Reviews
Hotel has beautiful pool which is open from 8.00am till 22.00
Big rooms with all amenities, ice available on each floor
The location is excellent, the view was stunning, and the room was clean. However, there were several issues during my stay. The parking stalls were very tight and the parking was paid. Room service was also disappointing. My order arrived with a missing item and when it was eventually delivered over 15 minutes later, it was cold and I was charged an additional fee.
There were also maintenance issues during my stay. The shower made a loud noise and the cold tap in the sink flooded the counter when used. The walls were not well soundproofed and I could hear karaoke from a neighbouring room after midnight.
For 300 dollars per night, these issues were unexpected. I reported them at checkout and was assured they would be addressed, so I am willing to give the hotel another chance on my next visit.
The selection consisted primarily of low-quality items, resulting in a poor overall value proposition.
In my opinion, the nearby McDonald’s offers a more satisfying meal at a fraction of the cost.
I would strongly advise against spending your money here.
stars.
Pro: views are beautiful. Rooms are nice.Quick check, check out. Nice location.
Con: Parking, very tight stalls, you pay to park. Room service wasn't the greatest. I ordered off the menu, they delivered without an item, called for them to bring it up took 10 mins and was delivered cold, and additional fees added on to room service.
The only issue was the bathroom, when we took a shower we found the water was not that warm, which made the kid feel uncomfortable and unwilling to take the shower.
Overall, we strongly recommend this hotel. We will definitely visit again next time when we are in Vancouver.
Right off the bat, the location is a huge win. Being able to take the SkyTrain directly from the airport to Waterfront Station and walk a few buildings over to the hotel was a godsend. Compared to getting off at Yaletown or City Centre and doing a 10–15 minute walk to places like the Wall Centre, this made arrival effortless.
Check-in was equally smooth. I was greeted by Ken at the front desk, who was excellent. We hit a small snag with the promotion details and instead of keeping me waiting while he sorted it out, he simply handed me my key and assured me he’d take care of everything. That prioritization (getting the guest settled first) really stood out for me. I was also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a Premier King (City View) to an Executive King with a harbour view.
The room itself was stunning. I’m not sure what others meant by “dated”, I found the room to be very well maintained and no more “old” than the Wall Centre. The Executive King room was bigger than expected, with a beautiful curved window running the full length of the room and overlooking the harbour. I loved waking up to that view every morning.
Housekeeping was also excellent. They seemed to know exactly when I’d stepped out and were incredibly attentive (no need to call or hang a sign) and the room was always refreshed promptly. That level of awareness and consistency is something many hotels struggle with, and Pan Pacific clearly has it dialed in.
One small thing worth noting for prospective guests: seaplanes do take off from the harbour regularly throughout the day. The engine noise lasts only a minute or two each time, but it’s noticeable. If you’re working from the room or on calls, it’s something to be aware of. That said, it didn’t detract from my stay, and I genuinely enjoyed working from the room.
Overall, this was a very comfortable, well-run stay, and the service (especially at check-in) left a strong impression. I’d happily return and would absolutely consider Pan Pacific again for future Vancouver trips.

I had their "Big Breakfast", which gets you scrambled eggs, toast, roasted potatoes, and your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. All of this for $15. I got the sausage, and everything was simply alright. I wasn't blown away by anything - it struck me as a similar quality to Denny's, where I would have got more food for less money.
My girlfriend had the classic Eggs Benedict, which is supposedly one of their signature dishes. It was initially cooked too much and had to be sent back. Upon the second attempt, the hollandaise had a strange, almost sour tang to it. While it was tasty, how anyone could say that was the "best eggs Benedict in Vancouver" is beyond me.
The service was fairly prompt, and the host was very friendly, but overall, I cant say I was too impressed, and I don't see myself going back.
