Beijing, No. 1 Jianguomen Outer Street, Chaoyang District (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This classic platinum five-star hotel is a favorite of ours. We returned and opted for a suite, which was very comfortable. The service and cleanliness are excellent, and we'll definitely be back.
As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury and offered an amazing experience.
The location deserves a special mention – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to both Metro Line 1 and Line 10, making travel completely effortless. Step out of the hotel, and you're right at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options it's hard to choose. All your retail...
China World Hotel is truly a perfect hotel! I was so pleasantly surprised to find out it was a filming location for 'The Tale of Rose' after checking in. The environment is elegant and luxurious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable! I'm so satisfied! The lobby also has a stamp for check-ins and sugar painting activities, which all the kids loved!
This old five-star hotel is still well-maintained, but this time, during the May Day holiday, there were so many guests that even the Executive Lounge was packed. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all swamped, which really impacted the stay experience. Also, the food at the Executive Lounge was genuinely subpar, especially the afternoon tea, which has dropped several levels compared to before...
The hotel lobby is still grand and opulent. While the common areas of the hotel feel a bit dated, they are very well-maintained.
The breakfast, however, was quite disappointing, much worse than at many other Shangri-La hotels. The live cooking station was a bit dirty, and only offered noodle soup and wontons (which had to be made fresh). For the noodle soup, you could only choose the broth, with no...
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade. The only downside was that without a robot delivery service, takeout couldn't be brought up to the room, so I had to go downstairs to pick it up myself.

This is an old-school five-star hotel with a distinct regal charm. While the style might feel a bit dated, it exudes a sense of grandeur everywhere you look! The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, and the service is excellent. Plus, there's a charming, antiquated courtyard.
When I'm traveling, if I'm ever unsure, I always go for a Shangri-La executive room, and it never disappoints. Shangri-La truly lives up to its name; the facilities are impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail is something you have to see for yourself. We checked in directly at the lounge, where Front Desk staffer Yuan Xiaofan was incredibly welcoming and arranged for an extra bed since we...
The hotel service, as always, was professional and meticulous. The staff were patient, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. Even before check-in, the hotel departments noticed from the booking that there would be children staying, so they decorated the room in a child-friendly way early on, with all sorts of children's amenities readily available, and even bananas among the welcome fruit, which kids love...
The location is great, not far from both bus and subway stations. The hotel itself is very grand, with various sections, and it's a popular choice for many old Beijingers to host wedding banquets. As a long-standing hotel, it boasts an entire back garden, along with options like a Michelin restaurant, a garden bar, and a lobby lounge.
The room was very clean and tidy. Anais provided excellent and enthusiastic service, helping with license plate registration and extending our stay. The executive lounge was as good as ever. I'll definitely be back next time.
The hotel is a bit old and some rooms show their age, but the new wing is much newer. They gave a small gift to my child upon arrival, which was a nice touch. We booked a family room in the new wing, and the complimentary lounge access was a great perk. It was perfect for our little one who eats small meals frequently, as we could grab sandwiches anytime so they wouldn't go hungry. Overall, we had...

Here, Anya and Chris graciously helped me unwind from my exhaustion. It's more than just a place to rest; it's like a re-energizing station.
They offer a wonderful array of cookies, pastries, light bites, and salads at the Guest Lounge buffet tea break, which includes coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruits, desserts, cookies, and light salads.
The location is incredibly convenient, with a shopping mall...
I have to commend the hotel on the meticulous details! They provide high-quality tea bags and coffee. The shower has excellent water pressure, which is consistent and heats up instantly. These seemingly small details collectively created an extremely comfortable stay, clearly showing Anya and Chris's thoughtfulness and care.
This spacious apartment-style room, at 60 square meters, was incredibly comfortable and fantastic! The service was excellent, and the reception was very welcoming. The location is super convenient, with the subway right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel's tropical pool and the views from the room are unbeatable – every photo you take will look like it's from a magazine. Special thanks...
This is a high-spec hotel, with many international guests. The room was spacious and comfortable, and kept very clean. The facilities were new, and the linens were of good quality. The location is excellent, just a little over a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square. The service was top-notch; they even helped me find the 'Temple of Heaven' themed cake I really wanted, which was incredibly thoughtful
The hotel environment is great, the location is excellent and convenient for getting around, and the service is spot on. The front desk lady was so thoughtful, arranging an upgrade and bathtub disinfection in advance based on my order notes! Our room for the extended stay was cleaned immaculately. The food voucher we received allowed us to order pasta for a late-night snack, which my child loved! But...
The crystal chandeliers in the lobby were dazzling, making the check-in experience feel truly grand. Amy at the front desk was fluent in both Chinese and English, and handled issues decisively. She made my late check-out request a breeze. During my stay, she even messaged me about changes in the weather, reminding me to dress warmly. Such thoughtful service in such an elegant setting is truly rare

