Modern hotel located in the resort of Tignes Val claret, in the heart of the ski of the ski area Espace Killy, where about 300 miles of interconnected trails. Guests of the hotel have a great opportunity to get on your skis right outside the door. Close to numerous bars, cafes and shops. The hotel is renovated, the Chalet is decorated using natural materials and light colors. It offers cosy rooms. They are all equipped with modern amenities, decorated with soft colours and wooden furniture. The Windows offer amazing views of the ski slopes. In the morning enjoy a delicious Breakfast buffet of healthy and nutritious meals, served in the dining room with beautiful views of the white slopes. After a day of skiing in the cosy bar and lounge you can enjoy a Cup of tea or hot chocolate and in the evening relax with a exclusive cocktail party. The hotel has a restaurant with large Windows overlooking the unique panorama of snow-capped mountain peaks, stretching over the distant horizon. The chef of the restaurant offers a varied menu of traditional and gastronomic French cuisine and local delicacies.

The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the hotel itself is very disappointing. It was once rated four stars—something you can still see on the sign outside, where one star has been coloured in with a marker pen. In reality, it now feels closer to a two-star standard at best. Our room was not cleaned at any point during our stay. We had to ask reception to have the bin emptied and to provide more toilet roll. The whole room was unclean - in the attached picture you can see the dirt and dust on the wardrobe rail. The shaving mirror had clearly been wiped with a dirty cloth—so much so that a previous guest had written “clean me” in the residue. The room was also uncomfortably hot, even with the radiator turned off. We had no choice but to keep the window open at all times, despite freezing temperatures and snow outside. The communal bar was advertised as opening from 4pm, but it never opened during our stay. Breakfast was very basic, and both food and crockery frequently ran out. There is no jacuzzi or spa in this hotel - that closed some time ago. The only positive is the location, but there are far better hotels nearby. I would recommend avoiding this one.

Excellent stay here, couldn’t be closer to the slopes or restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, cosy room with comfy bed. Breakfast with a view was lovely. As we were checking out at 7am they provided us with a little breakfast bag for our travels home which was a really nice touch. Also lockers for skis and heated racks to dry boots. Really enjoyed our stay and definitely would come back. Staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is nice, room quality is good, spacious and clean, easy access to restaurants, shops and bars. Excellently located to get to the lifts (2min walk to allow a ski down to the main lifts Tichot, Bollin, Les Lanches and Funiculaire (to get up to Grande Motte). Includes to a clean and well kept ski locker room (and boot warmers!) which is really helpful. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough!

Stayed in a twin room. Very spacious and clean. Excellent Views of the mountain/pistes from the room. Practically ski in ski out. Just cross the road and ski down to the lifts. Ski room has individual ski locks for each room and boot warmer rack. Would choose again.

Basic but clean hotel rooms and friendly staff.

Breakfast is very simple for a 3* hotel with no options to take snacks for the day from the (basic) buffet.

There is a bar area but it is only open from 1700/1900 - it is literally closed (doors locked) outside these times, so there is nowhere to chill out if you come off the slopes early.

The location of the hotel has pros and cons..

The main advantage is that it is virtually ski-in-ski-out.

The main disadvantage is that the hotel is opposite a club on the main Val Claret square and the bedroom windows are very thin. We didn’t have a single good night sleep as a result of rowdy people leaving the club though until 0400/0500 hrs.

If the hotel can’t guarantee you a room facing away from the street, stay somewhere else.

Lovely small hotel in a fabulous location. Room as expected and facilities good. Ski room great and so easy to access our stuff and get straight outside. Breakfast was ok but only ok. Only scrambled eggs and bacon each day as hot choice was limiting. Coffee machine often run out of coffee when we had breakfast a bit later - disappointing to say the least. Staff were pleasant but not what I was expecting after reading many 5 star trip advisor reviews which was disappointing. Some guests were expecting a hot tub as trip advisor information about the hotel had offered - however no hot tub - we were told the hotel had recently changed hands so surely they need to get rid of the reviews which pertain to previous owners as they are now misleading. It also says there is fridge in mini bar in rooms - not in ours. Lovely breakfast area with great views and also cosy bar area but we could only use this bar area when the bar was open - 5 - 7pm . What a shame such a lovely communal area couldn't be used by people in the hotel to just go and relax in and socialise with each other or have some peace and quiet rather than be in bedrooms all of the time when in the hotel - this is a great shame and we felt REALLY let the hotel down. Hardly anyone used the bar for drinks when we were there at 5 til 7 so why not just open it up as a communal lounge area for residents - would be SUCH a better use. We were told the evening before we left for a 5am pick up that there would be a take away breakfast for us however this did not happen. Would I stay again? Probably not as it is currently although this has the potential to be a really special place if the new owners give it some thought.

We booked this last minute - day before as we had a hotel for a week booked in Val d'Isère but arrived a day early so needed a night in a hotel. We had 2 rooms, we are a family of 4. The hotel is very conveniently located, very near ski lift and many restaurants. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. It is fairly basic but if you are going to be out most of the time skiing and then out for dinner/drinking this is perfect. The reception staff were very friendly. We only found out by accident that you need a code to get back in after a certain time (think 10 pm) at night so luckily we weren't caught out. I didn't have breakfast but I believe a continental breakfast is included in the price. There is no parking which was a bit of a pain as we had a car. There is a ski locker with individual locks.

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel, we came for a weeks skiing holiday through Crystal and the hotel was a perfect location for us right next to a lift! The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful and it was warm which was nice to get ski stuff dried. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning, there was plenty to choose from and was all very good!

Lovely little hotel in an ideal location for skiing - walk across the road and you're on the slopes. Breakfast was simple but offered everything you'd need - coffee, tea, bacon, eggs, juice, toast, fruit, yoghurt etc. The shower was great too - really warm and great pressure. If I were to be picky, they could have better WiFi in the rooms.

Clean and functional hotel that is well connected but very poor breakfasts. The breakfast staff are fairly unhelpful and the quality of the food is poor. I was surprised that there is no baguette on offer in a French hotel and the croissants and pain au chocolats are cooked on site from frozen rather than being bought in fresh. Not really acceptable.
