We recently stayed at the edition in Sanya and had an amazing stay from start to finish.
Raha in Egret restaurant was such a lovely warm member of staff and the steak in Egret is incredible. The chefs there are amazing. We were lucky to stay long enough to try all on site restaurants and they were all fantastic. The adults only pool was fab so relaxing with such attentive staff. The grilled octopus was delicious highly recommend. The whole hotel design is incredible and everything was spotlessly clean. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily to a very high standard.

I highly highly recommend staying here and we will no doubt be back.

I had a really comfortable stay at The Sanya EDITION this time. The hotel's overall design is beautiful and gives off a great resort vibe. The pool is also excellent, perfect for a relaxing swim. The service was top-notch, and communication was very pleasant. Thanks for taking care of me! 🍻 I'm very satisfied overall and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya.

The Sanya EDITION is the best hotel experience I've had. What impressed me the most was the service provided by our butler, Wendy. She communicated our needs even before check-in and remained incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. All the essentials were provided, including kids' amenities, a dehumidifier, and various types of pillows. The entire experience was truly rejuvenating. Wendy was very responsible, responded promptly, and was incredibly observant. She even noticed my baby's hand had been bitten during check-in and brought mosquito repellent. Knowing my baby's napping routine, Wendy proactively asked if we needed a late check-out. Her thoughtful service made this vacation so much easier for me, traveling with both elderly family members and a child. All the staff members we encountered at the hotel were also very enthusiastic. I will definitely choose The EDITION again next time.

1. On the day of check-in, the hotel had a drone flying at low altitude for filming. We were not informed beforehand, and since the hotel offers private hot tubs on balconies, this caused a misunderstanding. The internal staff was also unaware until we reported it, after which they communicated internally.
2. Turndown service needs to be actively requested. Poly (another hotel/brand) proactively checks with guests and offers this service by 5 PM.
3. A performance was blocking the lobby, completely blocking the only exit. Guests had to squeeze through to get out.
4. During breakfast service, I was asked if I'd like an additional drink and ordered black tea. It was never delivered, even after an hour, until I finished my meal.
5. They do not offer food delivery service. The service is far inferior to Poly's.
6. They do not provide shuttle service when changing hotels within Haitang Bay.
I'm too lazy to complain about other minor details...

And this is supposed to be a top 100 international luxury hotel??

This is a very young and trendy hotel with many picturesque spots and abundant recreational facilities. The sea-view king room offers an excellent panoramic view, directly facing the ocean. The service is exceptional, with plenty of staff always available to assist. Our butler, Ultraman, was also incredibly meticulous and thoughtful.

The overall service was excellent, and there were many activities for the Mid-Autumn Festival, making it a very enjoyable holiday. The room wasn't basic at all; its design was very minimalist, which I personally loved. The hotel's beach bar was super chic and great for photos. Getting around the hotel by shuttle bus was also very convenient. Since I was traveling while pregnant, they provided a pregnancy pillow in the room and even upgraded my room to one with a fantastic view. Mira, the staff member in charge, was proactive and enthusiastic. Full marks for the experience! 💯

I booked two 'Trendy Seaview' rooms and was given rooms on the 7th floor. One had an absolutely fantastic sea view, while the other was slightly less impressive. Wendy added me on WeChat two days prior to our arrival to ask about our needs. Upon checking in, all the staff were incredibly enthusiastic; their service was top-notch. I loved everything about the hotel, from the soft services to the hardware.

The room had a great view and was spacious enough, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is perfect for taking photos; the pictures turned out so atmospheric, especially with good lighting. I didn't even want to leave the hotel! The lounge was also nice, and breakfast was fantastic. The hotel service was excellent, especially the young man Vincent. It was a very satisfying stay, and I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

The Edition truly exceeded my expectations. Tiara, our butler, was incredibly efficient. My child's birthday was just a few days away, and she arranged a delicious small cake (it was really good!). The hygiene was also excellent, and even on a rainy day, the public areas were beautiful. This trip, we tried both Tianlu Restaurant and Xianhai Cantonese Cuisine; personally, I preferred Tianlu.

Our butler, Ultraman, was incredibly thoughtful and communicative! We also received some “surprise gifts 🎁.” We're so satisfied with The Sanya EDITION! 😂🤣 The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic spread of Chinese and Western, savory and sweet options. You absolutely have to try the pickled vinegar wontons, almond slice bread, DIY mini hotpot 🍲, and especially the freshly squeezed juices. The room ambiance was also great. There were even morning yoga classes; I managed to attend the 7:30 AM class even while on vacation – the beach yoga was amazing! They also have water bikes, kayaks, and tandem options – I loved it all! It felt less like being in China and more like the Maldives, hehe.
