Very nice swimming pool and healthy breakfast.
Our stay at The Bristol Palace Hotel in Karlovy Vary was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, there was no concierge to assist with luggage, and security did not allow us to park briefly in front of the entrance for unloading.
The reception staff spoke very little English, making communication extremely difficult—surprising for an international hotel. The rooms were outdated and not very clean, and overall, the hotel’s customer service standards were quite low. The breakfast selection was very limited, repetitive, and not particularly tasty, to the point that we brought our own food.
Accessing the pool required a five-minute walk through an underground tunnel connecting the buildings, which was inconvenient. Additionally, we had booked Fango treatments, but when our appointment time arrived, we were simply informed via letter that the treatment was canceled due to a lack of supplies, with no rescheduling or alternative offered.
On a positive note, the massage therapists were friendly and spoke English, providing the only welcoming experience during our stay.
Overall, if you expect good customer service, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere, I cannot recommend this hotel.
