Beijing, No. 1 West Chongwenmen Street, Dongcheng District (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The environment: This time I booked an inner-facing room. The window overlooked the ground floor restaurant, so I couldn't open it, and there was an odor in the room. The room was also smaller than before.
Facilities: Complete, and there was an air freshener in the room.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Service: Warm and attentive.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I love it just as much as the first! The room is a bit small, but it's very clean! The service is also excellent! Most importantly, the location is fantastic – close to Tiananmen Square, and the subway station is right outside, making getting around incredibly convenient!
Whenever my family visits Beijing, we almost always choose the Xinqiao Hotel. It's right next to the subway entrance, which makes getting around super convenient. It's also very close to Tongren Hospital, just a three-minute walk away. The hotel itself is quite clean too.
Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent; the room was cleaned punctually every day, and amenities were refreshed daily during my stay.
Environment: The hotel's environment is also good, and the transportation is very convenient. The subway entrance is right outside the hotel lobby, making it super easy to get around. It's very convenient to get to Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing, and even walkable.
Service...
My friend and I stayed here for one night, and this was my second time returning to this hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a stunning view of the city. The breakfast was wonderful and varied - something for every taste.
The location is superb. It's just two metro stops to the Temple of Heaven, or you can walk there in about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The same distance (around 30 minutes...
The service was great, and they were very responsive to all our requests. The facilities are a bit old, but that's to be expected from an older hotel. The lighting was a bit dim, and there wasn't much they could do about it. However, it's really convenient to get around by subway and bus.

Although it's an old house from 1950, it's been maintained remarkably well, and the complete lack of any unpleasant odors is a big plus! However, as an old building, there's no elevator, which can be inconvenient for those with a lot of luggage. Make sure to arrange beforehand for someone to wait downstairs and help you with your bags. Also, a big thank you to Sister Jia Shulan for the complimentary...
The hotel was conveniently located, well maintained, and my room was very clean. I had requested an air purifier beforehand, and it was promptly set up for me.
Great location, and the room was decent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, it's quite expensive. Parking isn't free for guests; it's 8 yuan an hour, and I heard it's 60 yuan for a full day. The mattress was a bit too firm. There's really nothing around the hotel. The hotel's restaurants are super overpriced – 98 for caramelized meatballs, 118 for lamb, and the portions are small...
The room was spacious and bright with a nice view. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very patient during check-in. The hotel has a good location, and this is already my third stay, so I booked it without hesitation this time. 🤝
This hotel's location is perfect for those traveling to Beijing with elderly family members and children. Downstairs, you'll find attractions like the Paleozoological Museum of China (which is open to the public), the main entrance of the Beijing Zoo, the Beijing Planetarium, Old Moscow Restaurant, and the Beijing Exhibition Center.
The hotel's breakfast is served in a sky restaurant, and the windows...
The room was beautiful and very clean, and the facilities were excellent. The location was also great, and the customer service was super friendly. I slept very quietly at night. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was very good, I really liked the wooden floor in the hotel room.
Environment: I was satisfied with the environment. Some facilities were a bit old, but the room was large and had high ceilings.
Service: The service was very satisfying; anything we needed was delivered quickly.
Although our room was on a high floor, due to its orientation, it only offered a view of landmarks...
This time, our family stayed here for our trip to Beijing. Not only is the location excellent, and the facilities top-notch, but more importantly, the staff are highly professional. Our experience from check-in to check-out was incredibly satisfying! Many service staff, such as the front desk and concierge, provided us with thoughtful assistance.
The breakfast at Zixuan Restaurant on the first floor...
The hotel's location is superb, close to the subway and several shopping malls, and the room space is incredibly large. The service is exceptionally attentive; every staff member felt genuinely warm and welcoming. The hygiene was also excellent, with towels and bedding all feeling new and comfortable. At this price, it's unbeatable.
My only suggestion would be that an upgrade to the decor would make...
Excellent location with great service! The staff member at the lobby entrance was particularly welcoming and enthusiastic. The room was clean, and it offered great value for money. Highly recommend!
I stayed for 6 nights and found the location to be very convenient. The hotel is just a 580-meter walk from Exit E of Xidan Station, which is an interchange for Metro Lines 1 and 4 (making it the closest hotel to Xidan Subway Station). The surrounding area is mostly office buildings, so it's quiet. It's also easy to get around to various places, usually just one or two subway stops away. The hygiene...
Absolutely excellent hotel. Great breakfasts. The staff are genuinely caring. I definitely recommend this hotel to foreigners. Sure, the staff’s English isn’t perfect, but who cares? They really want to help you and happily use translators :)

