Lovely location close to the main attractions but tucked away so plenty of privacy. The building and grounds are very secure (main entrance to grounds keycode and each apartment has 2 locks) the owner was very hospitable, offered to carry our cases up and down the stairs as they were quite heavy. The apartment was very rustic and each one has a private covered patio which is great for sitting on an evening. Personally I loved the layout and style of the apartment, even if it is a bit dark, it was comfortable and cozy and the bed was lovely and clean. And to the review that says the apartments "were like a prison" if jail cells looked like this then I'd happily get locked up 😂

Lovely and convenient. The owner was great and I loved the patio and garden area. It is steps from the old town and also right nights to stairs that go up to watch the sunset overlooking the town and water. Really Great place, i just wish we could have stayed longer.

We had excellent quiet and comfortable rooms with kitchenettes. The setting was close to the old town and marina but away from the huge number of tourists, a calm retreat with lovely garden terraces to sit out on. Our host was Nicola who was extremely helpful and generous. He gave us information for our visit , arranged taxis . I left my apple airpods in our room and resent them back to me in the UK...to my great relief. He refused my offers of payment...such good service. I would thoroughly recommend this place and will return myself.

An excellent palace to stay. Location was fabulous - about 1 min from the promenade and less than 5 mins into the heart of the old town. Some really lovely restaurants 1 min away. Perfect location to explore split and could walk everywhere from this hotel. Location felt very safe. Our room was lovely - clean, spacious and quiet. We would stay here again.

Unprofessional & not honest.. We booked a room for 4 people & when arriving they said the room is only for 2 & we need to book another room. Even thou the booking clearly says cottage with 4 beds accommodating 4 people. After some discussions he agreed to cancel but when I left & called the booking agency they said he did not cancel &.That he said he can’t provide a refund. The rooms look more like a prison than a hotel. Avoid at all costs

We had a great stay in Split at the Garden Apartment Hotel. It is very well located right near the old town and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Each apartment is different so it's worth having a look at the options to see what will work best for you - the apartments with garden or terrace are nice. Nikole was available to help with any questions we had, and went above and beyond to assist us when we left our phone at the hotel, arranging to get it to us in another city. Would recommend.

Overbooked accommodation. Alternatives provided.
Well, I turned up at the hotel shortly before 11pm after an evening flight, and I found that the accommodation was overbooked. This was slightly annoying, but to be fair, I was provided with alternative accommodation. The first night I spent in an apartment with a room with two beds and there was a bathroom. I was just glad to have a room to get some sleep. The following day, I spent time in a different place. This time the room was more spacious and there was a fridge and cooker there. I did not stay at the booked accommodation, but to be fair, I was provided with alternative accommodation at no extra cost to me.

Very nice accommodation, perfectly located near Riva Promenade, everything is very easy to get to and walk to ! Lots of restaurants, sight seeing, tours, buses, shopping, all on your door step! The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and very nice. Very easy to book, I communicated with them via what’s app and was super easy, from check-in to check out. Great place to stay and highly recommended
