I genuinely had the best time here at this resort. The food was amazing and the made per order food in the buffet was cool. Everything was very visually appealing and the staff were all so nice

Our room was fabulous, and so was pretty much everything else at the resort. We loved being able to access the other Bahia reports next door for some variety.

Bahía Príncipe was amazing all around the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The kids club teachers were rockstars! Entertainment was outstanding!

We had both been assigned the same room and had to all go back to reception to have things straightened out - People were smoking inside the resort where there were “no smoking” signs - Many tiles in the pools had come loose and we sitting detached at the bottom of the pools - a few of the waterslides were broken and taped off to not be used

I felt really bad for the people I recommended, but this time, unfortunately, Riu ruined all my expectations and made me not want to be there at all. The food was good, although there was little variety in the buffets

The room was nice and spacious with a huge bed. There was also a Jacuzzi in the balcony but I didn't try it. The fridge was restocked every day, including bottled water

Lovely beach but there aren't a lot of sunbeds for all the hotel guests. The pool is also nice and it's convenient that it's right by the beach and close to the bar

First of all! Best butler is Carlos Rosario! You need to get in contact with him at your arrival, he will take care of all your needs and make sure you get a VIP experience! The resort is amazing with super nice rooms and views

It has been a wonderful experience, we came for 4 days and have no regrets so far. The children's kids club has been wonderful and entertaining for the children and there's plenty of adult entertainment as well

Our Home in Paradise Our family just completed our ninth visit to Cayo Levantado Resort since first discovering this magical sanctuary in May 2024 , and what continues to amaze us is that every single stay becomes even more extraordinary than the one before

The surrounding natural beauty makes everything even more special; the island's landscapes are breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious, with comfortable beds, high-quality towels and linens

We were extremely well taken care of there as well; Julio, with his irreverence and cheerfulness, made everything more pleasant; Edward, with his discretion and competence; and Glen, he definitely went out of his way to do everything to meet our needs

In the restaurants, I must highlight the attention we received from Alan, Luiz, Miguelina, and Esmilsi, with a huge thank you to Miguel who was truly impressively present everywhere and always smiling to make everything special

(the girls names are harder to remember for me but did just as good!) not only was the entertainment crew awesome but the landscapers, life guards, bartenders, restaurant crew, and lobby workers looked like they loved their jobs and gave us a friendly smile and most of the time said hi to us!

The usual suspects of pool chair hogs every stinkin day that the resort needs to better address ( There are signs at literally every pool cabana and umbrella to address the issue but obviously the offenders cant read!!) Second issue is reserving the ala carte restaurants

Having access to 4 large and very nice pool areas was great. The room was okay but the room cleaning staff was excellent. The food at the buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner had a wide variety of options

Everyday visits to the concierges in main lobby to try to find an open reservation or an earlier time was a daily pain in the rear. Overall I was happy with my visit to this resort

The resort was clean, inviting, and quite a hidden gem of Bahia Principe properties. The staff at this resort were friendly, several spoke English, and most were knowledgable

The ala carte restaurants Asian Fusion and their Rodizio Grill was excellent. The beach area is vast, very walkable, and very pretty with lots of palm trees

I stayed in this hotel back in 2017. The pool is amazing and they keep you entertained with fun activities during the day. The buffet is great and we specially enjoyed the restaurants we could book for no extra cost

This resort had the best customer service I have ever experienced. We arrived and the door man escorted us to the desk to check in. They offered us refreshments while we waited. The staff is so friendly and helpful

Castillo is by far the best bartender we've ever encountered at a resort! Our butler/concierge Albert was equally amazing. He was attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay

When we mentioned it was my mother-in-law's birthday, Albert took care of everything—he arranged beautiful decorations for her room, ordered a gorgeous cake, and had fresh flowers delivered

We just spent a week at the incredible Dreams Onyx Resort with our family of 9, and I can't say enough good things about this place

A real honest review: This resort is really nice if your trying to have a chill week. The rooms are exactly what the photos on the website look like, the food is a huge buffer with a lot of selection

There is lots of stuff to do on the beach such as ping-pong, badminton, horseshoe, volleyball, and basketball, and tennis. A lot of locals come in for the weekends but they never caused an issue and stayed to themselves

Closeness to the sea makes it even better, but you can also use one of their pools. The food was tasty, stuff really nice

