Except for the construction area, everything else is quite satisfactory. The snorkeling on the boardwalk is really great and the corals are beautiful. But the facilities in Sombay are not very good and there is nothing to eat.

Soma Bay is a hotel district. There's a shuttle bus to the nearby commercial street, restaurants, and supermarkets, but the intervals are quite long. Several hotels are actually closest to the boardwalk, but they're not available for booking on domestic platforms. The Sheraton isn't too far to walk to, but the Kempinski is closer to the commercial street, but farther from the boardwalk. The ocean view...

So I did not read clearly when booking - all meals included, with beers / alcohol / snacks available basically at all time. The facilities (beaches and pools) were great as well. I recently stayed at a hotel Coral beach resort in Hurghada, and my experience left me with only positive impressions. The hotel is located in a great spot — close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable.

It was a smooth check in although I arrived very early in the morning (5a.m). The staff were very attentive & welcoming. Thanks to Abdul who greet us. The food comes in massive varieties, fresh and delicious. We really enjoy our stay here.

Just an average five-star hotel. Wi-Fi was chargeable throughout, even in the rooms and lobby. The dispensed soft drinks tasted watered down, like tap water. The coffee was salty, making me seriously wonder if they'd used seawater. As for the beach, it was tiny and full of stones.

Very disappointed. This is our 3rd visit and the service has deteriorated significantly since the 1st and 2nd. Too few staff, too few sun loungers, some staff argumentative or rude others saying they would fix a problem but didn’t. We won’t be back.
