Staying at Kempinski on a business trip always gives me peace of mind. The location is excellent, with a connecting corridor directly outside that separates pedestrians from vehicles and offers shelter from the rain. Dining and shopping options nearby are also very convenient. My overall stay was perfect; the hygiene was top-notch, it was clean and quiet, and the staff were professional and polite. Flora provided thoughtful arrangements, was kind and gentle, and her service was professional and heartwarming, handling everything perfectly. Next time I'm in Shenzhen, this will definitely be my first choice again.

Traveled with a friend during the May Day holiday. The hotel's location is excellent; it's only a half-hour subway ride from the airport, even when arriving late at night. The surrounding area boasts a variety of shopping centers. The hotel itself is resplendent, offering a full sense of ancient luxury.

Mother's Day staycation with my mom! The hotel did an excellent job arranging the surprise cake and flowers for her. It's an old-school hotel with classic decor, and I especially want to mention how great the breakfast was!

The Kempinski Hotel's location is truly excellent, right next to the subway entrance, making it convenient to go anywhere. There are so many great restaurants nearby, the Poly Theatre is just across the street, and Shenzhen Bay MixC is only a few minutes away.

**Location:** The hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to Exit D2 of Houhai Station on Metro Line 2, and it's about a 5-minute walk to Shenzhen Bay Culture Plaza/MixC. Very convenient for transportation.
**Facilities:** The hotel facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable given it's been operating for over 20 years. The elevators have dim yellow lighting, and in the elevator lobby, there are two dark chairs with an incense burner placed between them – quite unsettling. If the lighting weren't so dim, it wouldn't be as startling when you step out. Both my child and I were quite scared.
The carpets inside the guest rooms also show their age, likely harboring dust mites, which isn't ideal for young children. My baby started getting rashes on the first day of our stay, so we had to wear long pants and long sleeves in the hotel and apply ointment. We even avoided using the room's sofa.
**Service:** The service was genuinely excellent. The staff were all very friendly and promptly helped us resolve any issues. It truly felt five-star. The hotel's breakfast was also fresh and abundant.
It would be perfect if the facilities could be renovated and the lighting brightened a bit.

This is an established five-star hotel with a truly impressive heritage, located right in the heart of Shenzhen Bay. The surrounding area offers incredibly convenient access to dining, entertainment, and shopping. The hotel's pool is fantastic, perfect for both relaxation and staying active during your stay. The breakfast spread is so extensive that I always end up eating too much! A big thank you to Candie for her excellent service, which made our family trip of four absolutely wonderful.
