Shangri-La Beijing, Beijing1 / 30
9.2
Beijing, 29 Zizhuyuan Road (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Both during check-in and check-out, we encountered Miss Sun Yue. She's an excellent employee who can consider issues from the customer's perspective, quickly come up with solutions, and resolve problems efficiently
We checked in directly at the lounge, where Front Desk staffer Yuan Xiaofan was incredibly welcoming and arranged for an extra bed since we had our child with us
Even before check-in, the hotel departments noticed from the booking that there would be children staying, so they decorated the room in a child-friendly way early on, with all sorts of children's amenities readily available, and even bananas among the welcome fruit, which kids love
The location is great, not far from both bus and subway stations. The hotel itself is very grand, with various sections, and it's a popular choice for many old Beijingers to host wedding banquets
Shangri-La truly lives up to its name; the facilities are impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail is something you have to see for yourself
The hotel service, as always, was professional and meticulous. The staff were patient, thoughtful, and enthusiastic

Beijing, No. 1 West Chongwenmen Street, Dongcheng District (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I love it just as much as the first! The room is a bit small, but it's very clean! The service is also excellent! Most importantly, the location is fantastic – close to Tiananmen Square, and the subway station is right outside, making getting around incredibly convenient!
The front desk staff handled check-in with great enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, especially Xiao Zhai. Seeing that we had a child with us, she promptly upgraded our room. All our requests were handled very efficiently
The environment: This time I booked an inner-facing room. The window overlooked the ground floor restaurant, so I couldn't open it, and there was an odor in the room. The room was also smaller than before
The temperature in the room felt well above 25°C, and we couldn't get it to cool down properly. That said, it might have been our fault, perhaps, we just didn't understand how the system works
When my child accidentally left a toy in the hotel, the lobby manager immediately arranged for staff to search for it after receiving our call and gave us timely feedback once it was found
Environment: The hotel's environment is also good, and the transportation is very convenient. The subway entrance is right outside the hotel lobby, making it super easy to get around

Beijing, No. 1 Jianguomen Outer Street, Chaoyang District (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The floor-to-ceiling window, in particular, offered an incredible view. Lying down and enjoying the scenery was pure bliss. The amenities were also complete, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable
Also, the food at the Executive Lounge was genuinely subpar, especially the afternoon tea, which has dropped several levels compared to before. The happy hour offerings were also just so-so, with no substantial dishes
You can walk to both Metro Line 1 and Line 10, making travel completely effortless. Step out of the hotel, and you're right at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options it's hard to choose
The environment is elegant and luxurious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable! I'm so satisfied! The lobby also has a stamp for check-ins and sugar painting activities, which all the kids loved!
This classic platinum five-star hotel is a favorite of ours. We returned and opted for a suite, which was very comfortable. The service and cleanliness are excellent, and we'll definitely be back.
As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury and offered an amazing experience. The location deserves a special mention – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere

Beijing, 1 East Chang An Avenue (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
She made my late check-out request a breeze. During my stay, she even messaged me about changes in the weather, reminding me to dress warmly. Such thoughtful service in such an elegant setting is truly rare!
They offer a wonderful array of cookies, pastries, light bites, and salads at the Guest Lounge buffet tea break, which includes coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruits, desserts, cookies, and light salads
The hotel's tropical pool and the views from the room are unbeatable – every photo you take will look like it's from a magazine. Special thanks to Anya and Chris for their consistently great service from start to finish
The food voucher we received allowed us to order pasta for a late-night snack, which my child loved! But the absolute highlight is the stunning swimming pool – it's truly the best of all time!
After learning about the situation, front desk staff Amy and Anya immediately arranged for a late check-out until 3 PM. When I checked out, they even helped me print documents and planned my route
I have to commend the hotel on the meticulous details! They provide high-quality tea bags and coffee. The shower has excellent water pressure, which is consistent and heats up instantly

