Beautiful, cozy B&B in the heart of Ottowa, a beautiful old brick house, a small hotel that also has a family touch thanks to the hostess. The rooms are tastefully furnished and still offer all the comforts. In the bathroom I found everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable.

I had a great stay at Rideau Inn. Its location is super convenient, with great dining options within 5-10 mins walking.
The room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned.
Lucie is a wonderful caretaker. Definitely recommend!

Very quaint, extremely clean! It felt like home away from home. Lucy was a wonderful host. I will go back again whenever I am in Ottawa.

There was no functioning wifi and no hot water despite running the tap for minutes on end. The building is an old house made into an inn. The tv was tiny and had only a few cable channels with Nothing I wanted to watch. I paid $200 per night plus taxes for this!! $100 per night would have been a stretch. And “breakfast” was minimal and cost $2 - I skipped that. How is this listed as a “three star” accommodation?????? I am very disappointed.

The owners need to be clear - there is parking on the property but it is extra - $10.

A heritage house with all the heritage house charms. And the Manx Pub a minute away. A delightful find of Ontario beers and lamb curry, and many vegetarian options. A lovely spot, clean, convenient, and charming. I’ll stay again.

Excellent stay in August 2024. Beautiful century home. Great continental breakfast. Had room on 3rd floor. Very comfortable. Clean. Good bed. Shower was excellent. The location is perfect. Close to Elgin Street restaurants. Walking distance to downtown Ottawa. Lucie is very nice. We will be back. Highly recommended

My stay at the Rideau Inn was fantastic. All the amenities my room bathroom and common spaces were comfortable warm and inviting. From when you enter you feel at home. Very clean, well organized. The owner Lucy was attentive to my needs.
The location was perfect (in front of a parc and close to restaurants and pubs, walking distance from city hall)
There’s a bike path just the street above and it’s very easy to get around.
Parking is tight though, I parked at the Nature museum which was walking distance from the place. But if you have a small car, there is parking in the back of the inn.
So I would definitely recommend this place. I came for the Ottawa marathon and the Rideau Inn hit the mark in comfort, logistics and home away from home :)

When it's good, it's very good for North of the border Mexican. Unfortunately, quality of food, even for the same dish, can change from one time to another. This especially applies to their mole sauces.

I've been going to Pancho for the past 8 years. Never disappoints. Serving sizes are generous and the service is fast and friendly.

B+ level food with small touches that put it over the top. Would give it 4 stars, but gotta offset the haters.
Request their jalapeno sauce, it is staggeringly good.
Dined with a few gluten-free types and they found their gluten free options accurate and delicious.

Love Pancho Villa. I've been going here for 8 years. The servers are experienced and nice. I love that it tastes like real home cooking. The patio is also a huge bonus.

A very nice place, with delicious nachos and beer. They have a special menu for half price appetizers if you buy a drink which is totally worth it, however, it is only available a few hours a day. I think it is from 4-5:30 pm and 10pm-12am.

My husband chose Fox and feather as our weekly date night spot this week. I have to say that I was a little disappointed of the lack of ‘male eye candy’ waiters.....I know what you’re thinking.. she’s married. Hey- -Hey I can still look! Any who, my husband took a particular liking, to our waitress, Morgan... which I have to say RARELY happens. She was lovely.. quite cute, bright and had a good sense of humour. She served us two steak specials, they were cooked to perfection! I have to say my husband and I were pleasantly surprised - quality and quantity! Thanks, Fox and feather and our waitress, Morgan for the lovely efficient service!

Comfortable and clean, this charming pub has an excellent and affordable ribeye special and steak with shrimp that was cooked to our specifications but it was cold when we got it. Baked potato and fresh vegetables were cooked to perfection but there was not enough butter, no chives or bacon bits which would have rated this meal with a 4.

I enjoyed my visit here in August 2017. There was an extremely cute waiter there that, I am pretty sure, was into me. At least, he convinced me as much and earned himself a big tip and my phone number. He never called. I felt a little used, but that's okay. Good times were had. The food was good. I drank heavily. I don't remember much after my third trip to the bathroom.
