Overall, it was a great stay and very photogenic. The service was exceptional, especially from our butler KH, who was very attentive and responsive to all our needs. The pool and beach were fantastic, and the hotel grounds were full of palm trees, creating a wonderful holiday vibe. When the shuttle bus to the airport was full, they specially arranged a business van to take us, which we really appreciated!

The hotel is very close to the duty-free shop, and there's a concierge car that can take you to the entrance near the parking lot, which leads directly to Zone C – a truly amazing shopping experience! We enjoyed the magnificent sea view at the restaurant on the tenth floor. You need to buy a drink to experience it, but I think it would be great if they offered experience vouchers, or included the cost in the room rate, letting guests decide if they want to try it. The heated pool downstairs is the same temperature as outside, so it's impossible to swim in. However, the kids absolutely loved the courses at Baye Planet. Overall, the hotel has clear advantages, with the main downside being the inability to swim in the cold winter. The room service was good, and breakfast was decent. The paddleboarding on the river is also highly recommended!

My stay was fantastic! It was my birthday, and the front desk arranged for my room to be decorated for the occasion. They also offered a wonderful photoshoot. The photos turned out amazing! The guy who helped with the paddleboarding on the river was also great; he captured some truly natural and well-composed shots. The young lady who assisted with photo selection was incredibly gentle and thoughtful, and the retoucher's skill was so high it instantly boosted my confidence. A huge thanks to everyone!

I originally planned this trip to Sanya to accompany my daughter to Wang Leehom's concert. I booked two different hotels, and the Westin was by far my favorite. Extremely satisfied! The hotel grounds are expansive with beautiful scenery. Shopping is convenient, as it's close to duty-free shops. The beach is also lovely, and the river-style pool is super fun and great for photos. In the evening, there's a fantastic fire dance show that's quite impressive. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly and kept tidy. The EC (Executive Club/Concierge) service is very thoughtful; they contacted us even before check-in to ask about our needs and arrange services, which was really nice. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanya.

Booked two rooms, might have mixed up the reviews. Let me talk about the pool room – great for swimmers, too! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures on Trip.com.

Separately, I want to mention the service. The butler service was really genuine. When I gave feedback, it was immediately escalated to the manager for resolution. You can tell the hotel has high standards for itself and is very responsive. It's truly thoughtful service.

I brought my 83-year-old mother to Sanya, and we stayed at several hotels in Haitang Bay. The Westin's butler, Ella Chen, was incredibly thoughtful. She helped arrange our room in advance, upgraded it for us, and even shared information about nearby attractions and hotel services. The room itself showed a bit of age, likely due to the hotel being open for a while, but the overall environment, especially the pool where you can go boating, was quite picturesque and great for photos. Breakfast was excellent, particularly the Spices restaurant on the second floor, which offered a semi-buffet, à la carte style, and the food quality was very high. The Hainanese Zao Po Cu (a local vinegar dish) was a delicious mix of sour and spicy. The hotel's public areas were very clean; I often saw staff using floor scrubbers to clean the marble floors. Plus, there's a convenient passage from the hotel's back door that leads directly across the road to Zone C of the duty-free shop.