The hotel service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was super fast. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping was prompt and meticulous
Amazing location, comfortable bed and room and the pool and sauna is so relaxing after a long day
A really great hotel, grand and elegant. It's a five-star property with a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared breakfast options, plus lots of different drinks. The rooms are comfortable and clean
The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe
They have a swimming pool and hot tubs, and there's a subway station right outside, which makes getting around incredibly easy. Overall, I highly recommend it
This was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet

Regent Hotel, Beijing1 / 8
9.1
Beijing, No. 99 Jinbao Street, Dongcheng District (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Regent Beijing was my choice, a hidden gem of a luxury hotel in the city center. It's incredibly convenient, right next to the Dengshikou Station exit on Line 5, where you can spot the hotel's side entrance sign
It's also very close to Jinyu Hutong Station on Line 8, making it super easy to get to popular spots like Wangfujing, the Bird's Nest, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Xidan Joy City, and THE BOX
The breakfast quality is superb, and the Italian food at Decanter is authentic and delicious. The hotel lobby is luxurious and stylish. Service: The front desk service was warm and friendly
This stay added such a gentle and healing touch to my Mayday concert trip! As a Trip. com Diamond member and IHG Platinum member, I was pleasantly surprised by the member benefits
There was a live noodle station, exquisite desserts, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a variety of drinks. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors authentic; every bite showed true quality
Location: I was most satisfied with its proximity to Dengshikou subway station – it's incredibly close (in my opinion, for a capital city with lots of traffic control and often no parking near attractions, taking the subway is the most convenient way to get anywhere)

Beijing, 1 Sanlihe Road (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Although it's an old house from 1950, it's been maintained remarkably well, and the complete lack of any unpleasant odors is a big plus! However, as an old building, there's no elevator, which can be inconvenient for those with a lot of luggage
The hotel was conveniently located, well maintained, and my room was very clean. I had requested an air purifier beforehand, and it was promptly set up for me.
The room was spacious and bright with a nice view. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very patient during check-in
The hotel has a good location, and this is already my third stay, so I booked it without hesitation this time
Downstairs, you'll find attractions like the Paleozoological Museum of China (which is open to the public), the main entrance of the Beijing Zoo, the Beijing Planetarium, Old Moscow Restaurant, and the Beijing Exhibition Center
The mattress was a bit too firm. There's really nothing around the hotel. The hotel's restaurants are super overpriced – 98 for caramelized meatballs, 118 for lamb, and the portions are small and the food isn't even good

I stayed here during a transit in Beijing Airport. Hotel is nice and roomy. Club lounge is wonderful. As a Spire member I got club lounge access automatically. I highly recommend this place.
The room was very clean. Mona at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive, thoroughly explaining all the facilities. The breakfast was also good. It's definitely worth another visit.
Supervisor Eric proactively contacted me before check-in, patiently understood my needs, helped prepare a fruit platter and a welcome card, and even delivered the flower bouquet I ordered to the room on the day of check-in, sending me videos and photos to confirm the details
The other unnamed front desk lady efficiently helped me connect with the Long Street Restaurant, providing warm and attentive service. The staff at the Long Street Buffet Restaurant were also very professional
The room is excellent, clean, comfortable, and the environment is great. I've stayed here many times and will definitely be back. I'm very satisfied! The service is good, and the transportation is convenient
I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to Eric, the Concierge Supervisor, the front desk team (Mia, Jia, and another unnamed front desk lady), and all the staff at the Long Street Buffet Restaurant

The room was new and clean, and the service was excellent. Rosy, the front desk lady, secretly surprised my family with a birthday treat after finding out it was my family member's birthday
Very nice Westin right in the middle of the financial district. No, this is not The Peninsula, but it delivers very well for a higher-than average, business hotel.
The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the staff are polite and enthusiastic. The room was quiet and clean, and the breakfast was varied and delicious
The elevator was also super fast! The only slight drawback is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but getting a taxi isn't an issue
Annie Lotus at the front desk provided excellent service! The hotel is clean and tidy, very comfortable. The gym is great, and the bedding is quite soft and comfortable
This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel service, from check-in to issue resolution and check-out, was truly exceptional