The staff service was quite good. The room window faced the new TV station directly. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old, and the air quality was a bit poor; we had to ask the cleaning staff to open the windows for ventilation every day. The pool environment was pretty good, and it wasn't crowded. The hairdryer at the pool was a Dyson, which was much better than the one in the room, which...
The hotel service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was super fast. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was prompt and meticulous. Any requests were handled quickly. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again!
A really great hotel, grand and elegant. It's a five-star property with a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared breakfast options, plus lots of different drinks. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I'll definitely book again next time.
Amazing location, comfortable bed and room and the pool and sauna is so relaxing after a long day
The views are incredible! I booked this hotel specifically to see the CBD, and the front desk upgraded me to an even better room with a fantastic view.
The hotel is conveniently located near the CBD, making dining options easily accessible. The staff were all wonderful and provided excellent service. They have a swimming pool and hot tubs, and there's a subway station right outside, which makes getting around incredibly easy. Overall, I highly recommend it.

The room was very clean. Mona at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive, thoroughly explaining all the facilities. The breakfast was also good. It's definitely worth another visit.
The room is excellent, clean, comfortable, and the environment is great. I've stayed here many times and will definitely be back. I'm very satisfied! The service is good, and the transportation is convenient. I slept very well! It's super convenient!
I booked your Mother's Day package for my parents, and the overall experience was outstanding. I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to Eric, the Concierge Supervisor, the front desk team (Mia, Jia, and another unnamed front desk lady), and all the staff at the Long Street Buffet Restaurant.
As I couldn't accompany my parents during their stay, many details required the hotel's assistance. Supervisor...
Traveling during the May Day holiday, I was pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a top-floor executive room. The environment and hygiene were excellent, and it was super convenient to get around. The only minor drawback was having to pick up food deliveries from the takeout locker on the first floor, but thankfully it's inside the hotel lobby.
The service from the guest rooms and concierge was excellent, while the front desk was a bit ordinary; they could be more enthusiastic and proactive. The birthday decorations were a thoughtful touch. Room maintenance and cleanliness were also good, and the view was nice. Definitely worth recommending.

Regent Beijing was my choice, a hidden gem of a luxury hotel in the city center. It's incredibly convenient, right next to the Dengshikou Station exit on Line 5, where you can spot the hotel's side entrance sign. It's also very close to Jinyu Hutong Station on Line 8, making it super easy to get to popular spots like Wangfujing, the Bird's Nest, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Xidan Joy City, and THE...
Location: I was most satisfied with its proximity to Dengshikou subway station – it's incredibly close (in my opinion, for a capital city with lots of traffic control and often no parking near attractions, taking the subway is the most convenient way to get anywhere). The hotel is also very close to Wangfujing, so if you have enough time, you can walk there for a city walk, which is quite enjoyable...
My husband and I stayed in Regent Beijing in mid May 2026 for 4 nights. We had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent across all areas—from customer service, front desk to housekeeping. The staff were consistently professional, attentive, and very helpful, which made the experience truly enjoyable.

The room size was just right, and it truly upheld the quality expected of an established five-star hotel. Many small details were perfectly executed, like the soft, clean, and waterproof mats in front of the sink and toilet. The turndown service was also excellent. The hotel's location is excellent and convenient for transportation, and the concierge and front desk staff provided great in-person service, which is commendable. However, the online WeChat service from the Regent guest services team was extremely disappointing and disheartening.

