quickly they respond to needs or requests. Mrs Sotheara always goes out of her way to help us in any way...

Great hotel, I spent 1 week here, big rooms, nice balcony, very friendly staff, nice restaurant and pool, quiet location only 7min tuk tuk ride from downtown pub street. I really enjoyed my stay here and will come back again. Thank you
My friend was shouted by a random guest while we were waiting for Check in. There isn’t astray by the pool or didn’t receive any information if be able to smoke by the pool or not then an old lady coming shout at us to go get astray and she even call us little jerk. I did informed to the staff about that. Anyway the location a bit far and first we didn’t get the room that we book. I mean like it’s...
I stayed here in August 2025 with my wife and our child (under 3 years old). I booked through Agoda for $27.90 including tax, which I think is a great price considering it also included breakfast. Overall, everything was good. My only small concern is with the water, they provide refillable bottles. Personally, I would prefer single-use sealed bottles for hygiene reasons.
A beautiful and spacious room with wonderful staff. I would love to go back and swim in their wonderful pool. We also had a delicious breakfast. In the afternoon, they have a great happy hour with an excellent bartender.
A quiet place outside the center. Rooms are comfortable and cosy if you’re lucky to get one where everything works. Staff are lovely. The owners allow overbooking as other reviews mention which almost happened to me, at 11 pm, you can imagine… after expressing frustration they just let me stay there. We initially wanted to write a positive review, but the last day marred the overall experience. Hide all your cash in the safe!!! We foolishly left 16,000 local riels in our bag (we were in the pool while they were cleaning our rooms; it's nothing, but it ruined our mood). They were cleaning our rooms during the day, and in the evening, I found 11,000 riels missing—5,000 were left for a scam))). So...
We had a very pleasant stay at Angkor Privilege Resort and can strongly recommend it.
The location is quiet and peaceful, about 5 km from downtown. By tuk tuk it takes around 10 minutes and costs about 3 USD, which was perfect for us. You are far away from traffic noise and the main road, yet still well connected. The location is ideal for excursions – Angkor Wat and the Floating Village are both...
What a peaceful place—and staffed by friendly people. My husband particularly appreciated the breakfast. Had a wonderful experience!
We had a very relaxing five-night stay here and would definitely return. The hotel is in a great location — although out of the centre (so quieter) it was really easy to get into the centre, with tuk-tuks costing only £1 each way on Grab.
The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always happy to assist with anything we needed. We loved spending time at the pool and having a massage.

The hotel was GORGEOUS and the staff really wowed us. We commented several times how much we loved the place and the staff.
Unfortunately, so sad to to report that that food made us sick every time we ate it. First day just stomach aches and the second day minor food poisoning. So eat the food at your own risk. Otherwise, we loved everything else about the place!
Amazing resort! Clean and very comfortable, the beds were super comfy. The staff were so helpful and kind. I cannot say enough about the staff. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I will be telling all of my family and friends about our positive experience.

Quiet hotel , clean and good room , staff very helpful, balcony to see the city , you can rent motobike, 5 minutes to old market by motobike.
The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Overall, the facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast, in particular, was fantastic – you could choose one item from a wide variety of options, and it tasted delicious. I was very satisfied. Regarding the location, it's a bit outside the city center, but it's easy and inexpensive to get downtown quickly by taxi, which was great.
Reasonable price to stay ,good location located along national no.6 . Room acceptable not much clean having cockroaches on bed.
This is a great hotel! It has a pool, the rooms are spacious, and everything is very clean. The staff are really helpful too. The view from the window is beautiful. It's a bit far from the city center, but I rented a scooter, so getting around was easy and the distance wasn't an issue at all. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Siem Reap.

