Beijing Xinqiao Hotel, Beijing1 / 50

Beijing, No. 1 Chongwenmen West Street, Dongcheng District (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside the subway exit. It's really close to both the subway and bus for getting around, and it's on a typical city walk route. Across the street from the hotel, there's a braised offal (menkuang luzhu) place with good food, and also an old-fashioned dessert shop that's worth trying if you like that kind of thing.
The room's heating was very comfortable, just the right temperature. The location is convenient, close to a subway station, making it easy to get around. There are also many restaurants nearby. The bakery downstairs has delicious bread, and the staff are very enthusiastic.
It's truly an old hotel. I overlooked its age, focusing solely on its proximity to the subway! Lights: The lighting relies entirely on a few table lamps. The bathroom is even worse; the light and exhaust fan turn on together, and due to its age, the fan is incredibly noisy... Noise: The refrigerator is very loud, and the soundproofing facing the street is terrible. Cars passing on the main road are...
I had the opportunity to stay at the Xinqiao Hotel due to a family matter. First, let me start with the positives. The hygiene was excellent; as an older hotel, they maintain high cleanliness standards. Although the facilities are a bit dated, everything was spotless, making for a reassuring stay. Second, the front desk service was fantastic, especially the staff member Xiaomei. She was very helpful...
Booked for three nights and absolutely loved it here in Beijing. The Chongwenmen subway station is incredibly convenient for getting to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum, the Forbidden City, or Beijing Railway Station, all within three subway stops. It's perfect when traveling with elderly family members and children. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
Braved Beijing with my child during the New Year's Day holiday! The front desk kindly upgraded our room for free. It was clean and spacious, and we slept so comfortably. The hotel's location right by the subway station was incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get to Tiananmen and the National Museum. It's also really close to a shopping district, so we took a stroll at night and had some...

Good service by Jason.. nice place😊
The front desk service was fantastic – warm, attentive, and incredibly patient. A truly excellent experience, and I'll definitely be staying here again. The hotel's location is superb! It's so convenient for visiting the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and协和 (Xiehe Hospital).
We loved it there. It is a beautiful hotel in a magnificent location. Everyone was helpful and kind. I felt like I was in an old Hollywood movie.
Amazing staying for our Beijing trip! Excellent location, very kind staff and exquisite breakfast. Definitely recommended
Loved this hotel very much! room is big enough for us 2 adults and a 14 year old kid. Room is carpeted which is nice in winter, room heater also works well. Located in the city centre, walking distance to wangfujing street and subway.
Normal hotel and consider affordable for family of 3, provide a good view for Forbidden City

It's quite close to the Bird's Nest, just a left turn away. There aren't many food options nearby, but the front desk service was decent and quite enthusiastic. They knew everything I asked. Thumbs up to Elliana! 👍
From the moment I checked in, I was assisted by Wang Mengduo at the front desk. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful, warm, professional, and meticulous – truly excellent. I had originally planned to check out after a few days and stay near Beijing Station, but because of the professional and attentive service provided by staff like Wang Mengduo, I found my stay here so pleasant that I decided...
I want to give a special shout-out to Wang Yi at the front desk. I was in a bit of a rush during check-out, but she was super efficient and even helped me double-check my bill details. Before I left, she enthusiastically recommended some great local restaurants. My experience was absolutely fantastic!
The room was decent and relatively clean. The service was good, and breakfast was not bad.
Very big and quite clean. Location is still okay. Stay was nice.
The hotel is really near to the bird nest stadium. Suitable for those who wanna watch concert or any activity over there. Can just walking to the stadium. But nearby doesnt have so much restaurant or food. (Maybe I havent explore more for food)

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making the subway ride to the train station and airport incredibly smooth. Highly recommend!
I think this hotel offers great value for money. I've stayed here multiple times now. Its location is super convenient for my work, which is a big plus. While the decor might be a bit dated, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the staff provide excellent service. Very satisfied! 👍
Fantastic! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and it far exceeded my expectations. The location is convenient, the service is warm and attentive, and the room is clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bedding, in particular, was so cozy I slept soundly all night. I'll definitely choose this place first whenever I'm in the area again! Highly recommended!
This is my go-to hotel every time I'm on a business trip. It's an older hotel, but the rooms are spacious and the facilities are in great condition. Now it's super convenient to contact customer service via WeChat. Check-in and check-out are a breeze, and it's directly connected to Guomao and the subway, offering excellent value for money!
I've stayed here several times now and am always very satisfied. The service is excellent, and the location is great! The staff are really warm and attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town for business.
The location is incredibly convenient, and the service attitude is excellent. They are very accommodating and thoughtful. Plus, you can enjoy sunshine and sunsets from the room.

