Rosewood Hotel in Sanya

The overall experience at Sanya Poly Rosewood Hotel was quite outstanding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and all facilities were well-maintained. The front desk staff were friendly, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiaoyu, who was proactive, thoughtful, and quick to respond, adding a lot of convenience to our stay. The outdoor pool area was beautiful with clear water, making it a great place to relax. The hotel's overall design and landscape layout were also very thoughtfully done, perfect for taking atmospheric photos. Both the facilities and the service left a great impression.

The rooms are fantastic, especially 1201. Also, the staff member Pancho (the 'little crab') was incredibly responsive and the room service was excellent. It's nothing like the rumors say about poor service. I don't know the name of the housekeeping staff, but the hotel is very lucky to have such employees. I really admire the management of the housekeeping department.

The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast was beautifully prepared with a good variety of options. The environment is lovely, and they even offer a service to change mattresses and pillows. The travel photography was also top-notch.

This hotel completely met my expectations in terms of overall quality. I booked a room type with a private butler, and ours, named Little Crab 🦀, was incredibly attentive. They were always one step ahead, anticipating and resolving any issues before we even had to ask. They even arranged a special car transfer for our airport trip at the end.

This was our first time staying at the Rosewood Poly, and since my wife is pregnant, I mentioned it to the butler. They were very thoughtful and even helped with some scent treatment, as all hotel rooms are non-smoking. The room layout was great, with a continuous sea view that was very relaxing, and I particularly loved the bathtub. A big thank you to our butler, Xiaofudou, for their attentive care throughout our stay and for reminding us about various amenities, making our visit very comfortable.

Let's start with the highlight: Ella from Guest Relations. Her service attitude was absolutely outstanding. She arranged the room exactly as requested in advance (I didn't ask for a free upgrade, just a high floor and away from the elevator). And since I don't drink alcohol, the soft drinks and beer in the room were replaced with sugar-free Coke. It truly exceeded my expectations.

Regarding the hotel itself, I've stayed at the Rosewood Guangzhou before and was quite satisfied, so I chose the same brand this time. The public areas are beautifully designed, and the pools are gorgeous, especially the infinity pool on the 13th floor. There's also a private lawn and an exclusive beach, perfect for taking photos, especially for women.

The gym has good equipment brands, but for a hotel of this caliber, the free weights section is a bit small, and the overall area isn't very large. But then again, not many people hit the gym at a resort hotel, haha.

The room design was also perfectly fine; it's definitely my style. Just one minor thing about the shampoo: since they use large bottles, could they make the opening a bit wider? It's quite difficult to squeeze out right now.

For breakfast, I only went to the semi-buffet on the 13th floor. I particularly want to praise the wontons and noodle station; the soup was piping hot, which is heaven for someone like me who dislikes lukewarm food. And the seasoning of the wontons and soup themselves was also fantastic. My only suggestion is that since the hotel has two breakfast spots, perhaps one could start at 6:30 AM. After all, many people come to Sanya for golf, and with early tee times, a 7:00 AM breakfast is a bit late. Missing breakfast is a shame, and playing golf on an empty stomach isn't ideal.

All in all, I'm still very satisfied with Rosewood. Next stop, Beijing!

Staying in the 180-degree cloud-view twin room at Sanya Poly Rosewood was an absolute dream! Being on a high floor, the view was completely unobstructed. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed Haitang Bay and Wuzhizhou Island's azure waters and blue skies like a living wallpaper. I could watch the sunrise and sunset right from my bed – the 180° sea view truly lived up to its reputation.

The room was spacious and airy, and the twin beds were comfortable without feeling cramped. With Frette linens, a Dyson hairdryer, Lorenzo Villoresi toiletries, and a Nespresso machine, every detail was meticulously thought out, exuding quality. The oversized balcony with lounge chairs was perfect for relaxing with the sea breeze and watching the evening glow – incredibly therapeutic. The sea-view bathtub, facing the ocean while bathing, was pure bliss. The welcome amenities, complimentary mini-bar, and prompt butler service were excellent. The public areas, like the 13th-floor infinity pool and the artistic lobby, were 100% photo-worthy. The entire stay was quiet and private, truly the pinnacle of a vacation. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Sanya – you can't go wrong! Xiao Fudou's service was incredibly thoughtful, highly recommend.

The service was absolutely amazing! The butler even sent sparkling wine and a late-night snack, and helped us with a late check-out. Breakfast was delicious (much better than the Edition's!), especially since it's served until noon and there's an à la carte menu – a godsend for late risers. Both the infinity pool on the top floor and the large pool on the first floor are great, with excellent amenities and service. Perfect! 😍

Overall, it was great. I've stayed at several Rosewood properties before, but this time I got an even better room type: a pool room. All departments at the hotel were excellent: polite, friendly, and thoughtful. The butler service was also spot on, with caring greetings and proactive fulfillment of any requests. Since I stayed for four consecutive nights, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary floating afternoon tea – what a delight! The breakfast on the 13th floor was very good, and the staff there were attentive and considerate. The service at several restaurants (Fish House, Dong Kitchen, Izakaya) was impeccable, and the spa service was also very good (though the travel photography service was a bit...). Overall, I had a great experience and will continue to support this brand!

The stay experience was very good this time, the service of EDA was very good, and I had a very happy stay. I will come again next time.
