They were under construction in the layout of the lights in the room were uncomfortable. You couldn’t turn the lights off and have the fan running so if you turned off the lights, the fan would turn off, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the fan be able to run independently from the lights on the other side of the room that was a bother.

Great location on the Malecon. We had a nice room with a balcony and ocean view. But the main stand out point was the staff. All 3 gentlemen at the front desk were outstanding. Very responsive, polite and knowledge. We will be back

The place is very clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast here is great and has a great view of the beach. The pool is kept pretty clean and even lights up at night. If you're staying in Las Terrenas I would definitely recommend staying here.

I've been coming to the Villa for almost 12 years now. It's like home away from home. Just got back from a 5 day stay and it was great!!. The staff and new amenities are amazing.! There is a new dining space for guest with ocean views I might add.!! Yes.!

Warning to tourists - the men pushing you towards tables are scammers! We were charged more than $300 for a simple lunch and it was NOT optional, not a safe situation. It’s a nice beach but bring your own food!

Wonderful place! The service is good, the breakfast fresh and the rooms are clean with an ocean view. You have the beach in front of you, with palm trees all around, it almost seems it belongs only to you, no crowds and super clean. I would say it's a hidden treasure. Highly recmanded.

The parking lots are a little bit expensive and the tables, they have good places to eat.

Big apartment but empty with some rooms that are not even finished. Comfortable beds. Big kitchen but not even a single tea or coffee bag. Lot of noise from the outside and some windows cant be closed fully.

Feels lime after renovation! Both room and decor was fresh and brand new. Pool view is amazing! Beach is just few steps and they show you personal umbrella and loungers. There are 4 bars on the beach, so many options for drinks and food. In resort territory there are 5 restaurants but better options if walkin the town. I can recommend Trebol restaurant.

There was no facility to put soap or shampoo in the bathroom, the battery in the TV remote control ended its life and emitted acid, the sink's tap in the bathroom was out of order, it was stuck on very hot water, without pissibility to adjust the temperature of the water. The air conditioner didn't function in one of the two bedrooms

They did not clean the place at all. And master bed 🛌room bathroom sink was broken. And we had to mop the floor every day and the water 💧was ⚫◼⬛. And the dishes was not clean at all

The hotel needs a complete restoration. Do not expect a spa, or Jacuzzi. Nothing like a resort. It's only a quiet place to sleep in for a couple of days, and go outside after breakfast. They need to redecorate the place. Very good attention. I was expecting a good breakfast, and had it. I would like the place to be upgraded with kind of decor and the breakfast area to be rebuilt better.

Room is clean and staff is friendly. Didn’t get what I ordered but it was just for three nights so I said nothing. 3 stars because it’s very loud the whole time and there is no parking in front of the hotel or directly there.

This is a family owned hotel, so as soon as you enter the place the staff makes you feel like home. The breakfast is awesome and filling for person. With local fruits and natural juices done at the moment. We love it.

It is OK to spend a night.  Breakfast is not continental, everyday the same.  Internet was not good. TV with no Chanel.  lol.    Language only Spanish.  Towels was soap smelled.

About 20 kilometers from the airport. The room is of medium size but the mattress is too soft. Breakfast is two slices of bread and scrambled eggs!

The hotel is quite good when compared with hotels in this price category. With security and a barrier, hot water, drinking water in the lobby. Breakfast is modest, scrambled eggs and toast.

Great for locals, specially when you are looking to spend the night for an event. Its cheap but comfortable. If you are a local, make sure you get an extra blanket, the AC is a killer.

Very nice beach. I liked that there were a number of local folk who were enjoying the beach as well as tourist. Great sandy beach, with ample sitting areas (as long as you are eating or drinking from a nearby establishment). Water wasn't too rough the day that I was there.

I went for 10 days with my family. However my father is in a wheelchair and we had booked a handicap room. When we got to the room, it was the furthest thing from it. The room was old, falling a part and a below average sized room. the wheel chair couldn't even fit into the bathroom. So we called front desk, and they managed to find a new room. Overall is decent, with two minor downside, Internet isn't free 10 dollars per day is the fee and only one login is provided, and power outages. I experienced one power outage , while i was asleep my wife told me there were two more outages , not a big deal to me but had to mention it.
