However, we do not think upgrading to the Sun Ckub was worth, compared to similar upgrade at one of Hyatt’s resorts in Mayan Riviera.

Rested for 2 weeks in November. The location of the hotel is good, a beautiful large beach. Several other hotels of the same chain are nearby. Hotel Riu Naiboa is quite old and needs updating. Pretty good for the price. The kitchen is good, there is a sufficient selection of dishes, even for picky tourists. There is also a water park shared by several hotels.

We stayed in the Sun Club Adult section which was the best. private bar, private pool, room service. We are going to miss it very mush

Excellent resort- beautiful scenery and flowers. The staff at the Sunclub were excellent especially Julissa and Nichole. Elizabeth at the buffet great service and always knew what you needed. The Coco Cafe was great - the cappuccinos were fantastic. So sad that Sunscape is closing.

This is my second time to Sunscape and am very sad to hear it is closing. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Jordany is awesome!!! Great service I’m gonna miss this place a lot but also gonna miss the people who are working down there Bombom is also great and Luis thanks guys

We found stale, slimy and smelly watermelon and beans in the buffet multiple times. We also saw completely dried up pancakes and other meat and items like chicken coz they were directly placed on a hot surface. Other than food, the place was clean and reasonably priced.

The staff truly go above and beyond to meet your needs. The spa was a pleasant experience as well.

The hotel grounds were clean and the staff was courteous. Staff waits in the parking lot with an umbrella on rainy days for guests when they exit their cars. The room fridge had no amenities. I had to call front desk one day to report that the room still had not been cleaned at 5pm.

Overall great experience at this property. Ashley was amazing checking me in. She gave a great rundown of all the amenities and services as well as information about the local night life and best restaurants. I loved it here. The staff was great, every room had a balcony, the buffet had enough variety. Plenty of bars during the day and entertainment at night.

Playa Bachata resort is a 3 star experience. If you want a low cost all inclusive getaway, this place works. Don't expect high-quality food, drinks, or activities and you won't be disappointed. The pool and beach were great. The room was not. Slippery floor in bathroom, tub was a slippery death trap. AC dripped onto the floor, no iron, sheets were dirty. Food was MEh. I've been here before, and the experience was great. This time, it was below average and it felt like they were pushing for folks to go to the Senator next door. It was like they downgraded on purpose to showcase the other hotel
