We stayed here for 1 night before heading back to Cairo. Upon check in, staff at the desk were polite and no issues. I told the manager that I needed a taxi to the airport at 5:20am to make our 6:40 flight back to Cairo the next morning. He specifically said that he could arrange it, and also because we were leaving early he said he could arrange a breakfast box for us. Great start. Unfortunately this is where the positives end. They have a private beach area, but it was full and there wasnt many seats available. Turns out, everyone there werent even guests of the hotel. Seems like they let a bus load of people come and use the beach everyday, as well as the dining hall. Families and kids everywhere, even though this resort is advertised as adults only. Despite a high hotel rating, the buffet lunch was very average and we had to pay 350 pounds per person. The room was fine and no issues there. To our surprise the dining hall is closed for dinner even though one of the staff told us it was open for dinner. And also dinner is advertised as being available at the hotel. Finally the worst part. We messaged the manager to confirm that he had booked our taxi for the next morning. He said he will get his colleague to arrange. He also said some other things that werent clear, but we assumed all would be good. Anyway, next morning we wake up and get to the front at 5:15am. We wait 10 minutes and no sign of a taxi. I ask the guy at the desk but he had no idea. After another 5 minutes I asked him again, but he doesnt know english so I have to translate. He still has no idea. He then calls a taxi for us. The taxi didnt arrive until 5:50am. So because of this we missed our 6:40am flight. We messaged the manager and he refused to take responsibility. We had to pay for new flights and he refused to reimburse us. To make things even worse, he tried to blame us by saying that he suggested us to book a taxi on Indrive. HIS TXT MESSAGES NEVER SAID IT!!! So twice he told us he would arrange a taxi foe the airport and never did it! Nearly made us miss our connecting international flight to Doha. Useless manager and most staff speak poor english. I suggest to take your business elsewhere
