Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The drinks were fantastic at the pool bar. Everywhere was sparkling clean, from the spa to my room.
This was a great way to end my trip to Patagonia. After a delicious room service dinner, I passed out on the extremely comfortable beds.
I mostly loved how close it was to the Metro station (El Golf). It was great to get around the city. I visited the museum, the huge mall, etc via the metro.
Highly recommend the Ritz Carlton for your next adventure in Santiago!
I was upgraded to a junior suite with Club Lounge access at check-in. Guests with Club access check in directly on the 10th floor, and the process was smooth, welcoming, and well managed. The staff provided a clear overview of the hotel, Club Lounge amenities, and were happy to answer questions about the city and nearby sights.
The junior suite was excellent. The layout is spacious and intuitive, with two main living areas plus the bathroom. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable, and overall the room felt calm and well designed. I have no major critiques of the room. A few areas could benefit from light cosmetic updates, such as paint touch-ups or minor fixes, but nothing detracted from the comfort or experience. Housekeeping was very good, though on a couple of occasions wash towels were not replaced, which was mildly annoying.
The Club Lounge was a highlight. The food was very good, the wine selection strong, and there was a solid range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The space itself is comfortable and inviting, making it easy to relax or linger. The bar downstairs was also excellent. The cocktails were well made, and both the drinks and food were high quality. I had a pisco sour that was outstanding.
The location is excellent. The hotel is close to great shopping and restaurants, and it is easy to get around the city. Santiago is geographically large, so taxis are often necessary, but the subway is also very convenient. The metro stop is right by the hotel on the Red Line, which is a plus.
Breakfast at the restaurant was very good and worth doing. The buffet offers an excellent selection of fruits, breads, pastries, meats, smoked fish, and other items, along with made-to-order eggs, bacon, sausage, and more. Service was efficient, warm, and professional.
Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located hotel with strong service, great dining options, and an excellent Club Lounge experience. Highly recommended and you receive a warm Ritz Carlton welcome and service.
We almost didn’t stay at the Ritz-Carlton Santiago after reading a few negative reviews — and wow, we are so glad we didn’t let that stop us. Our experience has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff has been nothing but kind, attentive, and welcoming, and every part of our stay has exceeded expectations. Don’t let a few bad reviews keep you from an incredible experience — this place truly delivered.
We truly cannot say enough about the staff and their hospitality. We were greeted with a smile and exceptional service no matter where we were. This includes the spa, the restaurant, and the front lobby staff! We were here for eight days and will absolutely stay here again when we return!
