This is a very nice hotel. Budget friendly. Traffic makes it a bit interesting to get in and out of. Not alot of walkable food choices. The beds are really hard and the mattresses are covered in plastic so you sweat. The shower handles were sharp and the area was smaller than expected with hand rails. The room and hotel itself was very clean. Breakfast was great, loved having Tazo tea selections. Staff was very helpful and pleasant to chat with.

pretty good location with shuttle from airport. if only there are any hooks in the toilet to hang stuff.

The complimentary airport shuttle and breakfast are great. Friendly staff and generally good hotel quality. The renovation of the hotel and the departing aircraft makes it from time to time noisy.

Close to the airport. No noise very clean. Rooms are big. Very comfortable.

Free shuttle works very good. We called the hotel when we arrived. The shuttle was waiting for us. Breakfast is very good. Variety and food taste very good. Overall we were very happy.

The location is very convenient, with great amenities nearby, including a Chinese supermarket and Costco, perfect for stocking up anytime. The breakfast is excellent, a small but delightful spread, and you can even make your own waffles, which is quite delicious and fun.

We are a group of 4 people. On 20 Feb, as soon as We arrived Hampton hotel at about 20:00 and we made a reservation of shuttle bus for 21 Feb at 10:30 at once.
On 21 Feb at about 09:30. I double confirmed my shuttle reservation was still on the list as we didn’t want to miss our flight. However, when the the shuttle bus arrived, the driver told us that we were not on the list to take the shuttle bus at 10:30 and the bus was very full. The attitude of the driver was very bad and rude, he scolded us in front of all other passengers and kept saying that we got on the shuttle bus without reservation. This made us very embarrassed. We choose your hotel because it provides shuttle service to airport that already includes on the hotel price. If we knew it would take a risk to catch the shuttle bus we had made and being insulted by the driver. Frankly, I won’t select your hotel.

This hotel is super close to the airport, making it a perfect choice for layovers or early morning flights. They offer a shuttle service – just look for the blue mini-bus at Gate 5 on the 3rd floor of the departure hall. Right across from the hotel, there's a Chinese supermarket that even sells simple Chinese meals. If you turn right out of the hotel and then left at the traffic light, walking about 500 meters, you'll find plenty of Chinese restaurants. The hotel facilities are a bit old and the cleanliness is just so-so, but the Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. They even helped us connect to the hotel Wi-Fi and booked our early shuttle to the airport. The breakfast was simple, tasty, clean, and hygienic, with coffee and fruit available.

The only place I know of that serves Tokyo style ramen broth. It's clear and light but still flavorful. Had his gyoza which where cooked to order, I especially liked his hokkaido scallop gyoza . Also tried his chicken katsu curry, made fresh and the chicken was nice and juicy.

Decor reminds me a lot of all the restaurants I visited during my travels to Japan. It looks very cluttered but which gives a kind of cozy feel for me (although I understand others may be turned off).

From the outside this place looks like a hole in the wall. Frankly I have been driving by this place a few times a day for the last few months and never considered dining there. I had lunch there last week and was pleasantly surprised. It is a one Japanese man show.... However the food is authentic. My friend who lived in Japan had the ramen and he said it was authentic. I had the fried gyōza which was excellent.

No compromise on quality. The chef here is truly a chef. It's a small place. He's a friendly guy that's passionate about what he does. He won't cater his food for you, you basically take it as he prepares it for you in true traditional Japanese fashion. His ramen is not the usual lard ridden soup but more of a light but flavourful broth. He prides himself on not adding MSG and letting the natural flavours speak for itself. If you're looking for quick takeout, this is NOT the place for you. He's cooks everything to order, and time is required to do so. So appreciate this place not for the service or aesthetics, but for the care he puts into preparing your food because he is an artist trying to show Vancouverite's true traditional Japanese cuisine. People that don't appreciate this only because they're used to modern American style foods that are heavy and lard ridden. His flavours are simple and light, using fresh ingredients to maximize the subtle natural flavours. It's has nothing to do with travelling a lot, it has everything to do with AUTHENTICITY of TRADITIONAL cuisine. Not for self entitled travellers that want a quick cheap meal that don't understand this style of cuisine.

Very small place. 4 tables for 2. 1 table for 4. Absolutely delicious. It is a one man show and so worth the wait for hot fresh food. He is busy with others, and then when it is your turn, it is all about you and perfect food...

After reading some of the other reviews I was curious about what would happen. I had a grand experience. The food was good. I made a point to engage the owner/proprietor. He was delightful. I will definitely be back. Certainly not fancy but high quality tasty food.

Ordered a venti size americano via drive thru. Saw the staff top up my cup with water from the sink tap. Why am i paying $3+ for coffee only to get diluted coffee? What’s more, it’s straight from the tap! No wonder I get the coffee not really hot anymore and doesn’t have the real flavor you would expect. Cheats! Boo.

This Starbucks was pretty awesome. I absolutely loved the walls as it depicts the process of coffee from a coffee plantation to ground coffee. #Starbucks #creative

This Starbucks is in an ideal location for us to get our coffees, prior to driving into Vancouver. It is situated close to the more Moray Bridge, but also close to the Oak Street Bridge. It is in between Sea Island Way, and Bridgeport Road. This Starbucks is extremely well laid-out, having indoor seating, as well as outdoor, patio seating.

I’ll be honest, the server was lovely but the food was not yummy. It was $24 for a plate of linguine with seafood that smelled slightly rank. Yes to the huge portion, but you pay for it!! I was also moved from my seat by another waitress (not mine) saying loudly over her shoulder that other guests could sit at the bar if I moved. I’m not one to stand in the way of progress. I noticed that all the tables around me got fresh bread with their meals. Alas, I was breadless all evening.

Side Caesar salad is a great deal to start and the $7 house red is just fine.

My waitress was simply lovely and didn’t mind chatting with me. She was a highlight!!

EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING is so good!

I won't lie I get a craving for this place from time to time and when ever I’m in town I make sure to come down and eat that this fantastic place!

the portion sizing is HUGE one dish can feed 2-3 people for about $20~ even a Half dish can still feed 1-2 people,

Great atmosphere. The staff us really kind and friendly. If you're hungry make sure to order the full plate. You will certainly have left over for the next day. The portions are very generous. The location is a little hidden so make sure you know where you're going. Little hidden gem.

Not much to look at from out side bit more than makes up for it inside.

And it's intentionally not fine dining. Rather it's super cozy and friendly inside. Lots of choices great of big dishes of pasta. Super big plates of pasta.

And by "big," I mean remarkably huge. One full sized plate can fill 3 people!
