Hotel Golden City Garni in Prague

I booked a twin room which turned spacious and we'll equiped with AC, Microwave, Fridge and a double bed plus a single bed. The access to the third floor is through elevator which was I was tahnkfulg for after a long walking day throughout the city. Breakfast is simple, but varied, so you can find your options for sure, and of course you can always find things to improve.

The overall is a very handy.hotel in an area that I like even more than the first time I visited Zuzkov. In the maps looks far from the city attractions but is only 15 mins in tram away from everywhere.

Situated in a quiet, charming neighborhood that still has everything you need nearby. The tram stop is just around the corner and it only takes about 10 minutes to get to the Old Town. The room is very clean and has AC. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights. The room was perfect for one person, there was anything I needed and everything was clean and working very well, including the air conditioning.
The service was great, the receptionist helped me with everything I needed including how to reach the principal attractions of Prague. The place is peacefull and in a perfect zone of Prague and there is a tram stop at 10 meters from the hotel. Very nice value for money, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Prague

We were traveling as a family of four, and booked the two-room apartment, which was perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, though basic, and relatively quiet. The hotel is right on a few bus/trolley lines, and though location means you’re a little out of the way, the city center is an easy 15-20 minutes by the bus/trolley.

The hotel is an older building, but it had an elevator and a delicious breakfast, which was nice. The room was clean and I had no major inconveniences during my stay. Overall, I was satisfied with the accommodation.

We booked a room for 3 adults. The room was very spacious and clean with a kitchenette.
Breakfast was delicious and had slight variations over 2 days.

Tram station is right in front of the hotel. 10-minute ride to the charming old city. Otherwise it is 40 min walk.

Delicious breakfast and a great retro room

The hotel looks old. The room is small and I have a rather big suitcase which made things harder. There are no hooks or whatever in the bathroom for you to hang your towels. There’s a smell in the hotel lobby and the room and I don’t know if it’s a bad smell or a really bad perfume. The heater can be stronger and the water can be hotter too, IMO. Provided: fridge, TV, WiFi, hangers, safe, microwave, kettle. As a female traveller, I’m also surprised that this hotel provided cotton pads (those for removing makeup) in the bathroom, I think it’s the first hotel I’ve seen that does this. I stored my luggage when I checked out, it’s just a room that’s not locked, but there is a safe and a sign that says for valuables like laptop and camera you can contact the staff. Breakfast buffet was alright, not too many options. Close to a tram station so you can easily go anywhere. Considering its price and the fact that breakfast is included, this is a good budget hotel, and I wouldn’t complain too much.
