Best hotel we have stayed in. The actual hotel is halfway down the alleyway, not on the main road but very easy to find. The reception staff are very friendly, speak great English and are always helpful. They helped us to order a taxi from the airport and also with forbidden city and great wall tours. They also serve breakfasts and provide water.
The rooms are spacious, very quiet and we got an amazing sleep as they are very warm in the winter. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again.

After reading so many positive reviews, I honestly felt like they were describing a different hotel.
Unfortunately, my room was not clean, and it was located right behind the garbage collection area. Even with the windows closed, we could still smell the trash.
I do agree that the staff were friendly, but the experience was not good.
Overall, the experience did not match the hotel's rating.

The Happy Dragon Alley Hotel had the most friendliest and helpful staff we have experienced. Nothing was too much trouble, they spoke good English, and they made our stay memorable. The rooms are basic big city style and had that wonderful home style feel. It is in a good location and we could wonder at night and find bars and restaurants.

Great location next to Line 5 on the subway and close to lots of places to eat. The rooms are quite basic but clean and comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot.
But the best thing was the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. They recommended fabulous places for Peking duck and dumplings and were on hand to help with our taxi when we left at 4.30am! Such wonderful service and always with a smile which was much appreciated! Highly recommend.

After my first visit 1,5 years ago I stayed there again two weeks ago.
The main reason why I came back was the staff. The team is quite young and speeks English very well. These people are so friendly, nice and super helpful. Kt is truly amazing.
They will contact you a short time before your stazand provide you with all the necessary information like hiw to find thr hotel, necessary information regarding apps and so on.
The hotel is just a five minute walk away from the next underground station. In the surrounding area you will find lots of restaurants and shops.
The facilities are nkt new, bit well maintained and super clean.
I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Very close to the subway, pretty clean, the bed was comfortable, good shower, a very quiet place.