When getting ready to leave, you can ask for the bellboys to get the baggage with you back to the lobby in one of the golf cars that they use to move around

People working there were always very helpful whenever assistance was needed. Food was tasty, and the room we booked (suite with swim out) was awesome

The place is very big, so be aware that there will be quite a bit of walking to get to the lobby (where most restaurants are)

When we were leaving, the baby lost the bracelet because her hands are too small for it. She forced us to pay $50 for it. She told us that she won't check us out until we paid the money

When we were coming in, the lady at the front desk named "Claudia" put a bracelet key in my baby's hand even though they knew that the baby is not going to open the door

I recommend if you want pool chairs with umbrellas, you need to get them early as most are taken by 9:00 AM and only chairs without umbrellas are left

Honestly, I would like to give more positive feedback and review but I had better experience in 3 or 4 stars hotels around the world

Some waiters at the Poseidon buffet treated us reluctantly, quite the opposite of Domingo who was always attentive and with a good smile, the guys at the pool bar at the palace and the Secret are 100%, as for the room we had cockroaches in bed, bathrooms were regularly clean, otherwise good

Majority of staff do not speak (or don't want to) basic English, so if you don't speak Spanish - you better find other place

A fantastic week to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. Julisa was incredibly helpful in keeping things organized even when we had to move venues last minute. The entire resort staff were friendly and very helpful

This was our 2nd stay we went in March 2025 stated in Palace part of property this time in Barao Suite with rooftop balcony over looking ocean. Beautiful to wake up with the amazing ocean view

But he didn't stop there, in the first few days we were not aware of his sift so contacted him for ride, he was not even working yet and reached out to a fellow employee to get a rude for us

Our first night at the Excellence El Carmen we ventured into the Agave restaurant. My wife and I had a table outside overlooking the resort. The food was outstanding, courtesy of Chef Alvin. And the service was top-notch

My recent visit to Excellence El Carmen was absolutely phenomenal, exceeding all expectations! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that everything here is top-notch

My view is still great but nothing beats a beach view. The give you a glass of champagne when you arrive. There was a bottle of champagne waiting for me in my room

The balcony was perfect, the bar was excellent. Most of all the staff was great like always. Julia Polanco provided us with an outstanding customer service. She kept us informed and she treated us like if we were family

I can honestly say we made us feel like we were at home. My wife and I are definitely going back

This was my 6 time there but i will be searching for a different resort next year

Huge thanks to Maria Montes and Nilson Herrera in the buffet hall—Nilson even remembered us from 6 years ago! They greeted us daily with smiles and hugs, saved space for our big group every morning, and treated our kids like their own

We were a group of 16, from a 1-year-old to grandparents, and the staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. Juan and Jose helped us settle in, responded instantly to any request, and checked on us daily

For my mom’s birthday, they surprised her with champagne at the pool, decorated the hibachi restaurant, brought out a cake, and even gifted her a massage. They truly made her day unforgettable

The beach area was nice with the palm trees, but there was tons of seaweed washed a shore for days and no one cleaned it. The water had lots of seaweed as well. All in all a nice place, but most likely not going back

Clean rooms, beautiful well kept property, nice professional staff, clean pools ! Food was ok but not great.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and the staff made it amazing. Especially a one staff member in particular Zorrilla (Zorro for short) but he was the one that made our stay wonderful

Check-in/out is incredibly too long. Waited atleast an hour to be checked in. Rooms were smelly and bed linen were overwhelming stank. Had to contact guest services for clean bed linen and the new linen still had an odor

The pools are great, warm and they have activities in the pool to keep you entertained during the day. Though the floor is very crumbly and paint chipped everywhere but doesn’t ruin the overall experience of the pool

All the drinks are exceptional for an all inclusive hotel (I’ve stayed in all inclusive and they’ve always been really crappy) but these ones are nice, they do slushy pina coladas and daiquiris and whole menu of inclusive cocktails, rums, tequilas, gin and tonic and so on

However, I was disappointed that although they promised a delightful seaside breakfast the following morning, they neglected to mention that a sales pitch for an expensive membership would be included

While this kind of behavior might unfortunately be expected outside the resort, it is completely unacceptable from people operating inside the hotel. This experience seriously affected our sense of safety and trust
