The Burrard in Vancouver

We stayed 2 nights. The first night there was no hot water . The noize comming from outside is very present in the room even with closed windows even from the 29th floor.
So many sirens from firetrucks and ambulance, you will need earplugs.
I, however, need to say the room is very clean and we got great reviews about the reception who are ready to help.

Stayed here while family member was at St Paul’s for surgery. Can’t get more convenient as a 3 minute walk to hospital. I added an extra night through a booking app and staff noticed the second booking and had already arranged for me to stay in the same room and extended my parking. I appreciated the personal attention. I would stay here again, just to enjoy the downtown! The view of the ocean is spectacular.

My family and I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet. The balaconies are big and the windows bring a lot of natural light into the rooms. I love that the windows open and you can have access to fresh air. There is a lot of emergency vehicles and Sirens at all time of day and night due to the hospital next door but that didn't bother me if the windows were shut. Everything we wanted to see or do was within walking distance and public transport station was close if we needed when we wanted to go to the airport and science centre

The beds and pillows are unbelievably comfortable, the kitchen is a nice feature, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Sehaj, Brijesh, Mary, Zeenhan, Beth, and Suzanna (from CPrime) as well as housekeeping all went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. I was especially grateful for Brijesh who personally made me feel valued and respected during my stay.

The only things I wish I could change are more cooking utensils and a bowl in suites, hot water was sparse near check out hours, and there were at times long waits for elevators.

Things that were spectactual were thecommercial Nespresso machine in room, full kitchen incuding stove and oven, classy decor in rooms, impeccably clean spaces, large balcony, on site restaurant, on site coffee shop, and hospitable staff and front door personnel.

The Century Plaza hotel is a great place to stay if you want to be in a centralized location in downtown Vancouver. The hotel rooms are spacious and always clean. The hotel is located adjacent to St Paul’s Hospital so if you are a light sleeper then this may not be the hotel for you. We actually enjoy the noise as it helps us to sleep. There are multiple restaurants and pubs within a 2-15 minute walk from the hotel. Samer and his team of front desk agents are always happy to help and do what they can for you to have the best stay possible. There are 2 churches right next door to the hotel with one being the Wesley United Cathedral and the other being the First Baptist Cathedral. Shopping can be done on nearby Davie Street, Robson and Granville. Gerry, the Concierge is there to help answer any questions about the area and to assist with booking activities. The bellhops are right there to welcome you to the property and assist with your luggage and always open the door whether it is an Uber, personal vehicle or a taxi. They are friendly and in fact the entire staff are super friendly. This is the only hotel that we have stayed at where the staff are consistent in greeting you even if it is a wave or a nod from afar. There are a total of 30 floors of rooms available. Are you looking to have a great breakfast or how about an in house 45 or 60 day aged New York Stiploin, Australian Wagyu steaks, Ribeye, Tomahawk steaks and pasta are just some of the items on their dinner menu. The CPrime restaurant is the best steakhouse in the city! I highly recommend this property for any stays in Vancouver.

The restaurant is great for japanese food. I liked the food called 'Ebi Mayo' and the prawns are juicy. Loved it! Other items are also really good.

I've been coming to Guu Garden for many years now, and am amazed at their ability to change their menu regularly to incorporate seasonal fare, while maintaining a few delicious staples.

This location in particular does an amazing New Years lunch set that they have also changed nearly every year (this year it featured a huge lobster tail as the highlight).

The location is also wonderful, especially in the summertime when the rooftop patio seating is available. Due to the size of the surrounding buildings, and the less than obvious route to get there, it always feels like a bit of a secret location.

Awesome food and was able to squeeze us in even with several Christmas parties taking place that night! Amazing staff

One of my favourite places in Vancouver for drinks and small tapas. Love the grilled pork cheek and salmon neck. Eggplant dish is a MUST!
