This is our second time staying here. The hospitality is absolutely wonderful. Every staff member is wonderful to interact with and so helpful. The pool is dreamy and such a nice perk. The rooms are quiet and comfy. The location cannot be beat. I miss it already. Thanks Hotel BonAdventure for a wonderful trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bonaventure. The hotel is on the 10th floor of Place Bonaventure with underground parking which is super convenient. The heated outdoor pool was amazing to relax in. It was a very popular spot! We ate in the dining room a couple of times and enjoyed the food both times! Rooms are large, king bed was comfortable and our view of the duck pond was great! Felt like we were in a rural setting, not downtown Montreal! I highly recommend this hotel!!

We reserved a more expensive king room a very long time ago, but finally we got a double bed room on our first day without any refund, what we got is only complementary breakfast, for a couple it’s extremely bad experience.

We ask for daily cleaning and I do remind the staff at the front desk before I leave the room for journey on a day, but we found that the cleaning lady forget cleaning the room and the lady pass the buck that we put the do not disturb sign at the door handler which is not the FACT!

Also we are care about safe at lobby, but we do found tramp coming lobby for a free coffee at self serve coffee machine, hotel need to address this serious problem as soon as possible, I sincerely hope the hotel can read this review seriously and understand my disappointment.

Great hotel. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Common areas including pool are just excellent. Great staff. Location could not be better. Absolutely worth the price IMO.

Only suggestion is that they improve their signage for access from the Metro - I think the opening of the REM might have changed routes (corridors in the underground path networj) that are open. After three days we still had not worked it out.

We stayed there last summer.Beautiful view, location is very convenient. Services are great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby was very well organized and decorated. Pool facilities were clean. Staff was very polite and professional. Definitely going back and would recommend to our family and friends.

So clean and easy to commute from. Very central. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Outdoor spa was very nice!

I want to give this place a 5 star because people there were so nice with an exception of a few annoyances.

The Expedia listing said in-room microwave. I went to front desk to inquire and the old guy said “I’ve worked here 20 years we don’t do that”. He had no inclination of being helpful. Went to the lady next to him and she sent a microwave to the room. Everyone was so pleasant except for him.

The parking is expensive with no in/out privileges. I already paid $29. Don’t charge me twice if I have to leave and come back. That’s just blatantly anti consumer.

The indoor entrance into the pool is in the deep end. It’s really deep. Difficult to bring my kid to the shallow end.

Hotel Bonaventure efor the price, there isn’t much to complain about.

The biggest advantage is definitely the location. The hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall and the Montreal underground city, which makes getting around extremely convenient—especially in winter. You can access shops, food courts, and public transit without ever needing to go outside, which is a huge plus.

Overall, it’s a practical choice with an excellent location. If convenience is a priority and you’re looking for reasonable value rather than luxury, this hotel does the job well.

I had an amazing experience at Hotel Bonaventure from start to finish. The service was exceptional throughout my stay, and I want to give special recognition to Vincent at the front desk. He was incredibly patient and attentive, making me feel welcome right away and leaving me with a fantastic first impression of the hotel.

The facilities are top-notch — the heated pool is absolutely incredible, and the sauna and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a long day. My room was spacious and very comfortable, with a cozy king-size bed that made it easy to get a great night's sleep.

Another big plus is the hotel's location. It's very well situated and conveniently connected to the underground, which made getting around the city a breeze.

I highly recommend Hotel Bonaventure and would definitely stay here again!
