Monville is my goto currently. I was in 714. Love the upper floor rooms, the gym is great, breakfast offers a lot of options. The staff I dealt with was nice to very nice. Was able to get more coffee capsules but the desk person was a bit rude, which was surprising since they are typically so nice. Forgot my valet cards for the Tesla so I had to park my car myself under the Humanity(sp?) hotel/condos… In the end it’s much cheaper so turned out to be fine! The room cleaning staff was so nice and charming, always good to see them in the morning. Location is great: Avril for groceries, Neo Tokyo for Ramen, peruvian fusion place just a bit higher on Bleury, walking distance from old Montreal. See you soon! Oh! there is also a charge station in front of the hotel and in the Humanity garage. The street noise can be an issue, especially during winter, bring ear plugs or use a whitenoise app on your phone.

Exceptional. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels. This one- wow. Top notch service from check in to check out, from every single staff person. Valet, front desk, housekeeping, bartend, everyone was so awesome! My room was basic but everything worked well, it had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay, I even opted to stay in one night instead of going out just to enjoy the room and property. Central to everything you need in Montreal. Can't wait to return!

My stay at Hotel Monville in Montreal was truly exceptional. I booked the hotel because of its outstanding reputation, and I quickly realized that it fully deserves every bit of that praise.

The location is simply perfect. The hotel sits in a strategic area close to everything you might need. There are countless restaurants and cafés just steps away, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. It is also directly next to the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, which makes it especially convenient for conferences and business events.

What truly elevated the experience was the remarkable hospitality of the reception team. Charlie and Naomi were exceptionally professional, warm, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with genuine kindness and efficiency, making every interaction pleasant and effortless.

The lobby is elegant, comfortable, and beautifully organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms are immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and offer stunning views that add to the overall charm of the stay.

I stayed at Hotel Monville for two weeks, and throughout that time I genuinely felt at home. The combination of outstanding service, excellent location, and refined comfort made my stay unforgettable.

Without hesitation, I highly recommend Hotel Monville to anyone visiting Montreal. It is truly a five-star experience.

Hotel Monville will undoubtedly be my preferred place to stay every time I visit Montreal, and I will certainly recommend it to my colleagues and family as well.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Monville Hotel in Montreal! I made my reservation directly through Abir and her team, and from the very beginning everything was seamless and professional.

From the warm welcome upon arrival to the valet taking great care of our vehicle, every detail was handled perfectly. Our room was exactly what we were hoping for, simple yet very modern, spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including great coffee!

During our stay, we needed a few additional items, and all it took was a quick call to reception. Within minutes, everything was delivered to our room, fast, friendly, and efficient service that truly stood out!

The level of hospitality and attention to detail made this experience exceptional. I cannot recommend this hotel and its team highly enough. I will definitely be staying at Monville Hotel again the next time I’m looking for a place to stay in Montreal!

We loved our stay at Hotel Monville. We arrived early and the staff was kind enough to assist us with an early check in. The gym at this hotel is fully equipped--treadmills, dumbbells, machines. The only thing missing is a squat rack, but that's to be expected.

The breakfast buffet was included in our room fee, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety. Fresh fruit, sausage/bacon, eggs, waffles/pancakes, toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee... the list goes on and on.

The location was slightly less than ideal for us as we spent most of our time in Plateau/Mile End (but had no problem getting around with Lyft/Uber).

All in all we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend!

Great experience

King bed was nice and comfortable. Room on the smaller side. Customer service was lacklustre - made it feel more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star.

Reception at check in was totally robotic, the lady had no intention to service. The room was claimed to 22sq.ft but actually felt smaller, like a 18sq.ft.. The shower and tap water was terribly weak. Breakfast offers almost no choice, only continental breakfast available.

There was a constant noise, I don't know if it was the sound of the water pipe, and the hotel couldn't provide a comb. But the location is pretty good.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Monville. The hotel location is convenient and close to the train station, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Daylight Factory is just one of those places that catches your eye. Always crowded, whether it's during lunch time or in the evenings.

I've been interesting in trying it for a while now. What I didn't expect was how disappointed I would be.

First, the menu service makes it hard when you are in a big group as they don't serve anything to nibble on and if you didn't order an entree there is some wait time till the main meal comes. While they have selection of wine and beers, they do not have one for non-alcoholic beverages (juice/soda). I expected the food to at least be amazing but my plate was rather salty, no nuances in taste... seems like something that was prepped, frozen and made by reheating.

I've been told that they are better in summer and with a changing menu it's likely that if I were to repeat I'll have better experience... however I was sorely disappointed on my first visit. I might go back just for the vibe and the friendly staff.

My own personal experience was garbage... I had alot of hair in my food I asked to have it looked over and the chef refused and said I was being rude..

We had a great time. My bavette steak was excellent and everyone else loved their meals as well. Service was perfect and the frites were fantastic (they keep bringing you more for free). Bringing our own wine was a great idea and brought the bill down ridiculously low. We all will be coming back here.

Great place. Service was excellent, prices were fair, and the food was great.

The food was extremely good. Great service as well! The only thing I found off was the atmosphere. There wasn't enough lights except at the table where you have your meal. I would still recommend this place. You will understand about the atmosphere when you go there on an evening.
