The hotel's environment is great, and the sunset sea view is superb! However, the cleanliness of the guest rooms was a letdown, and the service was just so-so! Services, location and facilities are excellent. Only food quality is good, while price is not so expensive. For a 5 Star Hotel, the TVs are absolutely tiny and so outdated you can’t even mirror your phone or get Netflix on them. No coffee machine in the room is also terrible for a 5 Star property. Trying to get coffee at Breakfast was even a task. Drink is extremely expensive and the lunch and evening meal we had there was very poor quality.. Would not return

The hotel has a beautiful view, and there's a bus right outside that goes straight to the old town, which is very convenient and comfortable.

Out stay was fantastic! Hotel staff was attentive, responsive and accommodating. The only things I’d change is maybe adding a shop fir guests to get snacks in between meals. But otherwise, fabulous stay, WONDERFUL location. I will definitely return!

The hotels in this city are not cost-effective, but the location and facilities of this hotel are justified. There is a band playing by the pool at night, and it is crowded during the day. The service attitude of the front desk still has the flavor of yogoslave, which is integrated into the capitalist European countries but also has the arrogance of a state-owned guesthouse.

The hotel's hygiene and environment are very good. The hotel is located in the Lapad district, suitable for tourists who like quietness. There is everything nearby, including restaurants, supermarkets, public beaches, local tour meeting points, and bus line 6 goes directly to the old town.

Dubrovnik does not have a lot of hotels compared to the vast amounts of tourists that come here (mostly there are apartments or mini hotels). The bigger ones that are, are pricey to say the least (especially when booked last minute). Hotel lapad is fine. When I was here it was full with pensionados on package tours. Quite busy everywhere, but if you can avoid the crowded spaces you're fine.

We had a truly lovely time at this hotel last week. Spotless. Bedding and towels changed each day, even tho we would have re used towels. Little surprise arrives each evening ! Second time staying in this wonderful hotel! The views are breathtaking and it is an easy stroll to the old town. Breakfast is delicious, a lot of variety and access to the beach is via a lift. There is sun loungers and towels, it is a lovely area to relax!

Great ocean swimming is available. If you bring regular goggles, you can swim while snorkeling. I spent over 700,000 won per night for four nights, but excluding the ocean swimming, it's not a good value. I thought 300,000 won per night would be more reasonable. Unfortunately, the pool bar was closed, and the pool was emptied after one day, despite perfect swimming weather (23 degrees Celsius and sunshine) and despite the promise that the outdoor pool would be open during our stay, as requested in advance. I think we had the best sea view room. The room is newly furnished. It’s simple and clean. It’s actually old hotel but we were lucky we got a newly renovated one. The front receptionist are polite , helpful. Breakfast is many varieties but the taste is so so. I will certainly book again.

there is a serious sewage smell problem in the bay effecting a wide area depending on the wind. eventhough sea looks great the noise at the beach due to constructions going on at the bay and the sewage tank smell, swimming is not tempting. the situation is not specific to the vis hotel effects many hotels at the bay.

This was our first stop in Croatia. A relaxing retreat by the ocean. We loved the breakfast, easy parking, walkable to restaurants and the beach. Definitely a case of paying for location. It was twice as much as other smart hotels eg hilton and rixos which are both within an easy walk to the city walls. Having paid over £400 per night for the room we were disappointed to find ourselves in an attic with no windows-just a skylight. Also our heating/air con unit did not work.

Great hotel with the best location in Dubrovnik (if you want to be in the old town). Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Excellent with one but. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Great porterage service to/from taxis and buses. Excellent breakfast. Let down only by room replenishment - water, tea bags, toilet rolls not stocked up over a 4 night stay. Given the hotel costs over €500 per night this was poor.

Base on location this hotel is located very near old town of Dubrovnik. Is within walking distance and their breakfast is a highlights.

The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the Dubrovnik Old Town, just a couple of minutes walk to the Pile Gate. Thus you can visit the Dubrovnik Old Town during different hours of the day to avoid the crowds and see the Old Town during day time and night time. Also convienenantly located near bus stop for buses to LAPAD region which have less expensive dining options. The breakfast is good...
