It is a practical and affordable stay in Wan Chai, especially if you want easy access to food spots, shops, and transportation. Just don’t expect the rooms to be big (you get what you pay for). Also note that the hotel doesn’t provide free water bottles or toothbrushes, but you can easily buy them on the 1st floor, so it’s not a big hassle.

The only downside is that the hotel is a bit tucked inside, behind the buildings along the main road, so finding it for the first time can be a little tricky. But once you know the way, it’s manageable.

I highly recommend requesting a room on a higher floor. The view is amazing– you get that “domino of buildings” skyline that Hong Kong is known for. It’s definitely worth it if you enjoy city views.

Overall, it’s a budget‑friendly stay in a great location, with a few things to manage depending on your expectations.

Good location and staff make up the rooms nicely.

The rooms are awfully cosy, bathroom door doesn't lock (there's also no handle- it's a slider) and the roof seems to drip in new places each day.

That being said, it's clean and comfortable.

If you plan to visit HK on a budget, don't hesitate, this place is yours! Difficult to beat the value for money.
Don't mind the negative reviews, if you're looking for a room to crash after long and busy day in the city, Best Western will do the job. The hotel is almost walking distance to everything with MTR and tram at door step. Rooms might be quite small, but offers enough comfort to reload some energy. Pick this hotel if your aim is only to sleep, else accept to pay 4 or 5x if your criteria are luxury and show-off

Hotel location is the best❤️💫 place is nice and beautiful , but the service is disappointing. No amenities(no tootbrushes, combs, robe)as u have them in lower quality hotels. Even water bottles, u want, they charge, not a big deal but shockingly wasn't expecting from high quality hotel 😅 . Rooms are small , u can hardly move not to bump on anything 😅but thats okay, the terrace is big and good🙏❤️if you are looking place with good view,(for nice pictures for ladies) big balcony and relaxation , that place is good❤️

I got a stark lesson in room size in comparison to American hotels. The room was very small and in my opinion, only good for one occupant. I had a large suitcase and it took up a lot of space, by itself. The room was clean, but the mattress was so ridiculously firm that it felt like I was on a trampoline. I was expecting more from a four star hotel. Check-in was hassle free and quick and though the neighborhood it was in was old and rundown, it had character and the neighborhood market was a thing to see. So vibrant and bustling. Short walks to Times Square Mall, Victoria Park, the ferry service, plus different restaurants and the metro station were definite pluses.

Really accessible if you want to be close to Timesquare. There’s a laundry shop nearby thats really affordable too you can get your clothes within the same day. Elevators in this hotel functions really fast too!

This is my 4th stay in a room on the 39th floor. Everything was fine before. Unfortunately, this time I had to spend a lot of time and nerves, which was not part of my plans. The pool on the 39th floor next to the room was used by a homeless person to spend the night. In addition, he smoked, shook ashes into the pool, and drank alcohol. All this happened on the only sun lounger. This is only what I saw passing by in the evening and at night. Unfortunately, the staff could not solve the problem the first time I asked and I had to ask for help at least 5 times. In the end, they offered me to act as a surveillance camera and if a homeless person appears, to inform them. Thank you very much. Of course, I understand the mentality of people in Hong Kong, but in China, I can hardly even imagine such a situation. I strongly advise against using this pool and staying on the top floor due to a serious security breach. Anyone from the street can enter your territory, since it is separated only by a low partition. My things were not in the room, but after entering the door. Unfortunately, after leaving, I discovered that a bottle of perfume was missing. The money and documents were in the safe, everything was fine with them. I think this is due to this person entering my territory. I closed the door to the room at night and the balcony. Perhaps this saved my valuables. In the middle of my vacation, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It was really gigantic. Thanks to the cleaning service. They were able to catch it and take it away. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of guests. Therefore, I will not give a bad rating to my favorite chain.
I usually don't write reviews about hotels. And in such detail. But this time my wife made me write. She serves in the police and is very attentive to security issues. She said that she was very worried about having a stranger nearby. I think this is an exaggeration. She was probably offended that she was not congratulated on her birthday in this hotel, as she is used to in other hotels with a card or a compliment. She just happened to have a birthday when she checked in 😁😁😁

Amazing hotel, great location and the pool is very nice

The location is good. Small room and small bathroom and you don't expect to stay in the room for long. Jacuzzi with the view is amazing, however the Jacuzzi has been leaking so that is a bit disappointed. The security isn't good and without key you can still manage to get into the room.