I frequently stay at this hotel for business trips! The front desk service is consistently excellent 👍 Katherine is always incredibly helpful and enthusiastic! The entire team is wonderful, and I'm sure I'll keep choosing this place
Many thanks to them! Also, a big thank you to the concierge, who worked hard to help with luggage and enthusiastically gave me directions. The manager and technician who came to fix the TV were sincere and responsible
The bathtub's water was clean and hygienic, perfect for relieving travel fatigue. **Service:** The housekeeping staff was incredibly diligent. They always tidied up our takeout boxes and neatly folded our clothes
The internet was incredibly slow, and the TV was practically useless (I'll elaborate on my TV experience below). **Environment:** The location is decent, with a subway station and commercial area nearby
Given the good location and the high prices in the capital, I initially accepted it and truly didn't intend to leave a negative review. **Hygiene:** They seem to have disinfected thoroughly
However, the room environment itself was very average. The entire room was extremely dry and really small (the video used a wide-angle lens). It definitely wasn't worth the price

Beijing, No. 9, Jianguomen Inner Street, Dongcheng District (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The restaurant's decor is unique, and there's even someone playing the guqin, performing 'Misty Rain Sings in Yangzhou'. The 28th floor of the International Hotel features a revolving restaurant
This can make guests feel insecure and erode their trust in the hotel. The indoor lighting system is confusing to use. Although it's quite smart, guests should be given instructions on how to use it upon check-in
The Jianguomen subway station, an interchange for Line 1 and Line 2, is conveniently located right outside, making getting around very easy. There's a slight scent of renovation in the room
I specifically booked a room with executive lounge access. During the day, the lounge only offered tea, with no snacks or fruit whatsoever. It was completely deserted during the day
It offers views of the area within Beijing's Second Ring Road. 9 Jianguomen Inner Street, Beijing International Hotel has no taller buildings nearby, so the view is superb
I had intended to have a simple dinner at the executive lounge to avoid eating out, but the 'simple meal' was far too basic and, more importantly, tasted very poor

Although it's an older five-star hotel, all the facilities are well-maintained. Throughout my stay, I felt the service was incredibly attentive and comfortable, without feeling out of place
The Sunlight Gym offers swimming and fitness. Every day after we came back from exploring, my child would go to the pool for a while, and all the staff there were very nice
They pay attention to the smallest details, like putting a cute cat-shaped anti-scald handle on the hot milk carafe. The comb is dual-purpose, with fine and wide teeth, and it's excellent quality
The hotel is clean, the service is great, and the staff are very professional. It's a very nice five-star hotel, perfect for business trips or family vacations
Coming back to the hotel after a day out felt incredibly reassuring and comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay at Changfugong again in the future
From the outside maybe a bit brutalist architecture but inside is decorated very classy (just like me). Room 19th floor was clean and comfortable, the swimming pool and sauna also very clean

The room was held for me as requested, not too far from the elevator, quiet and clean. The hotel location is convenient for transportation; I could just bike to the Bird's Nest for a concert
Great value for money, and the staff were very friendly. Although the meals are simple, they're quite convenient. The location isn't far, but Beijing traffic is truly something else, haha. I'd definitely come back again
The room was pretty good, and the location was convenient. My check-in experience was quite unpleasant, but they did offer compensation afterward, so overall I'm satisfied
I didn't use the gym or pool, but for this price point in Beijing (around 1000 yuan), having those amenities and a spacious room is excellent value for money, especially if you're attending a concert at the Bird's Nest
The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and professional. They handled check-in efficiently and went above and beyond to assist with any requests. The room was meticulously clean and well-designed

