My wife and I spent the night and had a lovely day. We felt very welcomed by Jsson and the end has old charm and is very very well maintained. It is a very old building So expect some imperfections But they’re more than made up for in other ways parking was $10, which is reasonable in the area and the value of their offering is high. They accommodated an early check-in request easily and without any problems. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

Everything about the McGee Inn was perfect. It is a beautiful house furnished in period style. The staff was very accommodating and they thought of everything. Our room had big windows and the temperature during some very cold days was very comfortable. Breakfast was divine and very soothing classical music was played while we ate. The Inn is close to the Rideau Canal and walking distance to everything else we wanted to see and do. We had a working FIREPLACE in our spacious bedroom and the staff furnished us with a duraflame log to burn each night. My husband and I had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I was amazed at the affordable price considering the level of comfort and service. We would love to visit again!

A gem of a place.

Beautiful Victorian home decorated with exquisite taste. Mid December, it was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. Like a warm hug when you came through the door!

Family run, everyone was welcoming & helpful. Breakfasts were truly excellent - try the banana & strawberry crepes made by Holly.

Our room was spacious & we had a real fire, quite the treat. Tea & coffee available 24/7 in the lounge.

We had a wonderful stay, hotel is very central for downtown - 15 minute walk along Rideau takes you to the NAC, Byward Market etc. A few minutes more to Parliament Hill. (We are in our 60s).

Definitely a 5 star experience for us.

As always, excellent stay. Breakfast was amazing, room was spotless, staff was lovely. 10 minute walk to Parliament buildings and all the sites. The only place we will stay while in Ottawa.

Lovely inn, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed. We were aware prior to our visit that there were stairs but we had to lug our suitcases up a LOT of stairs.

Lovely heritage venue. A bit loud outside after dark. Third floor room 22 with enclosed balcony was nice (it’s also the fire escape for the entire floor). A little unusual having the washroom outside the bedroom, but you know that when you book. Delicious breakfast, very cool interior in the hallways and the rooms!

You won’t find a better place to stay. This is a truly stunning historic home filled with character and atmosphere. I fell in love with every detail and enjoyed every moment spent here. Even though we arrived late, the hosts provided clear instructions and we were able to settle in comfortably. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast. The rooms were cozy and spotlessly clean, and despite the respectable age of the house, it was warm, quiet, and incredibly peaceful to sleep. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! We will definitely be back.

Good in a pinch, shame about their chicken being only 50% chicken and the rest soy based. The seating chairs are uncomfortably high and when the sun shines in in the mornings it can get uncomfortably hot but if you like subway this is fine, there's rarely a line and you can have cherry/ vanilla coke.

Never going here again, very rude gentelman bad comunication and customer service I ordered a bagel and coffee in the morning on top of that (im the only customer here) and repeat my simple order to avoid mixups or confusions leading to experiences like this he just totally ignored what I asked for and forced stuff on me I said no thanks and charged me money for an item I said no three + times I'm saying no to the cashier again very clearly. All in all I will never go to any Timothys franchise ever again!! I feel like I'm very been scammed . Bear in mind this was based on my personal experience here I will definitely never be coming back again. Hope this mazy help other happy goat coffee shop is my recommendation for this area