The decor really makes you feel like you're in Cambodia. The hot water temperature isn't stable, and the cleanliness is just okay. But the location is excellent.
The hotel is so nice! Locations is perfect. The rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is delicious. And the staff very helpful. I would highly recommend staying there
Everything is fine, but it's close to the pub street and a bit noisy. Also, forgot to put toothbrushes in room
Had the good fortune of having a room with bed-bugs. Fantastic location, and staff assisted very quickly with said problem. Upgraded room as well. Still, never ideal having your arms and legs covered in bite when waking up on a first night in any city. Recommend, just make sure the room is fumegated first.
Lots of mosquitoes (killed one that had black and white striped legs - aedes mosquito that spreads dengue!), also a small roach crawled across the bed one morning, even though I didn't eat in my room. The sound insulation is very poor, whenever someone wheels a luggage in the floor above you, it sounds like rumbling thunder. The rooms smell funky as well and are not that well maintained. Lovely hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and spectacular service. The location is excellent, close to Pub Street and the night market. Breakfast is perhaps the weakest point, as there isn't a huge variety of Western foods, but it's still good. Highly recommended.
Very welcoming hotel. Our family room was very large. The hotel is located a few steps from the old market and Pub Street. The pool and solarium are very welcoming and a great place to relax. The staff is delightful.
I was only here for a single night but found the room comfortable and functional. The staff couldn't be more helpful to me and the location seems pretty good. It looks like most of the poor reviews are complaining about the Agoda advert so double check if booking through them. Personally, I would stay here again without a second thought.
Facilities are good and room cleaning is good. Friendliness of reception staff is average. Breakfast options are limited and rice and noodle meals are a bit oily. Dining staff are friendly. A major problem is the slow internet connection in the rooms.

Siem Reap, #20 Road, Wat Bo Village (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It’s very quiet and peaceful, and the whole place has such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. They even upgraded my room for free to the next level.
We also asked them to help us find a driver for Angkor Wat, and they arranged everything. The driver was great, and the whole experience was just perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great distance into town and to pub street (10 min walk or short tuktuk). The staff were very friendly and helpful, helped us organise our tour of Angkor wat.
The breakfast options were great, a large buffet with fruit and local dishes. You could also get an omelette cooked or noodles in broth made (which was delicious!).
The pool was great and quiet. There...
Great location , easy to walk into town, baton supermarket down the street and nice cafes around. Was very empty and the room was nice with a balcony. Pool was well looked after and staff were kind.
We were a family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers from New Zealand. This hotel was perfect 👌 the Manager was attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the two lovely ladies serving were outstanding! The best breakfast service we had in all of our travels through south east Asia! The.Hotel provided transport to a fishing village aswell, at a great price. Also had a good pool, however we were...
Great hotel, HORRIBLE bed
Everything about this hotel was great except the bed. The bed was like sleeping on a wooden pallet, and my husband had a hard spring sticking out into his back. We like firm beds, but this was just plain hard. The staff did all they could to help and gave us several extra bed toppers, which made sleeping bearable. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, breakfast was good...
I stayed for 5 nights.
The staff at the front desk and restaurant all had lovely smiles.
The woman at the front desk was quick to arrange a tour for Preah Vihear.
I got a ride to Angkor Wat from a tuk-tuk in front of the hotel... the next day, the same person took me from Beng Mealea to Angkor Thom and other places.
On the last day, I also asked for a museum.
The only disappointment was that I only...

I had a very nice stay in the hotel. It is beautiful with a nice outside/pool area. The rooms are specious and well equipped. The location is also good, a lot of restaurants and cafés nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would come again.
We're giving a high rating upfront because there was an issue after booking, but in the end, everything was resolved successfully.
It's a good hotel, quite large, with its own grounds and spacious rooms. The location is very convenient, with everything from large supermarkets to food courts within walking distance.
The breakfast is excellent. If there are many guests, it's a buffet plus an à la carte...
Wonderful hotel, the room was very spacious and beautiful. There's a pool, and the breakfasts are delicious.
This place offers incredible value for money! The wooden decor is really tasteful and well-maintained. The balcony, koi pond, and pool are all lovely and relaxing. Our room was spacious and very clean. The service was absolutely exceptional. We were a bit late for breakfast, but it was no problem at all. When the sun started to get a bit much, a staff member went out of her way to move us to another...
A Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Extremely helpful staff. Close to many restaurants and a short walk to Pub Street and the river.
This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. We had a corner which allowed for lots of light. The room was spacious. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent. Price for value - incredible. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