The hotel is clean and beautiful, the service is attentive, and breakfast and dining are very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.
The front desk staff, particularly Kathy, provided exceptional service. The housekeeping on the 15th floor was also excellent, with clean rooms and attentive service. I'll definitely be back.
Very satisfied with my stay. I was granted an upgrade at check-in. The staff at the East Station were very friendly. There were many restaurant options, and the transportation was convenient.
The hotel's room service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Before arrival, they proactively called to ask about any special room requests. After checking in, our luggage was delivered directly to our room, and we were even greeted with welcome fruit and a handwritten welcome letter. During our stay, April, our butler, was always quick to respond and deliver whenever we messaged her for laundry...
Staying at the East Station, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a more comfortable and clean room. They were also very accommodating and allowed me a late check-out when I requested it. Kunlun Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as an established five-star hotel. Even though the decor is over ten years old, the rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Plus, the surrounding area boasts convenient transportation and beautiful scenery.
Great location and good facilities. The front desk staff who checked us in was very professional and responsible, and our butler was always quick to respond. The room was comfortable, and the nearby Liangma River offers beautiful scenery.
We brought our kids to Beijing and stayed at Kunlun Hotel again. This time, a special thanks to You Zhenfei at the front desk. His service was incredibly warm and attentive. He helped us choose an ideal floor for the children and even upgraded our room for free. We felt right at home, which made our Beijing trip a very comfortable experience. 👍
This is an older international hotel. The service and breakfast were both good, and my child enjoyed it too. The hotel is right by the Liangma River, making transportation very convenient.
A good 5 star hotel close to "things" as you can be in Beijing. Nothing is actually close. But a nice place to be while you are there. The restaurant in the 29th floor turns around like a clock and has a good view over a small part of Beijing. If you book a room in the exectutive floors you get a good breakfast in the 29th as well. Easy to get DiDi to pick you up. Both the japanese and the chinese...
Great location, right by Yansha Bridge, making it super convenient for airport access. It's also right next to the Liangma River with lovely views. The hotel's breakfast offers both Western and Chinese options, and it's quite delicious. The rooms are comfortable and come with a spacious bathroom.

Great location, very close to Wangfujing, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were warm, polite, and provided excellent service. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. Overall, it was a really comfortable stay and great value for money. I'd definitely choose to stay here again.
The room itself is typical of an older hotel, a decent size. It had twin beds, a chaise lounge, a large desk, and a small tea table, all with ample space. The amenities were comprehensive. Very nice and clean hotel which has an amazing location almost at center of Beijing.
In fine, I recommend it strongly.

Hotel room small, furniture old and front desk staff need to improve their service. Not coming back to stay service is 👎🏻.. I travel to many countries notice holiday inn express 👎🏻👎🏻. I always stay Hampton service much better..
Upon checking in, I was initially given an end room. However, the sofa was extremely dirty, and the room had an overpowering scent, probably from an air freshener or some kind of diffuser, so strong it was suffocating. They eventually moved me to another room, though the process was quite troublesome. On the plus side, the hotel's breakfast was very generous.
The breakfast was plentiful, and the location is great with easy access to transport. The hygiene was pretty good too. I highly recommend it! The front desk service was excellent. Definitely worth recommending, and I'll stay here again next time I visit Beijing.

