We loved our stay at Solace Hotel. Great amenities and the location is perfect in the Providencia area of Santiago. Modern rooms with all the amenities - we appreciated the free soft drinks and water. There is a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the pool was having some maintenance issues during our stay but we still enjoyed the surrounding patio with comfy loungers. We would definitely recommend this hotel to any travellers to Santiago. The included breakfast had lots of variety.

Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Good enough breakfast. Location is not so good if you will be taking cars in rush hour, but the Metro is very close…

* despite booking a ‘mountain view’ room I was advised this was not available. I found the advertising to be misleading and check in staff were indifferent to resolving this.
* wifi was unreliable and patchy in my room as well as on the roof
* I didn’t like how there was only a sheet over the mattress. I wouldn’t sleep like this on my own mattress, let alone one hundreds of others have slept on
* location is excellent, although the street is closed/no through road for construction and is often blocked by trucks
* rooftop is nice but small, limited shade and can get very busy. Pool is lap pool only and would be max 1.2m deep

Rooms smell, the room toilet take 4 attempts to flush, even after 3 complaints, and the pool area is dated. The pool is waist deep and cramped. Staff are friendly but have very little English. Good location and feels safe. Lots of cafes nearby for breakfast instead of paying in the hotel

When we check in, the room looks clean, but at night time the smell came from bathroom, it smelled awful. It made me feel want to vomited. I changed the room at last. I booked three nights, we stayed in this room for two nights, I can’t put up with the smell in the middle of nights, I went to reception to request for change a room, they kept telling me it happens sometimes, I hope they can fix up this problem.

Solace Hotel helped to make our Santiago trip memorable.

Our favorite feature was the free latte/coffee machine in the lobby. We frequented it often!

Everyone in the hotel is customer service focused. Most everyone speaks great english.
The front desk helped us with a late night transfer to the airport and kept our bags handy on checkout day.
We had a favorite waiter on the rooftop bar - he was a great conversationalist and server.

The view at the rooftop bar and pool is amazing and sitting in the lounge area is just so relaxing. It's really hard to not take pictures of the vistas!

Location is so convenient to hike San Cristóbal Hill and shop at Cenco Costanera, and the metro.

I tried to book Solace on the front end of our trip also, but they were booked. I'm glad we got to stay - we definitely saved the best for last.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Providencia neighbourhood. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff is very accommodating. They offer the service of the private shuttle to/from the airport which is very professional. There is a nice bar/restaurant with a pool at the rooftop, with an excellent service and a nice view of the town. If you want to relax, while exploring Santiago, this is definitely a top choice.
