Slavija Culture Heritage Hotel in Split

I'm a Portuguese woman visiting Split for the first time, and I have to say that Hotel Slavija is the perfect place to stay. It's conveniently located inside Diocletian's Palace and also very close to all the main tourist attractions, such as beaches, the river, bars, cafes, restaurants, and museums. This hotel is very comfortable and clean, and it has all the amenities a tourist could need. It's really interesting that all the photos on their website are real-life photos, and they really show what the hotel is like. It's really easy to fall in love with Split; the city is beautiful, and all its historical sites are simply breathtaking. It's exactly what I expected :)

Terrific boutique hotel in a historic building in the old city of Split. Great service, too. Recommended.

Positives:
Beautiful hotel and rooms. Lovely reception staff. Beautiful rooftop terrace which is a rarity in the palace.

Negatives:
Croatia as a whole seems to have poor quality towels. Shower was tiny and water pressure wasn’t great.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, modern, I had a little balcony overlooking the charming stone streets/buildings and surrounded by so much history. It’s in the middle of the old town and so accessible to everything. The staff was so delightful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was excellent and I loved that I could order any eggs that that wanted. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for everything! 🤍

Incredibly friendly staff, beautiful room with a little balcony and view. Prime location next to the water and in beautiful old town. This is definitely the hotel to stay at while in Split. Dog friendly is an understatement as well, the whole staff loved our boy despite him being shy.

I stayed at the Slavija Hotel and my experience was fantastic! I stayed for 5 nights and the whole time I felt welcomed by the staff, which is very kind and helpful!
The rooms and all other facilities where I was at some point were very clean and in good conditions. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is very good as it is in the very center of the city, inside the Diocletian's palace, where you can feel the magic of the town every morning you wake up!
