The hosts are amazing, very hospitable, breakfast is great with fresh juice, coffee, fresh fruit, eggs and everything served as order. Great bread as well! Service is top notch!
The bed is huge and comfortable! The ventilator above the bed works great to cool us and the room down. The room is extremely clean and the whole place is kept in excellent condition. The rooms are cleaned daily and restocked with free water and snack.
The whole experience is amazing. There is a pool and the whole place has a great combination of modern and jungle vibe with beach 5 minutes away

Lovely privately run small boutique hotel in beautiful, well kept grounds. 10 minute easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars in Las Terrenas. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Small pool with sun beds to soak up the sun. Only five villas, so quite private. We stayed in the only detached one which was fairly large, very clean with large bed and shower, including toiletries. Complimentary water, Sprite, and fruit juice in minibar, plus biscuits and plantain crisps. Nice veranda with chairs for relaxing with a drink. Only downside was that we didn’t have a coffee machine which the others did. However, the breakfast pergola also acts as a bar from 8.00-19.00 hours, so can get a coffee there. Could do with longer bar hours, but to be honest, most of the other visitors were out all day. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, toast and yoghurt with granola or a choice of omelette, all served by the couple who own it. Very friendly people, the husband speaks English but I don’t think his wife did. Would definitely recommend this small, quiet hotel. Ideal for couples as there is a no children or pets rule. Not for people looking for somewhere with a lot going on, and the pool is only big enough for short lengths. Accessed by a private gate that is monitored , so very secure. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we went back to Las Terrenas. Good value for money.

Owners are friendly and accommodating. Property is just far enough away to not be to loud but an easy walk to get to most everything

We had here amazing time. Owner is very friendly and easygoing, gives the best travel tips. Breakfasts were delicious, every morning fresh juice and fruits. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Basically everything was great. Thank you so much!

We loved staying at Hotel Punta Popy. Las Terrenas can be a bit hectic, and HPP’s extremely pretty layout of white cabins, lush green grounds, central pool and open-air breakfast room is sufficiently set back from the busy seaside strip to be perfectly tranquil while being only a ten-minute walk from the busy beach strip. The airy high-ceilinged rooms are spacious and well-designed. The hosts, who are present all through the early part of the day, knowledgeable, and highly competent, and they whip up a delicious and generous breakfast using the freshest of foods. Round-the-clock security is also reassuring.

Had the most wonderful time staying at Punta popy. The hotel was exceptional and just five minutes from the beach. The breakfast was lovely and varied. Our room was cleaned daily and the staff were so polite and helpful. The host, Javier was unbelievable, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. The most relaxing holiday you could have

We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days. It was my parents and myself with my brother. All I can say, if you wanna stay somewhere quiet this is it. Everything was nearby as well like restaurants, clubs, and SPECIALLY the beach. Probably a 6-8 minute walk. The owners were both there most of the days and it was honestly one of the best breakfast and dinners I have ever had. Honestly I thank my mom for have chosen this place because I was more than pleased by everything and its people who genuinely cared. Great great job in everything.

Perfectly Petite Boutique
This five room oasis is the perfect getaway. The hotel is run by a husband and wife who make sure to personalize your entire experience. Our stay included daily homemade breakfasts. The rooms are appropriately sized and very comfortable. The grounds are very well maintained and the property is extremely secure. I would, hands-down recommend this hotel when visiting Las Terrenas. (P.S. Ask about their homemade jam…it is delicious)

An amazing experience at Hotel Punta Popy in Las Terrenas! The owner and his wife were incredibly friendly and helpful with their tips. The hotel's location set a bit further back is actually an advantage when it comes to noise. The owner, Jaume, ensured we had an extremely pleasant vacation. Highly recommended!