The location of hotel is good, metro is close, breakfast was amazing, everything is so clean, but most of all i am fascinated with hair dryer amazing one😅 very good hotel, highly recommended!!! On photo the view from room
Breakfast was excellent – perhaps because the price is a bit high, there weren't many people, making for a comfortable dining experience. The food was plentiful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of fruits
The rooms were clean, and the concierge and restaurant staff were all excellent. A special shout-out to Manager Chen from the concierge team; his service was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and proactive
The room itself is a bit dated, and you have to shower standing in the bathtub. The Sihuaxuan restaurant is very good, which is definitely a plus for the hotel
The Beijing Hotel has a great location, and the rooms are new and recently renovated. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the soundproofing is good

The executive lounge offers excellent service, and the dining is good (it would be even more perfect if breakfast included some freshly made noodles or other local dishes). Overall, it was a very comfortable stay
The hotel is a bit old, but the room is quite spacious with decent basic amenities. The orientation isn't great, making it a bit dark in winter. The front desk service was good
The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant was huge, and the hotel overall felt quite new. It was convenient for visiting clients, and close to Xuanwumen subway station
Nicole at the front desk was very efficient; I accidentally booked a king room, and she immediately helped me change it to a twin room, making check-in quick
Great stay, staff were very friendly, and the room was excellent. I'll definitely come back next time! It was very quiet, and the bathtub worked perfectly.

I forgot to take pictures, but it was really good, excellent in all aspects. Even though the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained. It's super convenient to go downstairs for a stroll along the Liangma River
Plus, the surrounding area boasts convenient transportation and beautiful scenery
The hairdryer had very weak airflow, so if you have long hair, it's best to bring your own travel-sized one. ## Environment: The hotel is located near the Liangma River, not far from Yansha Shopping Mall
In the evening, you can also take a stroll in the riverside park nearby, which offers beautiful scenery. ## Hygiene: The room itself was incredibly clean and tidy, including the inside of the cabinets

Great location, very close to the Forbidden City. They gave me a really quiet room. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and patient, and a special thanks to Apple for her help – she was incredibly nice.

The entrance was a bit tricky, but once you get used to it, it felt just like any other metropolis. Living in the center could mean you're part of the view. The specialties and swing dance by the bar is a delight.
Huge thanks to Changjiu, the doorman! He greeted me when I arrived and was there again when I checked out. He was incredibly enthusiastic, proactively helping me with my luggage, opening car doors, and guiding me
His smile was truly infectious. It was a bit disappointing that the Executive Lounge was temporarily moved to the fourth floor this time; due to the space constraints, the happy hour food selection was smaller than usual
Nearby, you'll find famous landmarks like the China World Trade Center and China Zun, contributing to a vibrant commercial atmosphere with abundant shopping and dining options, catering to all types of travel needs
I booked an Executive Room, but was quite surprised there were no welcome fruits – last time, not only did they send fruit, but they also gave me a teddy bear since they saw I had a child with me

The moment I entered the hotel, I was instantly captivated by the European palace-style decor! The high-ceilinged lobby, adorned with gilded decorations, vintage crystal chandeliers, and delicate carvings, exuded elegance and grandeur at every turn

Convenient, a classic western hotel in Beijing, many enjoyed the live music in 1F centro, and children's park in 2F, right next to a bunch of office towers
The service was very thoughtful. Although they couldn't upgrade our room, they still sent a bottle of red wine for our anniversary
Had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were all very professional. Tiffany and Coco at the front desk helped me get a room with a great view and even arranged a late check-out, which I really appreciated.
Having stayed in countless hotels, this time my main impression was that the hardware has significantly deteriorated
The male staff members are familiar faces and speak excellent English; the female staff rotate frequently. The bathtubs on the executive floor need renovation. And please don't give me a room ending in '3' next time
Although I know Shangri-La maintains their properties meticulously, issues like the faulty door lock indicate it's definitely due for a major renovation. The light meals at the Horizon Club have also declined