Pretty good! While it's not super new, the room facilities are quite complete and the service is decent. The pool is especially nice – big enough and warm.
Location: The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for both driving and taking the subway. It's about a 20-minute drive to most major attractions and very close to Capital Airport.

Great location, very convenient for business meetings. It's only a few minutes' walk to restaurants, shops, and the subway! All the staff are highly professional! I'll definitely come again.
This is the Trader Hotel, a place I used to frequent, bringing back a lot of good memories. Thanks for the complimentary breakfast; the service was excellent. It's also conveniently located for reaching various business destinations nearby.
The hotel has convenient transportation and the front desk service is excellent, warm, and attentive ❤️🔥. It's close to Guomao, which is great for shopping, and there are many dining options. It's also convenient for business trips to visit institutions. However, the room facilities are a bit old.
The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the Guomao business district. The lobby is spacious and bright. However, the room and bathroom facilities are a bit outdated, and the shower water pressure is low. On the positive side, the room itself is spacious, and the view from the window is quite nice.
This was my second stay here, and I was very happy with the room and the shower water pressure was good. The hotel is conveniently located in the Guomao business district, so dining options are plentiful, and you can access Guomao Mall directly. The hotel is divided into an apartment section and a hotel section, with the only difference being whether there's a phone in the room.
Facilities: The facilities are good and sufficient, typical of older star-rated hotels.

The location of hotel is good, metro is close, breakfast was amazing, everything is so clean, but most of all i am fascinated with hair dryer amazing one😅 very good hotel, highly recommended!!! On photo the view from room.
This is an older hotel. The service was excellent, and the location is superb. Right outside the window is Jianguomenwai Avenue, bustling with traffic, giving you a real sense of the capital's energy. The room itself is a bit dated, and you have to shower standing in the bathtub. The Sihuaxuan restaurant is very good, which is definitely a plus for the hotel.
It was alright, pretty satisfied for a family trip. The only downside was that the bathroom had a bathtub for showering, and the showerhead was broken on the first night, couldn't hang it up. We told the staff the next day, and they immediately arranged for a replacement. Everything else was fine.
I come here often, and the front desk staff member, Li Yingjie, is always very welcoming. The room is also clean.
The Beijing Hotel has a great location, and the rooms are new and recently renovated. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the soundproofing is good. The hotel's front desk service is excellent; they are very responsive to requests. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely visit again.
The room was a bit old and small, but the service was good. They even provided a humidifier. The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the subway entrance. It's also convenient for dining out, though many restaurants in the Guomao commercial area have long queues. Great value for money, easy to find location with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk was very responsive and provided excellent service. The rooms were all very clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
The room was very spacious with a well-thought-out layout, including a dedicated work area. It was also quiet as it didn't face the street. The hot water was excellent, and the quality of the towels and toiletries was good. One suggestion: I hope the TV could be upgraded to a smart TV, allowing for screen mirroring from phones and the installation of apps like iQIYI.
The hygiene was good, and the bed sheets and duvet covers looked clean. The soundproofing was better than expected; I wasn't disturbed by noise at night. There's a small shop and a breakfast place downstairs, which was convenient for picking up necessities. It's a decent place with no major complaints.
The room was spacious, and the mattress was comfortable. The hot water for the shower came on quickly. The location is convenient, right outside there's a bus stop. Check-in at the front desk was fast and efficient, no fuss. Overall, it's good value for money, and I'd consider staying here again.
Traveling with kids, the front desk proactively offered children's toothbrushes and slippers, which were nice little touches that really added to the experience. The air conditioning was strong, and the Wi-Fi was fast. When checking out, I asked about nearby attractions, and the staff patiently answered my questions. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay.
The front desk service was excellent, and the facilities were well-equipped. The location was also great; the staff at the front desk recommended many delicious restaurants and fun places to visit. Although the hotel is quite old, the service is outstanding, and the rooms are much larger and more spacious compared to other hotels.