Great location with convenient transportation. The facilities are excellent and the place is clean and tidy. The service was also very good.
The hotel has an excellent location, and the front desk staff, Xiaoyue, provided wonderful and patient service.
This is an older hotel with a great location and convenient transportation. It offers good value for money, especially being close to Guomao. I've stayed here multiple times, but there's one issue I hope they can improve: the room lighting is far too dim. It really doesn't cater to guests who need to work, and it's quite a strain on the eyes.
Overall, it was pretty good. The location is great and public transport is convenient. I extended my stay for the same room through Trip.com, but when I checked in, the front desk said the original room wasn't available. I didn't mind too much and didn't make any requests. After checking in, the front desk did say they'd upgraded my room, which made me happy, but the actual room was smaller, which...
Really nice hotel with excellent service and a great location close to the CBD. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and helpful, and Li Xing from the luggage department assist us with our checkout—their service was outstanding!

The hygiene was so-so, and the facilities were quite old, but the environment was decent and the service was warm.
I stayed here once last year, and this is my second time. I came to Beijing for an exhibition this time and found the location great; it's convenient to get a taxi anywhere. Although the room decor is a bit old-fashioned, the amenities are quite complete.
This hotel has a lot of character and a classic feel. It's incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the subway exit. I'm so used to seeing skyscrapers that I almost walked past it – didn't even notice it until I was right on top of it! They have a really great value buffet for lunch, and for other meals, they offer takeout. The hotel even has a dedicated pickup point for food deliveries right...
My friend and I visited Beijing in mid-to-late November. This is an older, established hotel, very close to Exit B of Subway Line 1. It's about a 2-minute walk straight ahead to the left after exiting the subway, and there's an escalator – definitely appreciate those on the Beijing subway! Don't use Exit B1, as it leads directly onto a road, and you have to cross a non-motorized vehicle lane, which...
Overall, it's an older hotel, but the service is excellent. The environment is a bit limited but acceptable. For kids' toothbrushes and slippers, you need to request them separately from the front desk. The hairdryer is quite weak, and there are no shower slippers in the bathroom, which I hope they can improve.
The hygiene and location are good, and there were no issues with the service. However, the hotel facilities are really old, giving off a vibe from the last century. For a hotel at this price point, I really can't understand this level of hardware.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and overall had a mixed experience. The property itself is very clean and well-maintained. The rooms were beautifully arranged, neat, and comfortable. Room service was also impressive. However, a few areas need serious improvement. The check-in and check-out process was unusually slow, which felt quite inconvenient after a long journey. The reception staff struggled...
the cleaners were nice, rooms were tidy too, but i suggest having more toiletries like shower caps or cotton buds the check-in and check-out progress were bad, took so long, and the receptionists were unfriendly.
The staff is very courteous and helpful. The lobby is large and upscale. The room was nice but a little worn. I guess that should be expected. They have a spa and a fitness center that looked nice but I did not use them. I did use the pool which was spacious and clean. There are a number of shops down the hallway toward the pool/fitness center, mostly clothing. What I got for what I paid was well worth...
The rooms are for the most part clean but a bit run down. There's quite a bit of noise from the aircon units and loud bangs when neighboring doors slam shut. That said, this is my go-to hotel when in Beijing and having spend well over 50 nights here the last year, I tend to come back every month for the selection of different restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The gym is average, but for some reason...

It's quite an old hotel, but its location on the North 3rd Ring Road is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. A definite highlight was the very generous breakfast. However, the facilities are truly outdated, and the bedding even felt damp. One night, there was even a power outage for about 20 minutes, which was frankly absurd. On the plus side, the service staff were all very pleasant
This is my go-to hotel, and everything is consistently excellent. Ms. Wang Zai from WeChat customer service was exceptionally professional. The breakfast spread is very generous, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes, along with authentic Beijing snacks, and everything tastes wonderful.

I've been staying at this hotel for nearly 20 years now; it's my go-to whenever I'm in Beijing for business. If I don't go out for dinner, the buffet is a decent option at 156 yuan per person, and it includes free-flow beer. It's an even better deal if your room booking includes breakfast!

The place was clean and tidy, a warm home in the capital. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
The hotel's location is great, close to the subway, and there are many delicious food options and fun places nearby. The room layout is comfortable, and breakfast is highly recommended.
Extremely satisfied with the travel experience. The location, facilities, and service were all excellent. The underground parking was also very convenient.
Great location and excellent service. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are perfectly functional. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I've stayed here multiple times. This time, there were even welcome snacks, and the breakfast selection was extensive.
AC was not working, it was extremely hot in the room and the hotel only gave us a fan as a solution.
We had a pleasant stay for 7 nights. The cleaner who clean ed our room everyday was friendly and courteous. The front staff were attentive and always helped us. We would recommend this hotel for families. The only down side is that the hotel is a bit away from the train station. But we didn't have any problem because we used Didi all the times.
