The room is very spacious and the service is very thoughtful. They took the initiative to upgrade the room. The hotel facilities are indeed old, and the air conditioners are old. The sound insulation is average. The location is very good. Capitol Hill is next door.

The view from my room was fantastic. It was a spacious, comfortable suite. I booked it partly for the kitchenette, and was disappointed that nothing was provided in that kitchenette. No dishes, cutlery or glassware. This defeated the purpose of having a kitchen. The hotel is very convenient for using the transit system.
Nice place to stay. Pool is nice. Stayed for a hockey tournament, kids ran the whole floor. Parents were able to order pizza locally and eat in the hall. That was good since the resto at the hotel could not accomodate the 30 of us on such short notice.(Not a complaint, just suggest if you are going to, make a reservation early so they know your coming)
Nice welcoming lobby with a beautiful fountain/garden display. Took very long to check in as there was only one desk worker. Beds were more on the firm side which is alright, I slept pretty well and that's the most important part to me. The beds seemed a bit old and we're very squeaky, just getting in and out of them sounded comical. Overall not too bad.
Large suite, nice rooms. Hotel is a little old and needs renovations.. underground parking is very sketchy and creepy. The parking spots are very small as well. Its a decent place to stay when downtown Ottawa is fully booked, it's closed to the war museum and nice parks.
This is a really good property! The location is great to Ottawa but at the same time it gets you away from all the busyness of the city. The staff is great I gave them a bit of a hard time about parking and they had all the patience in the world. When I realized I was wrong I apologize profusely but they were very good about it. The hotel is clean, modern, and nicely situated. The grounds are lovely and include a patio/garden area outside. The room is larger than I thought it would be but otherwise just as expected. This is a nice property. Well located and nicely appointed with a good atmosphere. Obviously not high end but a good experience overall.
Lots of homeless people around the hotel and no parking available. I had to parc at the neighbouring Arc hotel which felt unsafe at night, alone with my kids.
Crisp Linens Comfy Bed I was pleasantly surprised on how laidback this hotel vibe is. Perfect for our 2 night stay for a business Convention. We liked the room and the modern decor , only wish it was a King size bed. The bes is comfy, sheets and towels are like new, luv. It's a minimalist dream, LOL.

We have stayed in this location over 5 times, and are always pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. Loved the hotel, the location, the breakfast! ( though they could have more fruit). It has kitchen, laundry room and pool, so very family oriented. I went with my 3 kids and we had a great time. The staff is also very kind and friendly.
Wonderful staff, and nice amenities. Only wish it had cheaper breakfast options for adults, but at least kids eat free. Grafittis was an excellent place to eat, the staff were awesome. My little one loved the cooks. Great potion sizes, and fresh homemade food.

The room is quite big but the design is not reasonable. The bed and pillows are quite comfortable. The only drawback is the water pressure. After ten minutes of waiting for the water to heat up, the water pressure suddenly increases and it becomes impossible to wash! I was pleasantly surprised by my room, it's very beautiful, clean and well maintained. I can't comment too much on location as it's my first day. Service is lovely overall. However, I'm an English speaker and I did experience some slight attitide for not speaking French. Still recommend this hotel.

It is a surprisingly good place to stay. The reception is very warm welcoming, our room key was prepared in advance and the check in is very quick. The room (the suite) is very big, clean and with all kinds of amenities. The only thing one may concern is that the room decoration is a little old, however not a problem at all.

Great rooms, very clean. The man behind the counter was odd and refused to extend our checkout time. Other than that it was perfect.
When you book an independent motel, you aren't booking a big chain, recognize the difference and you will be very happy. Stayed for a few days in one of the suites, little dated but roomy, well maintained. Every suite has a little covered patio area. Didn't try the pool but it looked clean.
I like the layout I like the ease at which I could change my reservation midday and I like that I was able to do a cash deposit after my return visit that was very convenient for me
The rooms, are not bad, but some the employees are rude, I had made reservations a week in advance, only to find out they had given away my room, and when I tried to get some answers they hung up on me.

Hair dryer didn’t work, only one towel for two people, soap and shampoo dispenser (don’t know what you’re getting). Location OK, office staff friendly.
Staff are professional. Facilities, while quite well maintained, are a bit dated and need a bit of updating. I found a constant droning sound in the bathroom a bit disturbing. But, overall, decent accommodation
I love staying here in this motel. It’s got a beautiful outside yard and is well kept. The staff are kind and it’s easily accessible to amenities and restaurants.
