Banyan Tree Hangzhou in Hangzhou

My stay at Banyan Tree Hangzhou Xixi was absolutely fantastic. Olive from the staff contacted me beforehand to ask about my needs and helped prepare the room exactly as I requested. The hotel's service was warm and attentive, the facilities were well-equipped, everything was clean, and the environment was beautiful, perfect for a vacation. A truly wonderful check-in experience.

Xixi Wetland in May is absolutely breathtaking, like a fairyland. We spent the weekend at the Banyan Tree, a classic luxury hotel, and stepping into the lobby felt like entering a Jiangnan fairytale! Our butler, Olive, provided exceptional service; she contacted us before arrival with a warm greeting and thoughtfully upgraded our room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with a well-designed layout and classical aesthetics. Enjoying tea on the balcony while admiring the view was incredibly pleasant! The charm of the details was evident everywhere, from the tea sets and welcome fruit to the exquisite bookmarks and little gift of pastries. All the staff were incredibly warm and polite. The electric buggy service for short transfers was very convenient. Breakfast was refined, rich, and delicious. After breakfast, we took a lovely stroll around the hotel, watching the fish and ducks play in the water. We had a wonderful holiday!

From Lijiang and Shanghai, all the way to Banyan Tree Hangzhou. The lake-view courtyard style here is absolutely stunning for photos. I felt right at home, so comfortable, relaxed, and happy. When I got tired, I'd just quietly sip tea, sing, recite poetry, watch the fish, and even walk the duck… So many beautiful memories. A big thank you again to Olive for the hospitality. Life here was wonderful; I posted dozens of moments on WeChat. I left my carefree self here, hoping to inspire even more people! Banyan Tree is definitely worth revisiting, love you! 🤭🥰🤗

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, nestled right within Xixi Wetland Park. It even boasts its own private dock and waterways. The rooms are beautiful, featuring classic pavilions, towers, and charming bridges over flowing streams – truly embodying the poetic essence of Jiangnan, like 'a dream by the water' and 'last night, the east wind again visited the small building.' Breakfast was also excellent, not just for show, but genuinely delicious.

Banyan Tree truly lives up to its name. While it may not have the smart features of newer hotels, it's still incredibly comfortable and elegant. The breakfast was excellent, and sitting outdoors was even more enjoyable. The courtyard remains wonderfully natural, comfortable, and harmonious. The service, as always, was exceptional. A special shout-out to the front desk staff; after adding them on WeChat, they were always prompt and efficient in their replies, and even more impressive, beautiful and poised even without makeup. Worth every penny.

The hotel's environment and service are excellent. The room is very spacious, and it was so relaxing for our family to chat over tea on the water-view balcony. The hotel also offers a rich variety of activities, such as boat tours, bird watching, and handicrafts. The kids had an amazing time!

Alright, the service was pretty good. They proactively apologized and corrected issues when they arose, and even gave me a small gift. Their attitude was excellent, much better than Aman's 😄

We had a dedicated butler, Olive, who was always online and incredibly responsive to all our requests. It's conveniently located not far from Xixi Wetland Park, just a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel also has its own boats and lake area, allowing you to enjoy peace and quiet away from the crowds and avoid queues.
