The hotel is great, and the location is superb, right next to Parliament Hill. The biggest issue is the parking fee, which is over $60 plus tax per night. It's just too expensive.

Arrived and was so impressed with front lobby and staff. Albertina was wonderful and able to get us checked in early so we were able to drop bags in our room. Met Catherine who gave us a private tour - so wonderful to meet and spend time with her! Room was spacious and clean, we all thought the beds were outstanding. Great location, can walk everywhere, and is very close to the canal and other major attractions. Staff were very friendly, respectful, and helpful. Beautiful historic decor... totally awesome. Restaurant/Dining lounge menu may not be to all tastes, but there are multiple choice close by, including Milestones (next door), and the market square area. Was an enjoyable experience.

I recently stayed at the Lord Elgin for five nights and, unfortunately, my experience with the service left a lot to be desired. There seems to be a noticeable lack of staff training and attentiveness. Upon arrival, there was no liquid soap in the room, and I had to request it to be refilled rather than it being properly checked beforehand. I had the most wonderful stay here! The accommodations are very comfortable and every team member was welcoming, but a special shoutout to Bich! It's a decent hotel. We had issues with the door key not working multiple times and there was not enough towels in the room for the four of us.

Hotel name has changed to Plaza Hotel. Room is good size. Fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast buffet available for about $15 per person. It was decent. Front staff Friendly. Parking garage avaliable for $14 per day. Automatic door, can come and go as you please.

The room was a bit old and the breakfast was just okay. It was nice to have a microwave, even though I didn't use it. Towels were only changed and the room cleaned every two days. The location is convenient, right off the highway.

Hampton Inn is our go to hotel, it is clean, good breakfast food and they offer 24/7 coffee at the lobby! Worth the money!

The room was very spacious. The third photo shows the breakfast area. I didn't find the breakfast as plentiful as I expected, but it was sufficient and tasted good. The hotel is a convenient 15-minute walk from the train station. Overall, it was pretty good.

The rooms were super cute and the staff was amazing. The weirdest part was the celling was unfinished. Drywall and putty exposed. Even in the bathroom. I can see this having a mold issue if not dealt with in the near future.

Okay. I rarely leave reviews — but I don’t know how more people aren’t talking about these 2 main things. 1. Their “queen beds” are not Queen beds. They are doubles. The gaslighting on this one is real. 2. The lights in the room are ALL on ONE light switch. All of them. There I only big lights, and the bathroom light is equally as offensive. I'm usually a huge fan of the Alt as I've stayed in a few locations. Surprised there is NO parking at this location, especially considering the price tag per room and the deep winter cold of Ottawa in the winter. Didn't make sense to me. The room was cozy, well appointed, with stylish finishings and amenities. Beds were very comfortable service was friendly and professional. Bar/restaurant was also nice for a drink.

After a long week on the road I went down Sat morning for breakfast. The 3 young ladies were in the weeds with only 6 tables. Very clean, quiet hotel. Beds are super comfy. Has a resto for breakfast, dinner - convenient if you are trying to catch a show at the casino. Easy parking.

Very clean modern rooms. NO CARPETS in the rooms !!! We were in a suite and it was great and A LOT cheaper than the Hilton. We went to have cocktails with friends in their suite at the Hilton and we were glad to have chosen to stay at the Holiday Inn across the street from the casino.

I had a great stay at Rideau Inn. Its location is super convenient, with great dining options within 5-10 mins walking. The room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. Lucie is a wonderful caretaker. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful, cozy B&B in the heart of Ottowa, a beautiful old brick house, a small hotel that also has a family touch thanks to the hostess. The rooms are tastefully furnished and still offer all the comforts. In the bathroom I found everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable.

Reception staff was friendly. Room was clean. It was dated but also so much better than expected. The heat worked well. We turned it down to 19c to sleep and slept well. It was a real jail, so don't expect comfort and fancy stuffs. The location it's very convient, everything is walking distance. The staff have a lot of good recommendations for food and for visit. Great for the experience to stay in a prison! Perfect for solo travelers or in group of friends! You can parking there for 20 dollars extra, which is a fair fare. Breakfast included!
