The hotel was an older hotel and had the look of an older establishment. The breakfast area in the dining area was cramped and the menu was a bit disappointing, needed an upgrade. Price wise not great value.

The room was cheap and was easy walking distance to the TP Line Ferry. The breakfast was very good for the price. The room was a bit smelly and the 2 single beds we selected on ******* was a double (mistake at the property).

Nice little stay. Lovely little place and room. Small window but a great view. Perfect location to reach local shops, ferries, boat rides, and the bus station. Nina was very nice and hospitable. Good if you only need to sleep in the room which worked well for us for only one night.

Warm and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable. Great wifi. About 15 minute walk from the the Old Town. We liked being able to get away from the masses of people inside the walls. Very peaceful location. Villa Katarina is (like a lot of places in Dubrovnik) on a pedestrian only walkway with stairs. Close to several mini-markets that carry the essentials.

Our hostess, Katarina herself, made us feel very welcomed in her home. The individual apartment rooms were clean and satisfactory for our needs. A lovely terrace in the sun to have happy hour and Katarina graciously gifted us some local wine, beer and oranges right off her trees in the yard. Beautiful garden. We had an easy walk down to Old Town.

Very sweet and friendly host. Comfortable accommodation with nice view from the window. The only issue is that this place is listed as Villa KatErina on Google. Villa KatArina is at a different location about 5 km away. I went there first and had to pay extra for my taxi. I did inform the owner of this.

Area felt very safe and secure, nice patio, renovated interior. Owners were very nice and welcoming! Only thing was that the shower was a bit small and water would get everywhere on the floor.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. Our room was equipped well and served our purposes during our stay. There was a shuttle bus to and from Dubrovnik at certain times of the day, at a cost of €4 each way which we thought was reasonable. Overall average rating and a bit disappointed Lots of reviews said staff very friendly however I didn’t feel the same . I suspect reviewers were taking about different staff. There was 1 person there to do breakfast and deal with visitors. I think because it was end of season he was exhausted and I personally felt awkward asking for anything .

We have just got back from a 7 night, half board stay and what can I say but WOW!! The hosts are fantastic and couldn't do more for us, Nika arranging trips and transport and Igor with his lovely food that was tasty and well presented. Rooms and bedding were checked everyday. This is a gem of a place and we will be returning in 2027

Just got back from a fortnight staying at Villa Lanterna...location is nice but the accommodation is poor...room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there...only service provided was towels and toilet rolls when we requested them...bedding changed 3 days into holiday then left the rest of the time. Reception, drivers and kitchen staff were very pleasant and helpful...housekeeping not so much.

We had a nine night stay in this beautiful place. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Doris and Ivana at reception did everything they could to make our stay memorable. The room was tidied every day and fresh towels were also left every day. The shuttle bus into Dubrovnik goes three times a day and they come and pick you back up , for not a lot of money. I would definitely go there again

A very friendly family run this who welcome you at checkin. it does have some crazy parking available on the road and entrance. But after that they manage moving your car if you have one. I also saw a motorbike protected in the court yard. A great 2 bedroom apt, one clean bathroom and daily upkeep… replace coffee, towels and a clean (excellent). no cooking facilities but a kettle, fridge and wine glasses...

Very convenient place to stay. Room was comfortable. It's a family home and owners are relaxed and helpful. ******* listed laundry facilities on site however that wasn't the case. We used the nicest public laundry just a short walk from Villa Dard. We didn't need our car so it was parked onsite for 3 days.

Located outside Old Town only 15 minute walk but uphill. Wonderful attentive host. Free parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Nice to be outside the craziness of Old Town Dubrovnik but it is a bit of a hike up if you’re not able bodied.

Read the fine print when you book as it says one has to give advance notice if want to use free parking. They still accommodated us. The pictures have since changed to show the correct inside as when we booked and what we got, was different. Also be aware there are no elevators. We had to carry the luggage to 3rd floor. Just returned from a 3 night stay here. Good comms from the host about our really late arrival - our key was in a lock box and we found it no problem. I just spent a week at this hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is spotless and the staff are all super friendly. It is up the hill a bit but you can take the no 10 bus one stop and then walk back down if hills aren't your thing! If you go to Cavtat, you should definitely stay here.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff... I stayed in early May and Marine and Nicolina at the front desk were amazing. I hope I got their names right because I would always mess up their names and we would laugh about it. Hyee I just visited hotel lumbarda in this month, and I was mesmerized to see their luxurious accommodations. Their staff behaviour is also excellent especially mohit, and I would love to visit again.. thanks to all staff for your love and service.

The hotel is very well located in the town with wonderful views across the water from our room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and large portions. Supermarket and pizza restaurant are super close by. Staff were very helpful and kind. Pool area was very clean and inviting. Price for accommodation including breakfast was very good.

This boutique hotel was the perfect place to stay for my Old City Dubrovnik visit! The staff are pleasant and helpful and the room was fantastic. The hotel is a block off the main thoroughfare (Placa) and was quiet in the evenings. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I’d stay here again on my next trip. Highly recommend!

The hotel has a beautiful location. Right by the sea and beach, so there is an amazing view from the window. Very close to the port and right on the promenade. Great family hotel in the very centre of the island, just 1 minute away from the ferry. Superb view, very clean rooms and amazing staff are reasons why I will come back. The hotel has a very "homey" and Mediterranean touch. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you.

This was a final stop on a long trip booked by accident and was hands down the best place of our trip. A wonderful family takes loving care of this beautiful seaside retreat. Above and beyond being the normal for this cozy spot,with a top floor room the sunrise and sunset are epic.

From the main road, you can walk or take a bus to either side of Dubrovnik with ease, and the buses are very frequent. The owner is very friendly and helpful, they responded to all our requests very quickly. The villa is ok, room is a bit small, but with everything you would need. Location is a bit far from old town(20 minutes walk). You can use the kitchen, but the coffee maker is way too small and the kettle is not very clean inside.

We slept there 1 night as a stopover to Monte***** Small cozy bay, with 2 restaurants. Air conditioning and refrigerator in the accommodation worked fine, reception and explanation from the couple was very good.

I stayed here with my 4 children and it was excellent in every way! Anka was a wonderful host - we were greeted with Croatian cake and liqueur and my children were invited to pick oranges from the trees in the garden.
