Hotels in center in Ottawa

No warning was given on the items in the "Refreshment center" and mini fridge regarding the sensors which automatically charged your room once picked up (within 10-15 seconds to be exact)

The hotel is great, and the location is superb, right next to Parliament Hill. The biggest issue is the parking fee, which is over $60 plus tax per night. It's just too expensive.

Met Catherine who gave us a private tour - so wonderful to meet and spend time with her! Room was spacious and clean, we all thought the beds were outstanding

Good location. Room is not too big but good enough for a short stay.

Great location in a hundred-year-old castle. The service was warm and welcoming, which made for a very pleasant experience.

Arrived and was so impressed with front lobby and staff. Albertina was wonderful and able to get us checked in early so we were able to drop bags in our room

This is a review for hiring this venue for an event. We were so delighted to get to host our Globus Tours in the Trillium Ballroom. The venue was incredible and very adaptable to what we needed

I had the most wonderful stay here! The accommodations are very comfortable and every team member was welcoming, but a special shoutout to Bich! She went above and beyond providing me what I needed throughout my stay, and even surprised me with a small gift on my last day

The team took really good care of our guests and we were able to present easily and have a very engaging night with our group. Will definitely look at these guys immediately for our next venue needs in the area

Nothing to write about for the views out the window, but other than that it was a great stay

The hotel sends you a link before arrival so you can set up your account and check out was super easy. Overall I would ABSOLUTELY visit Ottawa again but with more time. I would also stay at this hotel again

The rooms were super cute and the staff was amazing. The weirdest part was the celling was unfinished. I can see this having a mold issue if not dealt with in the near future

Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel in terms of cozy bed, there is a 24/7 cafe/food vibe in the lobby. Centralish location, staff totally gaslights you about the bed sizes

Great hotel right downtown Ottawa. I recommend this place because of great customer service and the suite I stayed in was very good

Oh and if you are sharing with someone you don’t want seeing you naked, you need a room with 2 beds, otherwise there’s a glass wall between the bedroom and shower that’s visible — and when you turn in the bathroom lights, the whole room gets lit up

After a long week on the road I went down Sat morning for breakfast. The 3 young ladies were in the weeds with only 6 tables

5/5 Great location only minutes from Rideau Center or the clubs of the byward market. 5/5 Food was delicious ordered room service. It comes from the hotels restaurant. 5/5 Overall 5/5 for this beautiful hotel

My husband has taken me to this hotel twice now, and it truly is a hidden gem! Every aspect of it radiates luxury — from the signature scents that greet you upon arrival to the elegant color palette and beautifully chosen furnishings that create a refined, romantic atmosphere

Went here on a whim for wife birthday. We both loved it right from the time we checked in. The vibe of the place is very well thought out. The colour's and perfectly seleted furniture and smells draw you in right away

Went back for the second time for a NYE celebration. They upgraded or room to a beautiful room(recommend 1401!!) This room has 1. Huge soaker tube, dual sink, heated floor in bathroom, giant shower

Once checkin was complete (only took a few minutes) off to the room. Very masculine room dark, well thought out colour scheme, great furniture. The lighting in the room was great

I was allowed to check-in at 1pm - that's rare in hospitality, and it's fantastic!!! If you have a small vehicle the $10 parking is worth it (small tight parking lot, so be mentally prepared to take it slow and carefully as you park)

I had a great stay at Rideau Inn. Its location is super convenient, with great dining options within 5-10 mins walking. The room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. Lucie is a wonderful caretaker

I loved my quaint and spacious room and the location of Rideau Inn, right next to the hotspots on Elgin Street and only a 20-minute walk from Parliament Hill! The bathroom was not located in the room I stayed in, but out in the hallway, which didn't bother me in the slightest

A heritage house with all the heritage house charms. And the Manx Pub a minute away. A delightful find of Ontario beers and lamb curry, and many vegetarian options. A lovely spot, clean, convenient, and charming

Beautiful, cozy B&B in the heart of Ottowa, a beautiful old brick house, a small hotel that also has a family touch thanks to the hostess. The rooms are tastefully furnished and still offer all the comforts

The Inn is close to the Rideau Canal and walking distance to everything else we wanted to see and do. We had a working FIREPLACE in our spacious bedroom and the staff furnished us with a duraflame log to burn each night

Beautiful Victorian home decorated with exquisite taste. Mid December, it was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. Like a warm hug when you came through the door! Family run, everyone was welcoming & helpful

My husband and I had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I was amazed at the affordable price considering the level of comfort and service. We would love to visit again!

Breakfasts were truly excellent - try the banana & strawberry crepes made by Holly. Our room was spacious & we had a real fire, quite the treat. Tea & coffee available 24/7 in the lounge

We had a wonderful stay, hotel is very central for downtown - 15 minute walk along Rideau takes you to the NAC, Byward Market etc. A few minutes more to Parliament Hill. Definitely a 5 star experience for us

The hot breakfast gave me lots of choices and I felt like I was getting private service. Fortunately the Inn is really close to Byward Market and I ate dinner there almost every night

The daily housekeeping was excellent as well. We were very impressed and will definitely return. Strongly recommend this motel for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay with reasonable price!

The room smelled fresh—not a trace of odors—and it was spotless throughout. The kitchen was also perfectly clean and fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, dishes, pots, and cutlery

It made preparing meals easy and pleasant. The location couldn't be better. Within 4 mins drive, you have Costco, Dollarama, and major shopping mall making everything incredibly convenient

It is a surprisingly good place to stay. The reception is very warm welcoming, our room key was prepared in advance and the check in is very quick. The room (the suite) is very big, clean and with all kinds of amenities

The room was very clean, excellent amenities, quiet location. Staff were cordial.

All the people at the desk were very willing to help and inform. The area and room was well kept, but, the fridge and microwave power was turned off and the TV cable connection was also unplugged

The bunks were exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and from what I've seen lights off seems to be at around 11? 12? The breakfast is what you'd expect but for 33$ à night (that's what I paid) I will not complain! The tour was my favourite part! It's just spooky enough to be fun! Next time im in Ottawa I will be staying again

What a great experience we had here. It's in a perfect spot to enjoy the market area when not enjoying the jail itself. It had its own paid private parking lot which was awesome. Everything was so clean and comfortable

Stayed here for my first time while visiting Ottawa. The service was great, rooms were clean. We stayed in a 8 bed female dorm. Highly recommend taking the free jail tour

Absolutely amazing stay! It's perfectly located, historical and simply just a whole lot of fun! I stayed on the ninth floor and if you know anything about the place you'll know that's a workout at they kept the original stairs from when this was a jail

I had a great stay at the Saintlo Jail Hostel in Ottawa and would happily recommend it. The staff were genuinely wonderful, fresh, friendly, and very helpful. Check-in and check-out were super fast and smooth

Another staff member helped me find a USB cable when I needed one, which I really appreciated. Overall, a unique experience with great staff, excellent cleanliness, and an unbeatable location
