Toy Story Hotel in Shanghai

A very wonderful experience and everyone enjoyed it, whether adults or children.

We are very grateful to the Toys Story Hotel team for providing a birthday cake for my daughter. She was very happy with the cake. 🥰🥰🥰 we all enjoyed the hotel very much. Surely will be back.

our staycation in toy story hotel is one of memorable experience. lucky on our first day, we get to meet n greet with the characters. worth the price

Smallish room, but clean. Pillows on the softer side. Toilet had a standing shower in a bath tub, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a step stool for kids.
Cleaner left a little note (in Mandarin) to say that she placed an anti-slip mat on the toilet countertop for my toiletries, which I appreciated.
The walk from the lift to the room was quite far though.
Perks of staying in a Disney hotel - 1 hour early entry to Shanghai Disneyland, so make good use of that! Also, as a guest staying in a Disney hotel, you can buy a half-day ticket to the park at the hotel concierge.
Breakfast options were decent, and there's a play room for kids to do some art and craft.

One of our greatest experiences at this hotel, Toy Story is our favourite Pixar movie and we enjoyed every corner of this hotel, the design and service were excellent and it's only 5 mins away from Disneyland with a free shuttle provided by the hotel every 10 mins from and to the land.

I didn’t realize the hotel was so strict about booking information. I was worried because my husband had made the reservation for me, and I thought I might not be able to check in if the guest name didn’t match my ID.
However, I really appreciate the duty manager and staff for their help. They understood my situation, provided helpful suggestions, and ensured a smooth check-in process. 😂
This experience reminded me that we should always follow Disney hotel policies, as they are consistently applied worldwide.
I had a wonderful time at Disneyland with my friend! Staying at the Toy Story Hotel was so convenient, and the service was excellent. I’d love to stay there again on my next visit.

Convenient place to stay if you are visiting Disneyland. The hotel keycard enables hotel guests to enter the theme park 1 hr earlier. Earliest shuttle bus to theme park is 0705am and the wait time is short. Disneytown besides Disneyland has lotsa food options. Hotel breakfast is acceptable, starts at 630am. Hotel was bustling with large groups of families intended for Disneyland only. There were plenty of entertainment (movies, table games e.g. table futsal, play room) within the hotel to keep children engaged, while waiting at check-in or general play. Hotel size was adequate for a short stay. Available complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland and Disneytown. Queues for shuttle service started early, staff service to direct the queues could be improved, such as directing people to queue under sheltered areas rather than under the rain.

Friendly staff, efficient & fast service.
pricing is of course a bit higher than city center but affordable and value for money, especially because of Hotel resident's early entrance to Disney land.

Convenient for Disney trip at the lower budget than the Shanghai Disney hotel. Both are within the same distance from the park and have complimentary shuttle every 5 mins during peak morning and evening and 15 mins in between. Hotel are clean and the service are great as expected from a Disney hotel. Woody and Jesse made frequent appearances throughout the day from check in lobby, garden children activities etc. the hotel offers kids activities throughout out the day should you are not taking the day in the Disneyland park itself. Interior of the public area of the hotel are nicely decorated with all Toy story details and decorations. Inside the room felt a little less but still have the vibe.

The stay in the hotel automatically grants early daily entry pass up to one hour before the parks open on the day of stay and day of departure. Note that the theme park tickets are still required and need to be purchased separately.

By staying in the hotel, it will allow you to shop within the park and have it sent directly to your hotel up until 4 pm. After that you will need to carry your shopping yourself back to the hotel.

Shopping within the hotel is available through 1 store which is Lotso shop. They do have Disney exclusive merch from time to time which requires a lottery to purchase if you are only visiting the park. Which is a nice small bonus.

Overall a great Disney accommodation and convenience if you are travelling with Kids and could afford within your budget
