Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa in Vihula

Great place

It was a treat to stay there on my 80th birthday. I want to thank the hotel for the wine, fruits and the greeting that I received. Apart from that the whole manor is stunning - A lake, river, waterfall, old houses with exhibitions. An old flour mill - gardens - simply charming.

For a 4-star-plus hotel, the room amenities leave something to be desired (e.g., no kettle, furniture not in keeping with the overall ambiance of the complex). Breakfast was very good, including vegan/vegetarian options. The spa was small but nice.

Exquisite
This is a huge complex that is that big that the reception provides a map for you to get around! I can see why this is usually an expensive stay but we got a good weekday deal. The room had a nice view of the stream but the room isn’t the main draw. There is included facilities such as swimming pool, 2 jacuzzis and 4 different saunas. In the grounds there is a garden, lakes with bridges, car museum, windmill, vodka museum, water mill museum and nature walks. There are paid add ons such as spa treatments. There are 2 restaurants plus a bar and a cafe. The breakfast was extremely plentiful with far too many hot and cold options to list. The parking is free and there is no other way to arrive but by car.

What is spectacular hotel. I felt like I stepped into a Time Machine visiting this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed here one night and we were both enchanted. Everything here felt like a time gone by, and reminded me of the good old days, even if I am too young to know what the good old days were. There is such a level of class and Luxury, and rustic charm to the manner. I really enjoyed the fact that nothing seemed too modern, but everything was done with Grace and elegance. The food at breakfast and dinner was simply amazing. Our servers and staff were all incredibly attentive, friendly, and took care of our every need. We even had a chance to meet with the owner, and she took us on a private tour on her golf, cut to the vodka museum, and to see the rest of the grounds. I think this is the place. We are going to end up getting married someday, because everything was simply perfect, you cannot imagine a betterresort. There are also tons of activities to do here, like a barn to see the livestock, a spa, and an amazing Sauna and Jim. I’m getting goosebumps now just thinking of this lovely respite from the chaos. I can’t wait to come back.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the overnight stay did not meet my expectations. The room I stayed in was stuffy despite keeping the window open all day and night, which made the stay uncomfortable. Furthermore, the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable—I couldn’t sleep at all, which ruined the overall experience. There was also some confusion regarding the restaurant. I had booked a table a week in advance, but no one informed me that dinner would be served buffet-style. While the food itself was excellent, it would have been nice to know this detail beforehand. It is also worth mentioning that the spa is located outside the main building. While this might not be an issue in summer, it becomes inconvenient during winter due to the cold weather. Overall, Vihula Manor is a beautiful location for enjoying nature and relaxing for a short visit. However, based on this experience, some improvements are needed. For example, better ventilation in the rooms, more comfortable bedding, and clearer communication during bookings would enhance the experience significantly.

A very beautiful manor, accommodation in small, cozy rooms. SPA is small, but has everything to help you relax. Breakfast is in a beautiful hall, quite satisfactory. There are quant little villasest nearby as well as other major houses to visit.

Absolutely great experience with my kids autumn schoolbreak 😊 warm and cozy spa, stunning food, friendly service and we were all amazed by the nature and hiking trails. As we are talking about old manor then rooms are a bit small and dark but clean and warm. Kids Loved the watermill museum. Husband liked the small old cars museum.
