The rooms were great. Clean, nice, comfortable, and warm. The hotel staff was also wonderful. The only issue is that it says on Booking that there is parking, but we actually had to pay for the city garage located in the hotel building. That was a very unpleasant surprise. Also, they could improve the breakfast offer.. for such a good hotel, the food selection was very limited, especially the salads.

Positives - the room itself was spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. We booked a superior room with a balcony on the 3rd floor and were very happy with the space and facilities.
However, we found several negatives that impacted our stay. The staff generally came across as uninterested and not particularly friendly throughout our visit. Unfortunately, we also had two nights of disturbed sleep due to extremely loud music and shouting from events taking place at the hotel. The noise continued well into the early hours and, despite speaking to reception, nothing was really done to address it.
The hotel is in a convenient central location, but it feels very corporate and lacks character. The reception entrance is quite unusual and feels more like walking into a shopping centre or car park than a hotel lobby. Breakfast offered an acceptable variety, but the dining area—set inside a large function room—felt purely functional and again lacked any atmosphere.
Checkout was quick and efficient, but again, there were no pleasantries or friendliness from staff.
Overall, this hotel may be more suited to business travellers, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone visiting for leisure or a tourist trip.

Modern hotel with friendly staff in a great position in the old part of town. Easy access to city attractions and transport. Good breakfast with everything you need to start the day. Would certainly recommend and return again.

Would like to see more choices of fresh Croatian fruits less from the cans. More real Croatian bakery. Less western kind of food.

Great location, friendly staff, spacious twin room.
Shower was tricky - there’s a ring underneath the connection that you need to pull but no instruction or explanation on arrival. Glad it was the 2 of us - so one can walked to the receptionist upon failing to call (the only front desk lady was busy serving other customer & wasn’t able to pick up the phone!)
We stayed where a wedding was happening & at 4am - the drunk guests of the wedding was making so much noise & woke us up.
Kettle - tea & coffee is free but has to be requested.
Breakfast was great! Various choices & was good.
Shower was tricky - there’s a ring underneath the connection that you need to pull but no instruction or explanation on arrival. Glad it was the 2 of us - so one can walked to the receptionist upon failing to call (the only front desk lady was busy serving other customer & wasn’t able to pick up the phone!)

There were no clear instructions on how to operate the shower, then no one was answering the phone so had to get dressed again and walk to reception to ask.
Tea, coffee and kettle is not included.
The quality of the towels (in the whole of Croatia it has turned out) is shocking. I wouldn’t even wipe my feet with them. Then, despite the signage about sustainability and putting towels on the floor if you want them replaced, they replaced all the towels we had hung up anyway. They even threw away the soap we had just opened and replaced it with a new one.
They put us next door to a couple who had just gotten married that day and on the same floor as all their wedding guests. We were woken up at 4.30am by all sorts of screeching and wailing. Delightful after a 20 hour flight.
Lastly, the ends of the curtains weren’t fixed to the rail so when you pulled them they just kept going all the way across 😑

It was clean and the breakfast was decent. The reception staff was friendly.

The room and bathroom are both large, the bed is very comfortable, be careful with the hot shower water. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, and there are a lot of food on the whole street on the left. It is very convenient to go out and the upper and lower cities are within walking distance.
