Hotel Plaza San Francisco in Santiago

I really enjoyed the hotel’s central location and it made getting around Santiago incredibly easy. The staff were a highlight of the stay, everyone was warm and welcoming, and a great breakfast each morning was a good way to start the day. A special thanks to Bastián at the Bristol bar, who was especially kind and attentive and truly made my evenings there memorable.
That said, the rooms could use some updating. The décor and bathroom fixtures felt quite dated, the curtains were dusty, and the sink didn’t drain properly during my stay. These issues took away a bit from what was otherwise a pleasant experience.
Overall, it’s a well-located hotel with wonderful people and good service, but some maintenance and room updates would really elevate the stay.

Beautiful hotel with old time luxury feel. Has doormen, and many staff always ready to help however they can.

We came very late, 1:14am due to flight delayed and the Conceirge was still opened for us and received a warm greetings. Breakfast has various food. We stayed for 2 nights and will come back to our next trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza San Francisco in Santiago. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable — exactly what we needed after weeks of travelling.

The hotel facilities were a real highlight. The pool, gym, and spa were fantastic and such a treat after being on the road for so long. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Breakfast each morning was amazing, with a huge variety of options. I may have indulged in a morning mimosa (included with breakfast!), which felt like a lovely holiday bonus. Both the bar and restaurant were excellent — ideal whether you’re after a quick drink and bite or a more substantial dinner.

Most of all, the staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The fact that the staff all spoke English was especially comforting after weeks of stumbling through Spanish.

We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santiago.

Very nice centrally located hotel. Our room was on the 8th floor with nice views over San Francisco Square and was very quiet. Breakfast provided was good as was the bar meal we ordered. The reception was a bit hectic when we arrived due to there being a conference at the hotel but staff coped very well handling all the luggage. Would choose this hotel again.

Facilities: The facilities are old, but very clean, and the surrounding area is prosperous, with commercial pedestrian streets and many restaurants. The breakfast is rich and clean, but there is no kettle.
