The original hotel was built in the Nubian style. Friendly, approachable staff, good service. A lot of tourists among Europeans (mostly Germans). Recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

Cleanliness: Standard. Stayed for two nights, and on the second day, bath towels and water in the fridge weren't replenished in time.
Environment: The common areas were nice, with Wi-Fi, two swimming pools, and a public beach.
Service: Some staff showed signs of discrimination towards Asian guests.
Service: I didn't particularly notice staff being more enthusiastic towards Westerners and ignoring Chinese guests. Everyone was very friendly and greeted us warmly, and service was quick. I do think the comparison is unfair, as Western guests often tip for even a single drink.
Environment: It's located above Hilton and Marriott, close to the ferry terminal and within easy reach of city dining. Even with a nearly 40% price increase, for an all-inclusive hotel, the environment and location still make it a great value.
1. Very good location near the port of Hurghada
2. Beautiful protected reef, with lifeguards watching over the sea and people.
3. Fast service in the restaurants. Special thanks to mr. Ameen Ehody at main restaurant for kind and good service. Fast cleaning and welcoming kind staff.

5. Food is not bad, can be improved.
6. The beds at the beach are many, but have to be reserved early as everyone reserves them at night.
7. Beds linen has to be updated (a bit old) and pillows comfort needs to be improved.
8. Very attentive staff to people. I have seen many people with some limited abilities and i think this hotel is comfortable for them.
9. During the day they offer different activities such as darts, aquagym, stretching, yoga, dancing, bocce and so on. Animation staff does great job.
10. Rooms are old but quiet and spacious, the balconies to beautiful lagoon with nice quiet waters.
11. In the evening you can also play billiard if you wish.
12. Water bottles are provided daily.
My reccomendations to improve:
1. Matrasses and pillows need to be changed for new, same i can say about the rooms - they need renovation (especially the bathroom with bathtub and curtain)
2. Food can have more variety and more of fresh sea fish can be added.
3. Internet is not working in the rooms (at the balconies sometimes and weak in all hotel)
4. Sunbeds at the beach are wooden and old - need to be changed (for wooden better)
5. As all inclusive the hotel should provide some more non alcoholic drink options for free like fresh juices.
While booking this trip through trip.com, I selected 12 years for my younger daughter and two adults. I was supposed to pay 48 dollars at property for my child, surprisingly the reception asked me to pay some huge amount which is around 170 dollars, saying they will consider my daughter as an adult, as she is 12 years 3 months, we were tired, hungry, after travelling 5 hours by road, had to fight a lot for this, at last the manager considered and I paid the due amount only. If 12/13 years is considered as an adult, why trip is giving the option to select child till 17 years of age? Or I am not sure this is a trick of the hotel to earn more money? I want to make sure before booking with this website again. I always book through ***********, never experienced such an issue.