The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the staff are polite and enthusiastic. The room was quiet and clean, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The elevator was also super fast! The only slight drawback is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but getting a taxi isn't an issue.
The room was new and clean, and the service was excellent. Rosy, the front desk lady, secretly surprised my family with a birthday treat after finding out it was my family member's birthday. Thank you! The restaurant and other services were also great. I'll definitely choose Westin again next time I'm in town!
The service at Lotus is incredibly thoughtful! The environment is clean and elegant. My stay here was perfect, highly recommend~ Their breakfast is delicious!!! Much better than InterContinental's!!!
Annie Lotus at the front desk provided excellent service! The hotel is clean and tidy, very comfortable. The gym is great, and the bedding is quite soft and comfortable. The window view is wide and bright, there's an air purifier, and if the room is cold, they'll even provide a heater.
This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel service, from check-in to issue resolution and check-out, was truly exceptional. My experience on this trip was half satisfying, half extremely disappointing. Let's break it down as the platform settings suggest.

Excellent hotel with great facilities and a prime location. The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean. It's surrounded by famous shopping malls, with both local and international brand stores lining the streets. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
The hotel facilities are complete, and the hygiene is impeccable. It's super convenient to get around, with SKP just a few minutes' walk downstairs. The service is also exceptionally thoughtful.
The service was exceptional, with staff from the front desk to the restaurant offering warm, smiling service. This really shows why staying at a chain hotel is often a better choice—the service quality is consistently high. The location is also fantastic, right next to two large shopping malls.

The hotel service was excellent. They proactively helped with our luggage, and the room cleaning was meticulous and thoughtful, showing high-standard service in every detail. Coming back to the hotel after a day out felt incredibly reassuring and comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay at Changfugong again in the future.
This hotel made my May Day holiday trip to Maydayland and the Bird's Nest absolutely fantastic. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could tell the ambiance was great.
The room had an excellent view, and it was incredibly clean. There wasn't a speck of dust on the windows, the phone, or anywhere else, which shows how meticulously the cleaning staff worked. I don't want to disparage other hotels...
The stay was awesome.
The staff kindly upgraded my room.
I can leave my luggage after checking out as well.
The room isn't huge, and it's not a brand-new hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent. Let's start with the facilities:
1. The bedside lamps aren't directly overhead; they're adjustable, so you won't disturb anyone sleeping next to you.

The room was pretty good, and the location was convenient. My check-in experience was quite unpleasant, but they did offer compensation afterward, so overall I'm satisfied. I didn't use the gym or pool, but for this price point in Beijing (around 1000 yuan), having those amenities and a spacious room is excellent value for money, especially if you're attending a concert at the Bird's Nest.
The room was held for me as requested, not too far from the elevator, quiet and clean. The hotel location is convenient for transportation; I could just bike to the Bird's Nest for a concert. Free parking and charging stations were a plus, so I left fully charged for my drive back to Shanghai. Thumbs up!
My friend was in Beijing for Mayday's 'graduation ceremony' and I booked her a stay at the Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng, right by Anzhen Bridge Subway Station. The subway access was pretty convenient. It was a two-night package with breakfast included, and the price was decent too. The overall environment was good, and for this trip, convenience was definitely the top priority! 👍🏻
The room and the bed were both large, perfect for a family trip, and it even came with a pool.
Facilities: Well-equipped
Cleanliness: Clean and odorless

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and professional. They handled check-in efficiently and went above and beyond to assist with any requests. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant was huge, and the hotel overall felt quite new. It was convenient for visiting clients, and close to Xuanwumen subway station. There's also a great old braised offal restaurant nearby.
The location is quite convenient, and I'm very satisfied with the cleanliness of the environment. The executive lounge offers excellent service, and the dining is good (it would be even more perfect if breakfast included some freshly made noodles or other local dishes). Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
Great stay, staff were very friendly, and the room was excellent. I'll definitely come back next time! It was very quiet, and the bathtub worked perfectly.
The room was very comfortable and the hotel's location was great. However, the breakfast selection could be improved.
The hotel is a bit old, but the room is quite spacious with decent basic amenities. The orientation isn't great, making it a bit dark in winter. The front desk service was good. It's not far from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, and about fifteen minutes from Beijing North Railway Station.

I really loved the hotel's style; the overall experience was great. As soon as I walked in, I was drawn to the interior design. Even though the building is older, the rooms are very well-maintained, and the location is excellent, very close to the subway entrance, just a few minutes' walk away.

