This property is just on the edge of the old town the location couldn't be better.
The room was big and spacious and well adorned with the essentials to insure a more than comfortable stay and the room was spotlessly clean.
The front desk staff is top notch from check-in to check out.
The breakfest is quality dont pass it up.

Just by the edge of the Old town. Happy with my experience. Nice spa area with a sauna and pool, a small gym with basic equipment. Nice room with a good inventory and furniture. Helpful staff. If I had to wish for one improvement it would be to make better scrambled eggs for breakfast... :)

I stayed for four nights on a business trip however I know Tallinn very well. This is without a question the perfect location for business or leisure. Make sure you upgrade to get a view of Freedom Square. Breakfast was 10/10. Lovely pool and sauna. Room Service menu could be improved. Friendly service at all times !

We stayed at Palace Hotell for 3 days in September 2025. We got room 709 and the room layout was quite good with good size bed, ceiling windows and with a wardrobe and desk in the entrance area. The desk included a small fridge with a bit of content which is not that common these days. The wardrobe included a small safe but also an iron and ironing board. The bed was quite comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too firm for me. The room had a greyish carpet on the floor and I would have preferred a wooden floor.
The bathroom was tiled and had a large shower area, and the soap/shampoo had a pleasant fragrance.
There is a small pool and jacuzzi in the basement. There is also a steam room and a standard sauna next to the pool area.
Breakfast was good with a selection of egg, bacon, bread and some local products.
The location of the hotel is very good. It only takes like 5 minutes to walk to the old town!
All in all: this was a great hotel for us on our short stay in Tallinn. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and I would love to stay here again if I return to Tallinn.

I just loved everything about this hotel. The room was very spacious, with large comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious with clean towels. Excellent service with a smile throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, with a lot of varieties. Just missed some warm food, freshly made.
For me the bonus was the view from the window. The location is another highlight of the hotel, we could walk around easily throughout the city. I would love to come back to Tallinn and the Palace Hotel at Tallinn.

I rated this place with 2 stars, but it was one star for me. The good things: great location to visit the old city area, excellent access to public transportation and close to covered paid parking. My wife and I stayed for 3 days in mid August and were very uncomfortable in our room because it was so cold, a pretty consistent 68 degrees. The hallway outside the room was warmer, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving the door open all night. The bathroom had an illuminated shaving mirror that was too dim to be useful. The shower was a bathtub arrangement with very high sides and no hand holds. I expect they will be sued someday when someone injures themselves after taking a fall. Finally regarding the breakfast buffet, it was OK if you like cold eggs. No chafing dishes, only heat lamps that didn't do the job. Also, should have a second toaster. Finally, the TV was useless: too dim, too far from bed in upgraded room, and the audio level was much too low for my somewhat impaired hearing.

I specially narrowed down my search of hotels to ones that have air conditioning as it was expected to be a very warm weekend. When I arrived late in the evening my room was very warm at 75 degrees (24C). After having the AC on for about an hour with no change I went down to the front desk. They said maintenance was out for the evening but they would look at it the next day. They gave me a fan and told me to open the window in the meantime. While this was a decent solution, this was NOT AC. In addition, my room was facing the road and it was VERY noisy all night.
The next day I went down and asked again about the AC and they said they'd have maintenance in to look at it.
When I came back from exploring 5 or so hours later, the AC was fixed and they left a complimentary bottle of wine.
That was nice of them but honestly I'm still a little upset because this place was NOT at all cheap. I could have gotten a room elsewhere that didn't advertise AC for half the price.
The hotel staff did try to fix the issue but I feel like they could have moved me to a different room that first evening.
The rest of the stay went well once my AC was working.
The room was nice enough, the location was great, the staff were nice, the beds were very comfy, the AC was cold and quiet once it worked, and the shower and bathroom were nice.
If I were to visit again I'd possibly stay here again but only if they could verify beforehand that the AC worked.

In general the hotel js a very good choice .
However , I would wish they can at some stage remove the bath tub and make a shower room.

The best price-value hotel in Tallinn. Have stayed there many times, and service is always exceptional. Got free upgrade aleways(expedia gold) and the breakfast is first class.

Great location and a great hotel! Lovely pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Rooms were very comfortable. I had the streudel in the cafe and it was delicious! Afternoon complimentary sparkling/still water was a nice touch