The hotel's hygiene and environment are excellent~ The room is comfortable and quiet, and the cleaning staff are incredibly meticulous 🥰 The front desk and bartender are also very enthusiastic. It was a wonderful experience.
Due to work, I stay here 2-3 nights a week. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the gym had some small equipment. As a fitness enthusiast, I need a foam roller and resistance bands for pre-workout warm-ups and post-workout stretching. I noticed they weren't available last week, and bringing my own this week was inconvenient. Basic foam rollers should really be provided.

Asia Hotel is a long-standing, star-rated hotel with an excellent location in a very bustling city center. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are a bit dated; otherwise, everything else is fine.
Really great, excellent in all aspects. The bedding was very comfortable and not at all old. Easy access to the upper and lower floors. The only downside was the first floor was a bit messy and crowded. Overall, it was really great, excellent in all aspects, and the bedding was very comfortable.
The hotel is situated near subway. There are cafes and stores around. English speaking front desk. Breakfast is mostly Chinese food. Furniture is quite old but still functioning.
I wouldn't really recommend this hotel, and my stay wasn't very satisfying. Here's why:
1. As a frequent business traveler who often gets complimentary breakfast for leaving good reviews, this was the first time I was refused at this hotel.
2. The facilities are outdated, the room is small, and the low ceiling makes it feel cramped and oppressive. It definitely doesn't live up to a five-star standard...

Pros: The room is very spacious, with a bathtub and two bay windows offering great views! It's also very convenient that food deliveries are brought up by a robot.
Cons: The comb was too soft; with my long hair, it just bent, so the quality isn't good.

Overall, it was a good stay. Check-out was quick, and it was convenient to store luggage and mail packages. Alina, one of the staff members, was very enthusiastic. The location is also quite good, with a small convenience store nearby, though it was closed for the holiday. However, it's close to Xidan Shopping Mall, so you can always go there.

Excellent location, very close to Exit 8 of China Art Museum Station on Line 8. The breakfast was rich and quite tasty. Lunch at the restaurant on the first floor was also reasonably priced, and the pancakes were delicious! The staff's service attitude was also very good. Overall, a great stay! 👍
Extremely satisfied! The hotel is clean and bright, the food is great, and the location is excellent. Housekeeping staff Auntie Zhuang was very polite, warm, and attentive. My child even wrote her a thank-you card! 😄
The location is super convenient, right by a subway entrance. It's just a few minutes' walk to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The room was really quiet, which made for a great stay.

The hotel service was excellent! They went above and beyond to help, always responsive and accommodating. My 91-year-old international friend was very happy with their stay here. I'm especially grateful to Ms. Zhao Xiu Ping, a cleaner, who was incredibly warm, meticulous, and patient in taking care of my friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you! May good people be blessed with peace their whole lives
Stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Overall, it's pretty good, with an average rating of 4.7. The room had a unique scent; after a while, I got used to it, but it was a bit off-putting at first. It's quite close to the Third Ring Road, so it can be a little noisy.
The rooms and restaurant were great, fully equipped with everything you need. The service was excellent too, and they even gave us a little gift when we checked out.
The service was incredibly thoughtful, and the location is excellent. It only took half an hour by taxi to Capital Airport, making it convenient to get anywhere! This stay, the hotel upgraded my room for free, thank you!
The room was clean, and the service was attentive and responsive to all requests. Special thanks to Xiao Qi!
The hotel's location is excellent, close to the subway station. The room was clean, tidy, quiet, and spacious. They accommodated my special requests, and the value for money is outstanding. The service was also very warm and welcoming.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent service.
The room was very spacious and quiet. The hotel was excellent and thoughtful, offering a complimentary upgrade to a room with an outside window. There are two subway lines within 500 meters, making it very convenient for getting around. There are also food options near the subway entrance!