The service was very thoughtful. Although they couldn't upgrade our room, they still sent a bottle of red wine for our anniversary. The room facilities were a bit ordinary, but the location near Guomao was extremely convenient. Breakfast was a bit average.
Having stayed in countless hotels, this time my main impression was that the hardware has significantly deteriorated. It was fantastic, I'm so happy!
This is my second stay here, and the service is really excellent. The room is spacious, and the location is super convenient for getting around. The staff even helped open the car door and carry my luggage. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!
Comfortable room with smoke smell. Good breakfast but the same every day. Wi-fi not working most of the time and swimming pool not available due to renovation, should have been notified before arrival. Old style hotel that gets the job done with nothing that stands out.
excellent hospitality and room services very excellent.
The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, and they proactively upgraded our room, which made for an excellent stay. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation design, and the facilities were complete. The decor was exquisite and stylish. The location is superb, within walking distance to attractions and the subway station.

What I loved most about this stay was Kayla, the lady in red. She proactively called me before I even arrived to ask about my needs. During my stay, she not only prepared a handwritten welcome card but also thoughtfully noticed my preferences and helped me get a quiet room on a higher floor. Whenever I had a question or an issue, she was always quick to respond and resolve it, which made me feel incredibly...
I originally booked a 5-night stay (2+3), but ended up moving to the Marriott after only 2 nights. The Kempinski is a well-established five-star hotel in the embassy district, boasting all the old-money charm with its restaurants, lounge, bakery, gym, and shopping mall. It's also conveniently located by the Liangma River, perfect for a leisurely stroll. However, the service was a bit of a mixed bag...
The heated pool on the top floor of the Kempinski Hotel, though not large, has excellent water quality and a great environment. The south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows are bright and offer expansive views of the city, making it a very relaxing experience to swim there. The Black Forest cake and strawberry cheesecake from the deli were delicious. The breakfast at the New Classic restaurant might not...
Service: Thoughtful, with turn-down service, and the cake was delicious.
Cleanliness: Nothing to complain about, met expectations.
Environment: Conveniently located near Liangma River, Solana, and Chaoyang Park.
Facilities: The pool was clean and uncrowded, with a 15-meter lane, perfect for kids.
This was my first time staying at a Kempinski, and my expectations were shattered. First off, the cleanliness was subpar. There were unidentified hairs in the bathtub, and dirty residue came out of the bathtub's knob. The box holding the toiletries in the bathroom was also visibly broken and in terrible shape. Then there was breakfast. I had specifically chosen a room with breakfast because I'd read...
Booked an executive family room for our May Day trip. The room itself wasn't anything special, but the executive perks were quite good, and the service was excellent. The breakfast on the first floor was great, and we also enjoyed complimentary executive afternoon tea and dinner buffet in the evenings.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations, a definite must-praise. Even a standard room is 50 square meters, which is incredibly rare in Beijing; the spaciousness made for a very comfortable stay. The service was exceptionally thoughtful, and I want to specifically commend Ella. Before I even arrived, she arranged for my pre-sent package to be delivered to my room, making the entire process effortless...
The concierge service at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful! Leah handled the check-in process efficiently, and the staff proactively helped with our luggage, introduced the hotel facilities, and patiently recommended local attractions and delicious food. Their attitude was gentle and enthusiastic, with attention to detail evident in everything they did. Our stay was fantastic!
This was my second stay at this hotel and it was great! Leah checked me in this time, and she was not only efficient but also proactively helped me get a quiet and comfortable room. The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is spotless, and the environment is refreshing. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to transportation and close proximity to the subway station. Overall, the experience...
A friend of mine stayed here before and said it was okay, so I didn't hesitate too much to book it. When I arrived, I found it was indeed pretty good. You can tell the rooms have seen better days, but they're not unbearable and didn't bother me. The soundproofing here is excellent, much better than other places I've stayed. Ella provided great service, but I wish there were better parking discounts
The room was spacious and bright, and the surrounding transportation was convenient, only a ten-minute walk from Metro Line 1 and Line 2. It was very easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum. If you want to watch the flag-raising ceremony in the morning, you can get to Tiananmen by shared bike in about ten minutes. The hotel service was excellent. After a long...
Miya at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive, very polite and efficient. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and all in good working order. Plus, the location offers convenient transportation. It's excellent value for money, and my overall experience was very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!
