A classic and timeless elegant hotel in the heart of Ottawa. So much beautiful architecture and history coupled with professional staff make this a bucket list worthy place to stay

The hotel is great, and the location is superb, right next to Parliament Hill. The biggest issue is the parking fee, which is over $60 plus tax per night. It's just too expensive.

Good location. Room is not too big but good enough for a short stay.

Met Catherine who gave us a private tour - so wonderful to meet and spend time with her! Room was spacious and clean, we all thought the beds were outstanding

Architecture and location was very nice. The service at Zoe's Lounge was excellent and the waiter was very nice. However, the pricing on just about everything was absurd

Great location in a hundred-year-old castle. The service was warm and welcoming, which made for a very pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful experience at the Lord Elgin for our wedding and related block booking. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and most importantly kind and patient

I recently stayed at the Lord Elgin for five nights and, unfortunately, my experience with the service left a lot to be desired. There seems to be a noticeable lack of staff training and attentiveness

We had a great stay at the Lord Elgin hotel, the location is excellent, and check in and out was easy. A simple, comfortable stay in Ottawa.

I had the most wonderful stay here! The accommodations are very comfortable and every team member was welcoming, but a special shoutout to Bich! She went above and beyond providing me what I needed throughout my stay, and even surprised me with a small gift on my last day

The team went above and beyond to make our stay special - they surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, a handwritten anniversary card (such a sweet touch!), and even a complimentary cheesecake that completely made our day

Nothing to write about for the views out the window, but other than that it was a great stay

The hotel sends you a link before arrival so you can set up your account and check out was super easy. Overall I would ABSOLUTELY visit Ottawa again but with more time. I would also stay at this hotel again

The rooms were super cute and the staff was amazing. The weirdest part was the celling was unfinished. I can see this having a mold issue if not dealt with in the near future

Great hotel right downtown Ottawa. I recommend this place because of great customer service and the suite I stayed in was very good

Oh and if you are sharing with someone you don’t want seeing you naked, you need a room with 2 beds, otherwise there’s a glass wall between the bedroom and shower that’s visible — and when you turn in the bathroom lights, the whole room gets lit up

Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel in terms of cozy bed, there is a 24/7 cafe/food vibe in the lobby. Centralish location, staff totally gaslights you about the bed sizes

After a long week on the road I went down Sat morning for breakfast. The 3 young ladies were in the weeds with only 6 tables

My husband has taken me to this hotel twice now, and it truly is a hidden gem! Every aspect of it radiates luxury — from the signature scents that greet you upon arrival to the elegant color palette and beautifully chosen furnishings that create a refined, romantic atmosphere

Went here on a whim for wife birthday. We both loved it right from the time we checked in. The vibe of the place is very well thought out. The colour's and perfectly seleted furniture and smells draw you in right away

5/5 Great location only minutes from Rideau Center or the clubs of the byward market. 5/5 Food was delicious ordered room service. It comes from the hotels restaurant. 5/5 Overall 5/5 for this beautiful hotel

Went back for the second time for a NYE celebration. They upgraded or room to a beautiful room(recommend 1401!!) This room has 1. Huge soaker tube, dual sink, heated floor in bathroom, giant shower

Once checkin was complete (only took a few minutes) off to the room. Very masculine room dark, well thought out colour scheme, great furniture. The lighting in the room was great

Overall good stay. Will come back again.

We went to have cocktails with friends in their suite at the Hilton and we were glad to have chosen to stay at the Holiday Inn across the street from the casino

Except that everything else wass very good, rooms are big and clean, spacious and have nice utilities such as mini fridge and a microwave and a safe /ironing board. The bathroom was very clean as well

Very clean, quiet hotel. Beds are super comfy. Has a resto for breakfast, dinner - convenient if you are trying to catch a show at the casino. Easy parking.

It is very clean hotel. Feels like recently renovated. Good location in Gatineau. Closed to ****** and many restaurant.

NO CARPETS in the rooms !!! We were in a suite and it was great and A LOT cheaper than the Hilton

Breakfasts were truly excellent - try the banana & strawberry crepes made by Holly. Our room was spacious & we had a real fire, quite the treat. Tea & coffee available 24/7 in the lounge

The Inn is close to the Rideau Canal and walking distance to everything else we wanted to see and do. We had a working FIREPLACE in our spacious bedroom and the staff furnished us with a duraflame log to burn each night

Beautiful Victorian home decorated with exquisite taste. Mid December, it was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. Like a warm hug when you came through the door! Family run, everyone was welcoming & helpful

My husband and I had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I was amazed at the affordable price considering the level of comfort and service. We would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay, hotel is very central for downtown - 15 minute walk along Rideau takes you to the NAC, Byward Market etc. A few minutes more to Parliament Hill. Definitely a 5 star experience for us

Parking is only $10 and on site which was very convienient. The breakfast here is INCREDIBLE. The crepes were the best I've ever had (see photo), and the omelette very well done as well

Best part of all, it's an official Bed and Breakfast, not a shady Airbnb "ghost hotel" that takes away housing stock from Ottawa locals

A heritage house with all the heritage house charms. And the Manx Pub a minute away. A delightful find of Ontario beers and lamb curry, and many vegetarian options. A lovely spot, clean, convenient, and charming
