Should improve their Service consciousness The hotel is quit old. Very basic conditions. The ladies in the Breakfast were very rude. They refused to answer us in English. We had to communicate with them through the girl in the reception. They just ignor the girl from the reception. Look for an alternative hotel.

The hotel's interior is quite new, featuring modern high-tech features. Although it's a two-story building, it has an elevator. The breakfast is decent. The front desk staff are very polite. The hotel is located on the main street of town, and there is free parking in front of the hotel.

The Hotel Karel is a step above average, but only barely so. The rooms are small but clean; the bathrooms are small but clean; the shower is tiny. The hosted breakfast was also average, with but a few staples to get you through the day. One feature that stood out: the very nice swimming pool out behind the parking lot. A nice & small local hotel close to Ještěd ski area. This hotel looks traditional, but has something to offer. They have clean & good room, breakfast, restaurant and bar. The hotel is in a dubious neighborhood and near to the tram line. You can hear the tram passing by, late in the evening and early in the morning. The room had no air conditioning, so if it's a hot summer night you will have some trouble getting asleep. Otherwise, everything was nice and clean. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a good location. It is a 5-minute walk from a shopping center and the central bus stop. The breakfast was good and had a wide variety of options, and the cleaning was good. My only negative comment is that I did not like the design of the room I got as a Designer room. Other than that, it was a good stay overall.

Everything was in perfect order. The service was friendly, clean, and close to the city center. The only downside was the mattress being too soft. It's unbearable for people with spinal problems. You might want to consider improving comfort in this area.
